Excellent workshop; I explored multiple bootcamps before going with SheCodes, and I have no regrets. I love SheCodes! I love learning all the new aspects of becoming a Software Engineer and I'm hoping I can get a job in the field, once I have completed the courses. Its so easy to learn with Matt's great teaching videos, answering questions I'm thinking of without having to ask! He knows what hes doing! It's so easy to learn and you can do it all in your own time. If you want to learn how to code, this is the way to go. I have looked at so many courses, which I found to be confusing. And although there are some things I get frustrated with when coding, Matt and the team are always there to help.
SheCodes has been a great introduction into the world of coding! I've always been interested but never knew where or how to get started. Matt and the team built a great community and made it so easy to step into the world of coding - I will definitely be enrolling in further classes to continue building onto my newly learned knowledge!
SheCodesPlus opens a new world for bigenners. In this workshop you can learn more advance css and javascript, how you can use Apis to get useful data and you learn about git and hosting. Final Project shows how you can build an useful app with the workshops content. Matt explains everything very good but It is very important to practice what matt teaches. With this workshop you can completely build practical websites.
It has been an interesting workshop,I have learnt a lot in a short while.This is the first coding workshop I have completed due to the structure of the course and also Matt's teaching method. I also love the fact that you can always ask for help on Slack.It was also easy for me considering that I work part time and have three kids. I am excited to start SheCodes Responsive!
SheCodes Plus workshop deepened my understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I must admit the Javascript part was quite challenging while learning about APIs, but once you understand it and see how powerful it is, you get excited and want to learn more. I really liked how well-structured the workshop is, because it allowed me to keep up, even tho I work a full-time job and have a busy schedule. Thank you Matt and SheCodes team for this experience!

Wow...I never imagined that I would learn how to code so quickly! I hated it when I was a kid in school (I couldn't understand it lol), but this time around I really enjoyed learning it from start to finish. I am amazed at how much fun I had learning, even when it was challenging (the SheCodes radio was a lifesaver lol). I am so glad I stumbled upon the ad for SheCodes on Instagram. Matt is an excellent teacher and the resources available are so helpful! I am so very much looking forward to SheCodes Plus and where this knowledge will take me next. If you're on the fence about this, don't be. Just go for it!
SheCodes PLUS definitely deepened my understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. As I powered through the challenges and homework, I felt grateful for Matt's instruction. Great workshop! There are challenges to get you to practice and work through the material consistently. SheCodesPlus culminates in one big project that Matt helps you through step by step, while giving you the space to bring your own creativity to the table. Can't wait for React!
I went into this workshop with what was probably negative coding knowledge. I finished Basics in about a week and a half, and I loved it! Matt explains everything in a way that is easy to understand, and if that's not the case for you, there is SO much support from the community! I'm excited to work up to my SheCodes Plus course!
This course was great! Very fun to learn and easy to follow along to Matt's teachings. He made it a breeze to pick up the topics and apply them with each lesson. The help from the staff and fellow shecoders was also invaluable. SheCodes Basics sounds exactly like it is, a basic introduction into web development. Finally finished the last course offered by SheCodes! REACT was a super fun course where I have learned a lot. It had it's tricky moments but I certainly enjoyed every step of it. Alongside the help from Matt, the team, as well as other students, I have managed to learn a lot. I never thought I would be able to develop both an weather app AND a dictionary app. This was a really fun trajectory!
Once I had completed SheCodes Basics, I was so excited to start SheCodes Pro! It has been a great course with a big focus on front-end development and API integration. I have learned a lot along the way and I am proud of what I have been able to create with these courses. I am looking forward to the SheCodes Responsive and SheCodes React. Thank you, Matt!

Coding is something I've dreamed of doing since my awesome dad let me see the first Matrix movie as a little girl. I always knew I had it in me but the path to get there seemed daunting. I had tried to teach myself but without a good teacher and organized lesson plan, I didn't make it very far. I liked the fact that the course had structure and deadlines. Really helpful in making sure I kept up with the course. The support team was brilliant and amazing at what they do. I did find bits of it slow or tedious - but I actually enjoyed the final project. I will be continuing on to the next course. would recommend for complete beginners. the way Matt talks you through step by step really helps you focus. Would definitely need more time to practise and internalise but like he said...google things you don't understand..watch more videos/youtube etc to help. thanks team SheCodes

3 months ago I didn't even know how to write a single line of HTML and now I've created 4 projects with SheCodes! I just turned 42- you are never to old to start something new. Matt and the SheCodes team are absolutely amazing. This is unlike any other bootcamp or workshop you may have tried before. The video's are structured in a way that anyone can learn. The community of teaching assistants Slack and other students are always there to help with any questions. The timing of the workshops can be done around any schedule - work, school kids if you have 15 minutes you have time for SheCodes. Thank you to Matt and the entire team for helping pursue new career opportunities.
Learning how to code had been on my list for a while now. I had tried it already in the past but somehow didn't feel motivated to continue. Everything changed when I discovered the SheCodes Workshops. I felt motivated and deeply into programming from the first moment. Matt manages to teach in a straightforward and practical way, which makes learning easy and fun. Looking forward to continuing my journey in programming with SheCodes!

I can't tell you how awesome SheCodes is, You should enroll workshops then you'll know what am I talking about. if you wanna start front-end development you've found the right place. Matt teaches you as well as possible, It's gonna be a fun journey and also full of learning. Along side the lessons you have access to a wonderful support team that you can ask your questions and as soon as possible you end up finding your way
After years of debating what kind of coding course would be right for me, I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with SheCodes. I am extremely impressed by how thorough, clear, and fun Matt makes all of the lessons - I genuinely look forward to watching the next lesson and tackling something new. The structure of the course provides a wonderful balance between learning a little bit in each lesson but also moving through an entire chapter of content each week. I never feel overwhelmed with how much I'm learning in each lesson, and yet by the end of the week I feel accomplished and like I've covered some good ground. I couldn't recommend this course enough for those who are feeling on the fence about learning code. I didn't think the experience of learning code could be so fun, and I think you'll find the same thing to be true!
SheCodes Basics is a very excellent beginning step towards the world of tech. It was a very organized workshop. The material and projects were fun to work on, and I appreciate how helpful and informative Matt was. I'm a 23-year-old college 'dropout' who was lost about the career I wanted to pursue in my future. After discovering what computer programming really consisted of, and starting to learn it by myself, I found SheCodes and I am so thankful that I did. SheCodes was a fun way to learn a useful skill! The deadlines are helpful to keep on track, but you're also able to work ahead if you like or get an extension if need be. The course is broken up into manageable mini-lessons, all of which are clean and concise. I love that Matt encourages searching for solutions yourself and also teaches how to look for answers on Google. I feel like I accomplished a goal and had the chance to be creative! Thank you for a great experience and a jumping-off point for learning more coding skills!
I cannot believe how far I've come in just three weeks of SheCodes Basics! Matt's video tutorials are so thorough, and the homework blends in seamlessly with the lesson of the week. This has been such a great introduction to coding and I am so excited to continue my journey!
I honestly thought coding would involve some combination of complex physics and math but after I attended the workshop, I thought differently. I got curious and signed up for SheCodes Basics and I was blown away by how fun coding could be. I’m still wondering how it all happened. I started to code and I cannot believe it 🙈. It’s hard, I’m struggling sometimes, it’s not easy. But everything comes with practice! That’s why (after learning JS a little bit more on my own, just to understand it better) I’m starting with react course ❤️. And I’m so curious and excited about the React🤩. So, simply, a very Big THANK U Matt Delac, for creating such a great, special She-platform 🙌❤️. It's the best course ever! Especially for women with full-time work like me. I reccomend a lot ❤️. Hopefully, in a few months, I'm gonna looking for a dream job 🙈.
The Plus workshop was fun, but also challenging at times. However, whenever you run into a problem you can always count on Matt's colleagues or other students to patiently look into it and explain what can be done better. All in all, it was a great experience and I learned a lot, so I would definitely recommend!
The Basics workshop was so much fun! Thank you, SheCodes, for making coding fun to learn and accessible. The material is well-organized and strikes just the right balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. I especially appreciate Matt's knack as a teacher 1) to frame the concepts in clear and memorable terms, 2) to pace how quickly new material gets introduced and digested, and 3) to tailor explanations pragmatically to what we need to know yet without dumbing any of it down merely because we're neophytes. I highly recommend this workshop to beginners with no prior coding knowledge.
I've had so much fun doing this workshop so far! I am currently working as a nurse and had absolutely no knowledge of coding or web development before this workshop. Matt is an excellent instructor! I do love these courses, but again, I would have had NO idea how to build this website without following along with Matt step-by-step. I'm not sure how I'll be able to utilize this course for getting a job in the future, despite having a portfolio (that again, I would have never been able to build if I didn't just follow along). Hoping the React course provides more confidence in the SheCodes curriculum.

I come from a health care background looking to transition to the digital and technological world. I saw many opportunities for bootcamps, self-paced studies, and other coding resources but what I loved about SheCodes is that it gave me structure. I am well capable of learning on my own, but because I am so new to the industry, I didn't know where to even start. SheCodes Basic was an amazing experience. The lectures are very straightforward and filled with all the information you will need to succeed in completing all the lesson challenges and final project. The video lectures never got too long and monotonous, Matt did a great job organizing and blocking certain topics and following it up with a hands on challenge. He also gave the solutions after each challenge with the opportunity to resubmit and correct your work if necessary. Help was always available through the Slack chat and a team member always responded within a timely manner. This course was a great introduction to solidifying my future plans. I will be continuing this journey and diving in deeper! Thank you Matt and Team for helping me understand this whole new world of computer language!

Matt is able to teach coding in an enjoyable and fun way. The short lessons make it possible to learn at your own pace and with every homework you submit you get a feeling of success. Being able to present an actual working "webpage" in the end makes it even better!

SheCodes Basics was a great beginners course! I had some prior HTML/CSS knowledge from my MySpace days, but the instructor, Matt, did a great job going a little deeper into each topic. Javascript was brand new to me, so Week 2 was a little trickier but rewarding. Matt did a good job providing a clear overview of JavaScript basics. I loved all the exercises after each lesson, and I thought the weekly homework was an awesome way to put what I learned into practice. Overall, the course was appropriately challenging and fun!
In just 3 weeks I learned about HTML, CSS, JavaScript languages and I enjoy every steps of my learning with SheCodes. All thanks to Matt Delac, a passionate and dedicated teacher, who challenged us a lot. I appreciate the help I received over the slack, timely and straight to point. Going through the workshop was pretty intense, for all the good reasons. I usually paused and asked myself how hard it would have been learning all that Java Script without an instructor who broke everything into reasonable bits that one can easily absorb and process. Matt has been such a great instructor. The Slack technical team was amazing too. Well, Slack is where I learnt from other SheCoders that it is OK to feel stuck while working on a project, and that there is no shame at SheCodes if you cannot piece everything together at a given time. We are all learning and supportive of each other. Definitely, SheCodes is the place to be for everyone willing to learn coding. Here's to, as Matt says, happy coding.

As an absolute beginner, my experience with SheCodes was great. I was afraid I would not be able to do it, that I would find it too hard or get stuck or just bored of it, but it was the opposite. Thanks to a great team that is always ready to support you and Matt's very clear lessons, I managed to get through all classes and challenges and I actually understood how much I like coding. This is of course just the beginning, but I have found something challenging and fun that I really enjoy doing. I suggest to everybody who is interested in coding to give this a try and not be afraid: it is gonna be a rewarding experience.

As someone who has always had an interest in coding and tech but never knew how to get in (and having left school!) I really thought I would never be able to learn a skill such as this. After being recommended the course through a friend I couldn't be happier with the results so far! Great teaching tools and support through the Slack community and fun challenges with the appropriate amount of 'hand holding' vs encouragement to find the answers yourself!
