Really tough learning how to build the weather app in React (after building it in vanilla HTML and JS), but as usual, Matt went through everything in great detail and I learnt a lot in the end. Thank you!

SheCode plus was a wholesome different level where I learnt advanced page animation techniques with JavaScript functions, integrating APIs into code, creating project setup (Git ,GitHub...etc.). I enjoyed the workshops particularly due to the engaging and interactive learning by Matt and 24 hour technical assistance. The practical challenges also helped a lot. I am really happy with how far I have come in my coding journey, thanks to SheCodes.

The AI Add-on workshop is really fun! I created a recipe AI generated website which I really enjoyed doing! I am now comfortable with the codes especially in CSS. Thank you Matt, for empowering many women, including myself, in our entry into the tech field. You are a great teacher! Of all coding programs out there, this is the most special and unique one. JavaScript was the most challenging to learn, but I still learned it better here, than from anyone else. Soon, I look forward to being paid to build landing pages.

Wow! This was my favorite @SheCodes.io project so far! It seemed like a daunting task at the beginning, but step-by-step it started coming together. I enjoyed choosing the best word-choice, images, song lyrics, music videos, and element styling for each section. My confidence as a new coder (55 days total) continues to grow especially since overall things moved along smoothly for me. When I did come across a temporary hurdle, I explored options until I found a solution that worked. Thank you to @Matthieu Delac and his team for providing well-structured lessons and support if students need it. Now, moving on to the REACT workshop!
SheCodes Plus was definitely way more challenging than SheCodes Basics and basics add-on. However, thanks to Matt's detailed explanation of each step, the learner doesn't feel lost or out of place.

I am a Full Time Registered Nurse at the bedside that has been looking for an alternate career path. I decided to dip my toes into the tech world with SheCodes because it let me do just that without committing to an entire 8-24 month long commitment at a formal university; and I am so glad I did it because I'm learning how much projects matter more than an institution name and 4 year programs! I also love that they offer shorter workshops to try out coding before committing to a larger investment, which many alternatives require of prospective students without them even having tried coding. The learning segments are easy to digest, homework and challenges are very straight forward and they teach you real life ways to find help before reaching out to their technical support. It is very organized and easy to follow. All in all, I have to say I'm impressed. I've only done the 3 week workshop and already have a project that I can put on my portfolio and that has given me the confidence to proceed with the SheCodes Max. Responsive, a journey and a half! Definitely kept my interest as I have always wanted to get more into the design of a website and responsive images and media on different screens. I had a lot of fun creating and learning, Matt and the team were very helpful. A step up from the Plus workshops but worth the work!
My coding journey with SheCodes continues to be a positive experience. Matt Delac's instructional videos are direct and concise showing each step with clear directions and explanations. The organization of the course, all the supportive materials and access to SheCodes Athena-AI coding assistant are the tools I use to learn and write my code. I know I can return to the lessons for clarification when needed. I appreciate Matt's acknowledgement that the material can be challenging to understand. He demonstrates that if the code doesn't work the first time, don't panic, just try to use the clues and find where it breaks and try again. He always offers encouragement and injects a positive spirit into the process by telling us to have fun with what we are learning. I know that may seem like a minor detail but it creates a positive mindset. I want to take what I've learned and try out some other APIs. I found one about coffee drinks and now I want to play with the API to create an app for those who love coffee. Now I'm looking forward to my next workshop. Thank you to everyone at SheCodes.

Wow! This was a tough few weeks! React is definitely a steep learning curve, but so worth it when you come out on the other side. I can definitely say it would have been impossible for me to have learnt React without the well structured, educational videos, challenges and homework by Shecodes and Matt! So grateful and proud of what I've learnt!

Two and a half years ago, I moved from Buenos Aires to Spain, eager to continue my career in surgery as a Surgical Instrument Technician. At the beginning of the course, I thought API integration was a very big deal but thanks to Matt and SheCodes for the support. JavaScript is wide but I am getting there.🥳🥳
