It was very interesting learning since this is my very first time of learning python consistently. Great explanations from Matt which was very practical in finishing the last project. This was challenging to say the least. But Matt does go over what you've previously learned or reviews what you should already know at this point. There's lots of new codes, tasks, and other fun stuff. I like the fact that there are many solutions to the challenges including the homework. It's an amazing course! After teaching myself how to create a website using WordPress and Divi, I discovered that I really enjoyed it and was eager to learn more, possibly even making it my profession. I then started looking for a suitable course that I could follow from home. I quickly came across SheCodes, and it immediately appealed to me. This was a nice easy-to-follow course in bite-size pieces, with which you slowly but surely build up the different skills needed to put together a page at the end of each week. You then put everything that you have learnt in the course in a final project at the end, which is very satisfying. Python is such a useful language to know. I've always really enjoyed learning from Matt and how he has SheCodes set up with videos and challenges. I wish more had been explained in certain areas. After exclaiming that scope and functions are one of the hardest concepts, I feel like it wasn't explained super thoroughly.

I signed up for the Free Coding Class and, because of it, decided to start with the Basics. The structure of SheCodes Basics is well thought and engaging. Free coding tools are provided as well as plenty study material alongside Matt's clear and concise lessons. I confess to have lost track of time quite often during the final project but it was time worth spending - and it was fun! I am definitely up for a Challenge next. And you? 🙂
The step by step structure of the courses make it easy to follow and digest. The week deadlines allow for flexibility so you can learn at whatever pace you find comfortable and Matt is a great teacher who explains each section thoroughly.
