I came across SheCodes online and as someone who has quite basic computer skills I immediately loved Matt's teaching style. I have gone from knowing next to nothing about coding to absolutely loving learning new skills and creating something I can now share with others. I am looking forward to trying the next course, learning more and seeing where this journey takes me.
SheCodes has definitely made me more confident in coding and also made me fall in love with it! Matt's classes are easy to follow and the challenges are fun and tricky.
Loved every bit of it, no matter how many times I was staring at my screen thinking "Why is this not working?" just to realize that I have misplaced a ";" or other symbol, so yeah it is the little details that counts the most. Thankfully with all the support I got, I managed to get my projects up and running. Making mistakes was the best thing ever, for I realized that sometimes all you need to do is read your code and do some research, the answer is most of the time hidden in plain sight. If you have any second thoughts" don`t", it`s an amazing journey that might lead you to a different career path, or just have fun with coding. Looking forward for other workshops. Thank you SheCodes community, for making this happen.
During the last year, I decided to learn some coding and I came across with SheCodes. I started with SheCodes Basics but then I had so much fun that I decided to continue with SheCodes Plus and React. It really changed my way of looking at websites and now I am enjoying building my small projects. Thank you, Matt, and the whole SheCodes Team for creating this amazing platform!

Coding has always seemed so daunting but I always had an interest in it. As a total beginner, this workshop was a great introduction to the world of coding and provided a step-by-step process to ensure I understood the foundations. Matt's teaching style was simple and his explanations were easy to understand. The challenges and homework assignments were engaging and achievable. Working through each lesson and discovering more new things that I could do gave me a sense of accomplishment and a desire to learn more.
The workshop was amazing. I really enjoyed seeing my work come to life. Loved having the slack chat at my fingertips every time I found myself stuck. The coders there helped me very quickly and so did other students. Matt's teaching made it easy to understand and loved the detail and shortcuts he gave. I would recommend this workshop to all women who are interested in coding.

Just finished SheCodes Basics and I'm super excited! It's way different from what I've experienced at university. Here, it's all about practical stuff rather than just theory. I learned more here than I did in three years at university! Matt makes even the complex things seem simple. Plus, the community is super supportive. I'm enrolling in the next SheCodes Plus workshop for sure. If you want to learn coding in a fun, hands-on way, you've gotta try SheCodes. It's a game changer.

SheCodes Foundation is simply the best platform for beginners to build knowledge and skills on coding from the scratch. The programs and schedules are very easy and flexible to work with. The instructor (Mr. Matt Delac) is a seasoned teacher. He doesn't just tell you what to do but also why you have to do it some certain way. It is indeed a life changing opportunity to begin my coding journey here with SheCodes. Right now I feel like a code guru just completing the basic class 😂😂. React was a little daunting at first but with Matt's guidance and the SheCodes community at hand, I have developed a good understanding of the basics. Thoroughly enjoyed all of the SheCodes workshops and sad that it has come to an end. Looking forward to see what else I can do with my newly developed skills.
I joined SheCodes to have a first experience in coding as recommended by some friends. Matt is an excellent professor and it's amazing to have such a strong support from the SheCodes team whenever I got stuck in coding. I also loved the other SheCodes tools such as the Radio, the Color Wheel, the Gradient Wheel, among many others. What started as curiosity has totally become a real interest in coding and I'll certainly be joining other SheCodes Workshops to improve my coding skills 👩💻
I have really learned a lot in this course despite being at a beginner level. Matt not only teaches you the basics of JavaScript, HTML and CSS, but he also teaches you throughout the course methodology so you can learn on your own once the course is over. The concepts are clear and easy to keep up with, plus the Slack community is a great support to help you when you're stuck.
WOW! That is all I can say (mostly). I have learned so much and this course forced me to learn more than I had to. I found that I was extremely curious. Matt equips you to learn and gives you the tools to search on your own. Not only that, but I found that when life got a bit hectic, I could extend my due dates. I have loved learning and coding beside all of these fantastic women!! If you are on the fence, just do it. You wont regret it!

Excellent workshop! I was very intimidated and kind of avoided this type of subject but my curiosity and the initial free workshop gave me the guts to go ahead. From the first day, I had enjoyed the content, the process, and the achievements. Yes cannot deny it, there are moments of frustration, once you get out of the challenge, the satisfaction is so big, it is all worth it! Thanks, Matt you make this course so easy and achievable. I really recommend this workshop to anyone who is curious about programming. I have tried to learn it via other platforms, but none were as easy to understand as this one. Doesn’t go in dept but helped me understand some concepts (JavaScrip) better. It’s realistic about the timeframe of each course and so Matt teaches you the things that your are most likely to use when creating a site.
Matt is a great teacher and I enjoyed a lot the small challenges and homeworks. I am impressed by how much I learned in just 3 weeks.

I still can't believe I got to this point! I feel so empowered! Up until a few months ago, I didn't even think I could learn how to code and now I am happily coding away! I still can't believe how I went through these eight weeks. SheCodes Plus was an absolute challenge, no doubt, but still, I would never have thought of making a weather forecast app from scratch. Matt's teaching method is unique and engaging that during the weeks, you never realize how much of a difficult challenge you have overcome.

I enjoyed the experience. Each course has a perfect format, not too long and not overwhelming at all. The challenges are perfect for consolidating knowledge and the final project allows you to put into practice all the topics covered. Matt's pedagogy is spot on and very understandable!
I did it! Was able to get through React, not without using my deadline extensions ahah! React is definitely more complex, but somehow it becomes more rewarding as you start to understand how it works towards the end... This was such a wonderfull journey, that is now ending. It's bittersweet, you feel acomplished but you know you don't have more courses waiting for you with Matt. Please do more courses, i will surelly be a student once again! Thank you for everything!

I'd already had some HTML and CSS knowledge and never felt ready to jump into learning more about them. But thank God I made up my mind and chose SheCodes! Matt is an awesome teacher, he takes time explaining - also it's a huge plus that I can go and learn at my own pace! I've had so much fun building the final project and really lost track of time researching for applicable codes and finetuning my project - I 100% recommend taking the course!

Coding HTML&CSS&JavaScript is my hobby. I've got some new tips on how to code appropriately in HTML & CSS & JavaScript. I installed the Prettier extension, and my code looks prettier. I join those who say that Matt is an excellent instructor. He has a gift to teach coding! :).

Finally, i complete and submit my final project (weather app) SheCodes Plus. After SheCodes Basic, SheCodes Plus being a huge change, a lot of information and tasks. It was a big deal with me especially vanilla JavaScript and API. Full of extensive information about HTML, CSS, JS. Pretty much hard and dynamic. It's a great experience with SheCodes Plus. However, SheCodes Plus taught and introduce with me that, how to dance with frustration. Thank you so much Matthieu Delac Aussaguel. You are such an enthusiastic, well organized, passionate, talented and creative instructor. Before engaging with SheCodes workshop, i had a negative impression about online courses. However, SheCodes (Matthieu) helped me out from that negative impression about online course. Now, I'm more passionate to do some other online course. Thanks again to Matt. This is the fourth month of learning how to code and I've built a solid front-end foundation with SheCodes Intro, Plus, and Responsive courses. Thank you so much for the ongoing support from the SheCodes team and our instructor, Matt, and for providing well-structured courses and coding challenges. During the last 5 weeks I've been learning how to make websites responsive, so that the user experience would be seamless no matter what device a user is on. I finished the first iteration of my personal website(something I've been trying to do for a while). Every time I thought I'm done, I would find more things to add/fix. I can't wait to start learning React next week!
SheCodes is a very good online learning platform. I learned coding about ten years ago during my bachelor, but since I never used and practiced it afterwards, it felt like learning from zero again. The way Matt explains things is very fun yet understandable. Can't wait to continue my journey to shecodes plus!

I actually came across Matt's free coding webinar as an advertisement on Instagram after a very long week at work. It was serendipitous as I had been worrying about my career and my lack of 'practical' future-ready skills. I really like Matt's pedagogy - his lessons are very structured and he makes coding jargon simple and relatable. I honestly did not know what to expect going into the workshop, but I am pleasantly surprised by how much I have learned over such a short period of time. It has inspired me to think about alternative career paths, and I'm looking forward to joining more workshops with SheCodes.
Overall extremely positive experience. I chose to attend SheCodes Basic because I needed a new challenge in my life, something that would spark my curiosity and exercise my creative and logical sides. Matt made the material fun and pushed us all to do better. Definitely would recommend it to anyone interested in coding workshops. I had zero knowledge in coding but had always been very interested. Since I'm in Law it's not usual to have access to any kind of class that would help me get to know this area better but now I can say that I at least know the basics and would be very much interested in continuing with other SheCodes workshops ! I have LOVED doing this course and it felt like a natural continuation of the skills learned in the first two courses. Joined the 3 week workshop in sole intention to know what is coding all about and if I can get an idea of what these coders actually do😉!!But to my surprise ,Matt's course has designed the classes and exercises,challenges and homework in such a organized,easy and user friendly format that an avid amateur like me who knows nothing about coding or computer functions or computer languages was able to create a nice and attractive webpage at the end of workshop😜!! I'd been thinking about taking a coding class for a long time, but it didn't know how to start. I saw ad for SheCodes on Facebook and I decided to give it a chance. Matt is great teacher and I really enjoyed first course!
Coding with SheCodes was a great experience in my life and Matt was one of best teachers I've ever had. As Matt always says, I really enjoys every second I spend learn coding and solve every session's challenges. The course was well-organized and clear and I really love it.
When I first started SheCodes, I didn't have a lot of confidence in myself that I would enjoy or understand the basics of coding. It turns out, all I needed was a positive mentor and teacher. Matt always emphasized that coding was fun and attainable during his lessons. When you make a mistake, it's okay, just try again. This workshop really made me understand CSS and HTML. I was so excited that by the final weeks I could predict what was going to happen next and my list of things that I needed to fix aligned with Matt's! Really important since everything is mobile-first these days!

It's been a few years since I've used code to build a website and SheCodes has been great for reminding me of the basics and challenging me to develop my skills further. Matt is explaining why things work (or don't) as well what guiding you through what to do. The short exercises are great for layering up your knowledge.
I love SheCodes! Matt's teaching style fit me well and the structure of the classes helped me stay accountable on my learning journey. I've tried other courses but had to take a break from them because they were overwhelming with information overload. I love how SheCodes teaches you what you have to know *at this level* so that you can practice and apply it. I learned some great HTML and CSS that I wish I learned in other classes, and picked up the basics of Javascript in last week! The final project was also really fun! I highly recommend SheCodes!
Through this SheCodes workshop, I learnt how to make websites that are both responsive and SEO-friendly. I enjoyed the process of being able to come up with my own portfolio design on Figma to then making it come alive using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. I now have the confidence that I need to build more responsive websites in the future, and I hope to use these new skills hand in hand with my other creative skills and interests.
