I enjoyed my introduction to the coding-world at SheCodes. It has been challenging but also a lot of fun. The program is easy to follow and the instructor Matt makes the lessons enjoyable. I come from a background in the healthcare system and therefore coding was intimidating at first. But i'm amazed at how much i've learned in such a short period of time. I'm excited to learn more and hopefully make this into an IT-career in the near future.
I was feeling nervous about applying to jobs, but SheCodes Next gave me a great start for the process. Matt explained in depth what employers are looking for and how to best present portfolios and resumes.
You learn so much in a small chunk of time due to Matt's amazing teaching ability. Each lesson is so fun to work through!
With this course, everything became clearer. Matt gave a thorough dive into developing a responsive website with simple, smart, repetitive steps.

React! React!! React!!! I'm never using regular html and css for front end. React is so challenging and fun. The SheCodes Plus workshop was tough at times, but by the end I received a much better understanding with coding especially JavaScript. Plus, I can say I have a functioning weather app! I took SheCodes Basic because I had 0 knowledge of the coding world and I wanted (want) to start a job in this career. I did some research also by myself but in my opinion, you always need someone that teaches you the basics in the right order! SheCodes is perfect if you do not know where and how to start navigating the world of coding! It is very practical and I appreciated the clear and practical explanations of Matt
The course strike the perfect balance between being simulating, challenging, and fun. We used APIs and git version control for the final project, deepened our HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge, and hosted the project on Netlify. If you have a question, just wait for a bit; Matt is probably going to answer it in the next video 😄. Overall, I enjoyed every second of it.

I've enjoyed to learn new things, I'll be honest, the part of Javascript was not as easy as I was thinking. It's slow me down a little with the course since I've to repeat few time the same lesson, but Matt was explaining everything step by step, so I was just keep following his instructions and keep trying again. And the end I did my weather app very clean and simple without too much things to complicated my codings. But overall I enjoyed the course.
A few months ago I took a leap of faith and joined SheCodes foundation. I had the opportunity of creating a web page from scratch, this has improved my skills in HTML, CSS, JS and VS Code. In a short period of time I am astonished by all the knowledge I have acquired in the workshop. I am looking forward to creating more advanced projects. SheCodes is one of the best useful platforms to learn coding as a beginner with Matt being a great teacher, he made me fall in love with coding as well as to pursue my career in Software Engineering as a full stack developer.
This workshop is challenging, yet fulfilling at the same time. Learning to code when you've never even known how a website is created is very interesting. Matt's videos are very informative and enjoyable. They are short and to the point so you always stay engaged. The support on Slack is awesome. You promptly get all the info you need. Thank you for this exciting 4-week workshop for women - SheCodes Responsive - where I could build my own responsive website-portfolio using new-gaind knowledge of creating multiple pages static sites, flex box, responsive grids, images, navigation and testing, live server and media queries. And at the end I did my site SEO friendly. It's cool! ✌ Matt is a very talented instructor and teacher! He can explain complicated topics in a very clear and simple way. And his perfectionism is a big plus! And it's very nice that the whole SheCodes team understands that women are always busy and gives them enough support, time and extensions to solve training challenges and create their projects.

I have taken quite a number of courses but struggled with understanding and completing them. With SheCodes I had a different experience, our Tutor Matt made it so easy to understand all the concepts and I never had to battle with imposter syndrome like I did in the previous courses I took. I had a feeling I could understand all the concepts and I did, let’s not even talk about the lovely choice of colors that the SheCodes website has that is alluring and just makes you always want to visit at the thought of it. I have been in the design field for almost 15 years. I needed to expand my knowledge of HTML, CSS, & JavaScript, as I am working towards being a UI designer, but I was so intimidated to learn how to code. I attended the free 60-minute class, and surprisingly it seemed pretty simple with how Matt explained everything. I was shocked and excited at how quickly I caught on with everything in the basics course. This course has definitely boosted my confidence! Now I really enjoy coding with HTML, CSS, & JavaScript. I can't wait to learn more.

This course is so interesting and funny. Many hucks, useful techniques, and information. I especially like that in practical videos, Matt can make a mistake, fix it, and say that it`s normal. I think it`s important to understand that you can fix your mistakes and that you're not the only one who can make them.

It is hard to put in to words how proud I feel writing this. I knew it would be difficult and there were definitely times I didn't think I'd make it to the end, but I did! Matt and his team have set these courses up so well, if you have to take a break or need to extend your courses due to life events, you can easily do that. SheCodes Plus was a bit more challenging but it was so much fun to do all the homeworks and learn so much. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher other than Matt. He's the best.
Matt has simplified everything such that you understand even if you've never coded or seen code in your life. I used to be scared and hesitant to get into tech or better yet to learn coding and now l have to be forced to leave my workspace. I just got addicted to code😊😊😊. As for the SheCodes team, they are eager to assist anytime of day on Slack in case you get stuck- l appreciate all your help!
It was pretty easy and straightforward plus Matt knows how to adequately explain to beginners to grasp the concept at the first trial and also not time-consuming.

Learning react is very crucial for anyone who wants to work as a front end developer and Shecode's react course is great for learning it. It was a bit challenging but I could get answer to all my problems by watching videos and doing homework again. She Codes PLUS was so challenging yet, so rewarding. What a great way to learn, be creative and deep diving into the foundational heart of UI coding. when I started on SheCodes, I was very nervous and scared but after I started learning and doing the challenges, I became very excited about the whole process because Matt made learning fun and, easy to understand. I am positive now that this is what I was made to do.
I consider myself an Excel geek. As an accountant, I use MS Excel on a daily basis, and time and time again, I am amazed by its powerful capabilities. I recently began exploring Excel's VBA, which led me to come across an article about coding, then eventually to SheCodes. Although I know that VBA and coding are far from being similar, attending the free session hosted by Matt further fueled my interest. And now, just after a couple of weeks, I completed the basic coding program and enjoyed every bit of it. Learning coding is something I will never regret, and I wish I had embarked on it sooner. I am looking forward to diving deeper into it in the weeks to come. I thank Matt and the SheCodes Team for imparting their knowledge.
