I had soo much fun learning, please if you start finish it as its worth everything. I enjoyed learning how to code and building websites , I am still learning to make sure that I do more that are more beautiful than the one I have done , but this a steping stone which was worth everything and I learned soo much. Honestly, I had so much fun! It was reiterating some things I knew from past experience, messing around on other sites, and then teaching me things I never ever imagined trying. Starting the project had me so excited to do learn even more about web development. Matt's lessons are so easy and simple to understand that it makes what seemed like impossible, more feasible to digest and apply it in real time as well.
This add-on has been a great extension to the basics course. Matt gradually builds on previous lessons and I am quite impressed with being able to produce something decent from what I've learned!
I enjoyed working with data and syncing it to the Data Visualization, but I think that for an Advanced course, maybe we could have done a more sophisticated project. The skills in Data Visualization are a pretty comprehensive start, but I was expecting more I must say. Maybe I misunderstood the course concept. Initially I thought that coding was hard to understand and I was a little bit intimidated. Python Advanced was quite challenging at times, but given the well-structured approach of Matt, amazing to master. This was a really interesting course. I used Athena a lot and I have to say it made a big difference in explaining errors step by step, or breaking down the basics even more than Matt did. Additionally, I find Python much more intuitive than JS/React so if you struggled with those courses on SheCodes, you might just find your jam with Python.
Shecodes Plus was kind of a struggle but in a good way! Coding isn't going to be easy at first but I know I'll continue to get better thanks to Matt and all of Shecodes employees!
