I have learned so much with SheCodes. Starting out, I had no idea what to expect but as I dove in deeper engaging in the challenges and lessons, I was hooked on learning how everything worked. From how web pages are built to the interactions when the pages are actually being used. Matt does an incredible great job at teaching the course and I highly recommend to anyone interested in diving in the coding world.
An amazing course! I went into it a little bit nervous at all the information I expected I needed to learn and remember, however, Matt explained everything in such a way that it was easy to understand. All the projects were fun to do, especially the final one! Absolutely recommend this course to anyone interested in coding!

I've really enjoyed my journey so far with SheCodes, from the free introductory workshop allowing me to get an idea of what coding actually was, to now completing my basics workshop it's been great. I've enjoyed the SheCodes basics course way more than I expected - so much so that I plan to upgrade to pro! Matt is a great teacher and I love the format of short videos with embedded challenges. It's so much easier to focus and to practise skills straight away rather than watching long videos and trying to remember everything. Would highly recommend.
This was highly challenging for me, but Matt does a fantastic job explaining everything so well. Also, it felt like a support group because Matt would say " I know, I know, React is hard when it's your first time coming across it", so that was comforting. Great workshop; I really appreciated how Matt broke down all the concepts into more digestible "bits". I also liked the structure of the challenges and the way he provided several alternatives for various desired design "outcomes". SheCodes is an amazing place to start learning code. It is immersive, whilst Matt explains in detail how each piece of code interacts with each other and how it affects the end project. The tidbit sectioning in each week's work makes it easy to follow and allows you to set your own pace.

My name is Mahya, and I come from an MBA background. I have completed the foundation program, and it was really flexible for me as a busy woman! Matt is a wonderful teacher, and the program is well designed. After watching short videos, there are challenges that helped me to learn better. I always wanted to learn to code, but thought it would be too complex and time-consuming. But this program changed my perception about coding. I would like to appreciate sheCodes team for their efforts in providing the program and supporting learners like me.
I completed this add-on workshop in 3 days... some really useful hints and a great opportunity to put into practise again what I'd learnt in the original basics course. I liked how it was paced and encouraged you to build each part of your project after each of Matt's demos, so you weren't left with the entire thing to produce at the end! I loved this program! I was very intimated to begin coding with no experience, but Matt explained everything perfectly! Very cool! I really enjoyed creating a new web page, using new css techniques. Matt, as always, explains it very well. I was able to develop my skills while creating my web page by following his explanations. For the final result, I only needed to add a few details. It was a lot of new content, but I believe that with practice, it will become easier. :)
The SheCodes Plus workshop transitioned smoothly from the previous Basics workshop, continuing to teach with the same level of attention to detail and with the same focus on building from each previous lesson into the next. I enjoyed the challenge of this course to keep learning and applying new techniques, and my level of confidence in coding has grown significantly with this second SheCodes workshop. In addition to practising the fundamentals of writing HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the workshop also taught new skills, such as how to integrate APIs into an app for rapid retrieval of data, how to use GitHub, how to use a hosting service, and how to apply Bootstrap formatting. I've learned a lot, I intend to use my new skills to try to build some small projects which I've started to plan out, and I'm already looking forward to starting the next workshop!
It was a pleasure to deepen my knowledge in JS, CSS, and HTML following Matt's steps. The lessons are well-organized and easy to understand.
As with the Basic and Basic Add-On courses, It was super fun and I learned a lot, Matt's videos were very well done and easy to understand, while still leaving enough of a challenge for you to problem solve and learn!! In a stressful and now and then challenging everyday life, I'm glad to have found Matt & thus SheCodes & his team - or rather the advertising has found me through the algorhythm on Instagram ;) - so this suggests that my interests match. The course is wonderfully designed - and although I've had touch points with the basics before, I'm very happy with the " bite-sized" lessons and follow-up mini-exercises and weekly tasks.
