I love how Matt teaches by first showing how to do one or two simple steps and immediately afterwards, the student can practice. The homework requirements were great to keep me on track and apply everything I learned that week to test whether I truly did understand what was being taught. I highly recommend this workshop!

For the longest time I have wanted to get into coding but I was a bit intimidated and thought that I needed a formal IT degree in order for me to understand or to get started. I am 25 and a stay at home mom. I came across SheCodes on a social media platform. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take a lot of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have now completed the plus course, I truly feel I have found a love for coding and am excited for the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I can't wait to see what's to come after this. I really enjoyed doing this coding course. I want to appreciate Matthieu Delac and SheCodes team for creating a well structured course. The learning process was amazing and i enjoyed every step of the course. Learning coding has been difficult however, SheCodes made it easier.
Had a lot of fun building the React Weather App. I could understand everything Matt explained, but I definitely need more practice to really remember the code and to know when to use which code.
After being totally mesmerised by the free one-hour introduction session by Matt, which I curiously signed up for, I am SO glad that I took the leap and enrolled in the SheCodes Basics course. It has ignited an excitement in me for the future of my career that I haven't felt in a long time! The course is also laid out and presented in an incredible way; super informative but also succinct and not overloading at all, and with me being a visual learner, I feel like I was really able to absorb everything that was demonstrated in the tutorial videos. SheCodes Basics was soooo fun! I found it very interesting how HTML elements and javascript works. Exploring all CSS options, color palettes and gradients was super fun playing around with the colors and refreshing the page to see what it looks like! I would totally recommend SheCodes to all women who work with developers and who wants to learn how to create web pages. I am 💯 keen on learning more & participating on the monthly challenges! 🤓 SheCodes has really opened a whole new world for me! This was really great! I'm very visual so getting to really customize the app was fun. Some of the features took me almost all day to figure out sometimes but ultimately it worked! And as usual, Matt is a great instructor. It's great to have the individual sections and build on each.

This responsive add-on class was such a pleasure to complete. It gave me the extra experience I needed in responsive design and has helped me build my portfolio. It was one of the easier classes to follow that allowed for a little more creativity in your design. Using Matt's Figma design also gave me experience using that design tool as a developer. This has been one of my favorite add-on classes. I would definitely recommend this add-on class.
Shecodes Responsive workshop is such an amazing workshop! Matt is an excellent teacher and this was exactly what I was looking for: a combination of hands-on exercises and easy-to-understand teaching. The 3-week course is the perfect introduction to coding. This was a great start to my journey of implementing my own designs. I would absolutely recommend to anyone in design.
Thanks so much Matt and the whole team! I had an incredible time learning a new skill. I was very afraid to start at first, but after taking a couple of lessons, I knew right away that I could take it easy. All lessons are explained in simple and accessible language, followed by assignments that, even without a lot of memorizing the theory, help you easily learn the material you've learned. I am one hundred percent sure I will recommend SheCodes to all my friends who want to tie their lives to programming!

I liked the course a lot. In a short time, it gives a lot of information to start understanding how things work in coding. Matt is very clear in his explanation and I liked the fact that after every video there was a small challenge to use right away what you had just learned.

I have been so happy with my SheCodes experience. I was most worried about learning React but Matt made it so easy to follow and understand. I liked building another weather app because it really shows you the differences between JS and React.

Really enjoyed the three week basics course. The course has given me a nice introduction to coding and allowed me to decide whether coding was something I wanted to continue with - without committing to spending a small fortune on something I wasn't initially sure about. The classes were straight-forward, and I love having the solutions tab to show me what I could have done better (or a different perspective on how to complete the challenges). The only negative is that I thought my final project would be checked before certificates were processed, this doesn't appear to be the case - you could literally copy and paste your project from Matt and still 'qualify'.
I'm super excited, SheCodes is the best coding workshop! SheCodes lessons are easy to understand and fun to learn. I especially enjoyed watching how Matt solved the problems he encountered along the way and this made the lessons more personal and built my confidence. The structured lessons and round-the-clock support from the SheCodes team makes me recommend SheCodes workshop as my favorite coding training so far.

As a homeschool mom of 2 I wasn't sure if I would have the time to try to learn to code. I've been out of college and the workforce for a few years now and I looked at a handful of possible bootcamps to try. I'm so glad I went with SheCodes. Not only is it perfect for people who need to do lessons at random, odd hours, but the content is great and easy to understand. Matt is seriously the best instructor I've come across so far in this field.
