Excellent workshop! I've enjoyed the challenges and building my Weather App using advanced HTML/CSS/JS, Bootsrap, AJAX, Axios, Git/GitHub, API integration and hosting on Netlify. The workshop was a bit challenging for me as a beginner, but Matt Delac's teaching style and humar made the lessons fun and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this workshop. When a person hears "Programing", they definitely think that it's something super complicated, boring, and only for a few selected. A great workshop, letting you understand all the basic features of HTML, CSS and JavaScript in only a week. Matt's explanation of the material is simple, easy to understand, and to the point. The course has a lot of practical exercises and projects. I'm grateful for this opportunity.

I love the SheCodes courses, my 3rd course now and I am not dissapointed. I love doing the learning and homework in my own time. Matt is fantastic! I've used other online courses before, but the way that Matt uses screen recordings to demonstrate the code really gives an in-person type feeling to the instruction. It makes it more personable in a way. Having Slack as a resource is a life saver, and I really did feel like I was learning along with others.

When I started learning code from books, i thought I could never learn it. But this workshop turned everything upside down! This is really good course for begginers. 50% of theories + 50% of practice = simple to understand for anybody. All lessons in English, but Matt shows everythihg at the same time telling, so it will be easy to understand even person with bad English (like me:)). Also, I want say about support and responsiveness of SheCodes team. They always answer all question, very friendly people. SheCodes React Workshop is one of the best courses I have taken. Matt guides you through lessons in a way that you can easily understand what you are doing and why. In these few weeks you learn how to build complex and advanced apps with React by starting as a complete beginner. After doing the SheCodes Basics workshop, I couldn't wait to continue on to SheCodes Plus...and it did not disappoint. It was challenging at times but Matthieu makes the solution videos very easy to understand what you're having trouble with. The moment I started Week One/Lesson One of SheCodes Basics, I was hooked! SheCodes Basic was amazing! I always wanted to learn how to code, but I always assumed that it might be too difficult. However, Matt explains in a very easy and patient way. I believe this is the best way to learn something! Time basically flew by while I was working on the assignments. So much fun! I was really glad that the lessons are in "bite sized" pieces because as a beginner there were lots of videos I had to rewatch to fully absorb the information. I really like that SheCodes Instructor Matt also shows you how to find other solutions and resources online.
This program covers a lot of information. It is both challenging and rewarding. Matt does a great job at breaking down complex material, and the team gives great feedback to my questions. The program is straight forward and teaches the skills necessary for the job.
I really enjoyed this course. I find there are a lot of courses or tutorials out there that say for complete beginners, but they are sometimes hard to follow. In part because some instructors assume you know the technical things they are doing (e.g., using keyboard shortcuts). I like the way Matt teaches subjects but I find he also teaches you how to think like a developer and learn how to find the resources that are needed to feel confident from the start.

Hello! I'm a newcomer in coding, and my specialty is far from it, too. I won the participation in the course as one of 10,000 Ukrainian women-refugees. At first I was afraid that I couldn’t understand anything from the explanation and wouldn’t be able to complete any task. However, in fact everything was brilliantly clear for me, and I gained a great experience during this 3 week and really fallen in love with coding! Matt is a great tutor! Now look at me! I’ve just completed my first page in HTML, using a JS function and some CSS tricks. It's a cool relax and a great challenge together!
