I started from beginner level,but now I have created my first web-page with HTML,CSS and JS!!! It is great, and I am very happy getting new knowledges. I want to continue my education to become a frontend-developer, and I am sure that SheCodes will help me in my way! I am wery grateful to Matt Delac and the whole team of SheCodes!
It was great fun learning how to build responsive websites and especially our own portfolio website. Responsive websites are a must nowadays, and I'm grateful for Matt and his team who teach the best practices for website responsiveness in this interesting workshop!
At a crossroad in my life, where I was desperate to find something relevant, that also stands for women empowerment and that I could dig my creative claws into - I couldn’t have found ShCodes at a better time. I don’t think I’ve done something so frustrating, but as highly rewarding recently than learning the basics of coding. Having Matt to talk through things with, and make lights of stressful situations was what got me though in the end and I can’t wait to keep practising to eventually become a front end developer, and learn other languages to potentially go further. The world of code seems limitless, with opportunity to enter any industry. My ultimate goal is to be able to build and host my own website from scratch, that will encourage collaboration and interaction. This course has given me the base to build towards that, in terms of the community and the learning material. Thank you SheCodes, I may be back to complete the rest of the packages!💫

I enjoyed this course as it was a good mixture of basic and advanced knowledge. The introduced libraries are extremely useful; it saves a lot of time! Playing around with the time zones and formatting dates was also fun.

In this course I have learned a lot in the short time I have been. I like the classes with the instructor Matt, he is a good teacher and makes everything easy to understand. The methodology in which after most of the lessons a challenge is carried out and then the solution is explained is striking since it allows reinforcing the topics seen. The first project was challenging and I enjoyed doing it, I like the freedom that was given to do it since it allows us to challenge ourselves and let our imagination run wild. It is also fun to work with the tools that SheCodes offers, it makes the job easier.I am excited to continue coding and learning!
I had little developer experience when I started this class and in the past, I would start and stop because it was overwhelming. This was a challenge but Matt has a remarkable way of simplifying each section to make it easy to understand. My confidence has increased and now I feel like it finally clicked. I would like to pay attention to Introducing SheCodes Coding Tools: CSS Color Palettes and CSS Gradients. These tools are fantastic and make every project better. A lot of thanks to Matt Delac and the SheCodes team for the cool spending time and new coding skills. I really appreciate the learning opportunity I got through the SheCodes Foundation program.

I learned so much from SheCodes, thank you Matt! Although the curriculum was challenging, I was able to learn 4 different skills in one week; I learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Microsoft Visual Studio. Learning React was challenging and I'd like to thank Matt for creating lessons and challenges that really helped me understand the structure and flow of data in React. I personally take a little longer to understand things; so I make sure to watch each video twice and write notes when he drops nuggets. I'm having a lot of fun; and though some techniques can be tricky, it's a very accomplishing feeling once you get the hang of it!
