This Workshop has been challenging, I almost thought I would give him coupled with the many challenges I faced. It was tough but Matt made the sessions fun and interesting. So many times I had to take long walks, and sometimes I had to take days off, but I realized every time I completed a week and submitted the Challenges, I felt this sense of fulfillment and achievement at the same time. the way Matt went through each week was like a refresher course which was very helpful. I am so grateful for this opportunity and I do not take it lightly.
I really enjoyed this basic course. It was very fun and beginner friendly. I really liked the assessments we had along the way as they helped us to apply our knowledge and identify any areas of weakness. I would highly recommend this workshop to absolutely anyone who is interested in pursuing coding as a career or even as a hobby. This was an excellent course that was chocked full of really easy to understand modules. As someone who knew nothing about coding before starting this, I really appreciated the style of the videos, the online support, and the opportunity to come away with solid coding knowledge. Matt's passion for what he does shines through and really helps to get you excited about coding, while also making you feel like it's not rocket science and there are very logical steps to achieving the type of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc that you want.
I like it a lot, very awesome! I have already some knowledge with the basic coding before I registered for SheCodes, I had a big fear that it's gonna be such wast of time, but I was totally wrong, the course was super fun, and Matt had explain everything in a very simple way, makes me believe that I can do it. also my whole life I was nurse and working in Hospitals. I never had work or learn anything about coding before last year, when I decided to give it a chance, and after maybe one or two months I gave up. I have really enjoyed this course! I always thought I would never be able to code, since I have never been particularly good in maths or scientific subjects. However, Matt has taught us that there's no need to be good in these disciplines to learn how to code. And he was right! I am looking forward to seeing where this journey will take me next :)

Learning React was challenging but the dopamine rush that you get when you fix those silly little mistakes such as forgetting to capitalize something or forgetting a comma, and then suddenly your app looks awesome and everything works the way you intended is so so so great! I will keep learning React because as Matt said, the best way to learn is to keep practicing it until everything makes sense.
SheCodes Basic was an incredible learning experience and a very good introduction to coding. The 3-week coding workshop helped me to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, in a fun and interactive way, with practical challenges (almost after every new lesson) and weekly hands-on projects. The lessons are well-structured, mainly focused on practical knowledges and examples, and easy to follow (even for beginners like me); the online platform is user-friendly; the support system is great (you have access, via Slack, to mentors and a community of other students) and Matt does a wonderful job teaching. Therefore, I highly recommend SheCodes Basic to anyone looking to explore the world of coding, or to those who are in the process of changing their career.

The time flew and I finished my 8th Workshop. I should say that React was the hardest Workshop, but thanks to the SheCodes Team, the colleagues in Slack who answered all my questions and more, and of course Matt who explained really well, the end was really nice to learn. For someone without any Tech background, almost 40 years old, I could say that I recommend SheCodes for all the women who want to have all the ground knowledge about Front End. Intense time! Definately well spent though. Good balance between new knowledge & the final project. The fact that you can follow Matt's workflow while bulding your own portfolio helped me a lot.
