I'm so happy to have come across SheCodes, Great course for beginners! Matt teaching and instructions were easy to understand.
React ⚛️ is one of the most in-demand coding frameworks today. I gain some quality knowledge of React in just 6 weeks part-time. I think this course is a good variant for anyone who would like to work becoming a developer. A lot of thanks to Matt Delac @matthieu, SheCodes team @shecodes.io, and SheCodes Foundation @shecodesfoundation for the cool 🤩 spending time and new coding skills 🤓.
I learnt so much in this course than i have watching videos. It was more practical, engaging and the concepts were very well explained. Kudos to Matt Delac!
I really enjoyed learning in SheCodes. Everything is very accessible. I have an elementary level of English, but thanks to Matt and the video lesson, I was able to understand everything.
Shecodes plus was a bit more challenging but with Matt amazing instruction's it was so easy to understand. I love that the team is always willing to help and I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait to start my next shecodes react course.
This was my third workshop with SheCodes, and I loved it. You learn so much in such a small timeframe with the workshop add-ons, and Matt is an excellent teacher. Highly recommend!
I did it again!! Learning a new skill can be difficult but rewarding. I was hard on myself during these past 8 weeks, trying to push myself to the point I was lacking food and sleep. I had to remind myself that it's okay to take a break, refresh and start again, especially when my code has errors. By clearing my head I was able to take another approach and found the solution. So, it's okay to take a break but giving up is not an option for me. Thanks to Matt and his team for providing so much support during this time.
I am so happy to be part of SheCodes team! It was great to create HTML, CSS (my favorite) and JavaScript. I never believed that I can do something like this. WOW!! Now I am sure, if you want it you will get it. Most of important thing - have teacher like Mattihieu Delac))

Really enjoyed this course - it is fairly hard, and doing some extra Youtube or Free Code Camp alongside really helps the learning - it took me a bit longer than normal, but Matt re-covers things we had done in the past which was really helpful. Personally, I think it would be great if Matt added in how to handle the temp change, just so we know how to do it in the most efficient way possible
I'm beyond thrilled with Matt and the entire SheCodes Team! Due to the Slack Community I never felt alone and I'm impressed with the amount of support I had at my fingertips! The small homework assignments kept me engaged and looking forward to learning more. 10/10 would recommend this course for any woman trying to learn Web Development skills.

I have a bit of background in coding but I learned more here in SheCodes than when I was doing this professionally. The lessons are very well paced and the explanations are not lengthy - the Instructor, Matt, goes straight to the point, which I really appreciate. He also does it in a way that's easily understandable. I also like how the exercises are not super serious where it can get intimidating. Rather, it's fun and there's a whole community out there that's willing to help you if you're stuck.

If you know nothing about coding, then SheCodes is a good place to start. This workshop is fantastic and so efficient. The lessons were easy to learn. I have done online curses in the past but this is so different. The mode of delivery and platform navigation is perfect. Thanks, Matt for making this course so flexible, and easy to learn. I was skeptical about the workshop at first, and I doubted myself that I was going to be able to learn even the basics because I've never coded in my life before, but I am glad to say that I made it, and the course really makes the difference! I was surprised by the amount I was able to learn in such a short time! Matt's instruction was clear, easy to follow and fun. I am proud of my final project. Since I work full time and go to college I was afraid of adding more to my plate, but the self pace of the course worked out perfectly as I was able to get a lot done when I have time, and take a day or two break if I need it. No one is kidding about React, it IS hard work, BUT...Matt takes the time to show you step by step how to build it and explains why it works the way it does. He even shows you possible incorrect solutions and why they are not the best choice. It will test your patience but it feels so exciting when you figure the puzzle out! As long as you follow your coding right along his teachings, you WILL succeed :D

My SheCodes journey was very constructive. I started from scratch, and in 9 months I have learned how to code. It is very fulfilling when you see your own work come to life. I can not say that it was easy, but definately worth it, 1000%. The workshops are very well structured, they are easy to follow and very understandable. The Challanges are fun and exciting. I can highly recommend this courses, they are made in such way that even without previous coding experience you can learn it. Matt is a very good instructor and all the SheCodes team is helpfull.

I was so sure that this course is going to be great that I was preparing to go along with the cost and start studying. And then Matt let me know that I qualify for financial aid and the SheCodes Foundation helped me be a part of this wonderful begginer course! After three weeks I feel like I've definetely got a good a grasp on many of the elements of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and I am very satisfied with how the course has been going. I am excited for the next ones, and can't wait to be a part of the Tech Community in the future!
Just completed the She Codes Basic-add on course (Intro to Web Development) . The course content was interesting and challenging, but presented in a way that was easy to follow. I like the practical approach to learning coding, which allowed me to apply what I learned immediately. There's a project that we had to create at the end, and Matt, the instructor, was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the project, and I felt that I was able to learn a lot through this experience. I also like the fact that everyone's project is unique and different, despite us all learning the same thing. I can't wait to continue my coding journey with She Codes!

I struggled to understand some of the steps as when Matt was coding, the screen was jumping and I wasn't sure exactly what the changes were. I had to rewind the videos a lot to be on the same page.

It was a very interesting 3 weeks, with useful tips from Matt and information well organised. There were a couple of tight moments, but with instructions and Google everything was solved. Awaiting the next step.
As always a challenging experience, many days thinking about the final design, the solution to provide and trying to make all functional besides good looking...I love these lessons, and to practice new knowledge after lessons and explore how to fusion all in the final project...I feel stronger when I finish every project... thanks to Matt and all the staff behind these amazing workshops. 😍☺👩🏾💻🤗

At this stage, I had to turn my brain over, since the logic of React is different from javascript. But Matt explained everything in great detail and gradually brought everything up to date. After completing this part of the course, you will have an understanding of the React framework and you will be able to create a beautiful application. I'm very glad to be here.

Like the Basics workshop, the Basics Add-On workshop was fun and so easy to follow along with. I was able to finish another landing page fairly quickly and with the knowledge that I knew exactly what I was doing. SheCodes basic was fun to learn.I love the bit-sized lessons and the fact that there were challenges at each lessons.It is a very quick way to get a basic knowledge in html ,css and javascript. React is a bit challenging at a first glance. But when you get deeper it becomes so easy to solve complicated tasks, which would be a liitle puzzled if you solve them with pure JS. I would definitely recommend SheCodes Workshops. Matt as always explains everything in easy way. SheCodes team is always ready to help. And newly created helper Athena AI is awesome. I really enjoy the little add-ons to each section. This one we created another useful project and Matt is always teaching new things. This add-on had a lot of good extra information that will be useful anywhere. Don't hesitate, it is worth it.

I would recommend this course to anyone interested in starting their Web development journey! Matt explains the topic very clearly and you can always come back to any part of the video if you miss or forget something from previous lessons. It will be a lot of frustration when something doesn't work yout the way you wanted to, but a lot of joy as well once your code works. I'm looking forward to the next courses and even though I know it's not gonna be easy, I know, Matt will be able to explain it in a way that we all understand it. Happy coding!!
My journey with SheCodes has been almost unbelievable. When I first started I had no idea how to read code and now I can actually look at it and understand what I'm doing. It encourages me to keep learning and to push myself into this field. The React workshop brought more challenges and surprisingly I didn't feel as lost as I thought I would. Firstly, I would like to give Mr Matt his flowers, he really made my learning journey less stressful. I started studying coding with SheCodes 3 weeks ago, and I have been very motivated especially by the curriculum. SheCodes really helped me realize how exciting and fun coding can be! I have gained skills so fast which was something I did not expect, improving this much in only 3 weeks! I loved the challenges between every lesson, it did get challenging but with determination and grit I managed to do it!. I am so happy that I joined SheCodes and very much eager to continue upskilling myself!

Through SheCodes Basics, I was able to learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The lessons were beginner-friendly and the instructor Matt would take his time to explain each aspect in order for us to understand their importance. Now, I am able to see how the three languages can work harmoniously with one another to ensure a great user experience.
