I would highly recommend SheCodes for anyone wanting to learn more about coding! As a beginner, I was a little overwhelmed by the thought of starting something like this, but I absolutely love it. Matt explained everything very clearly, and each task was challenging but not overwhelming. Thank you!

I recommend the workshops by all my heart! It wasn't that easy to keep up with all deadlines because of crazy Xmas time nevertheless I've managed because it was SO MUCH FUN to finally understand what it is all about 😀 Formula of the course is great and thanks to the small steps method you quickly gain necessary knowledge of tools and skills to create your own basic web page and the best part of it you can continue to learn individually thanks to Matt's tips. He is great teacher, I gradually got addicted to his voice 😀 I'd love to continue this challenging adventure of coding with SheCodes! If all online courses were created like that, I would have end by only learning stuff on the Internet 😉 Chapeau Bas!
I was not sure what to expect when I subscribed to the course. But as soon as I started I absolutely loved it. The composition of the course is great. You'll learn everything step by step and the instructions are very easy to follow. It's awesome what I've learnt in such a short time.
Loved it - so much fun! The team was always available to clarify any questions and the homeworks really help you consolidate your learnings. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed the course. Matt broke down the process into the small steps technique, which is really effective and I believe the only way to teach people and to make them love at the same time. I like to create and innovate and experience new things and of course learning languages , which method is similar to coding, ( i had to realize!). It did open up new doors for me to create. It was a struggle to actually find time to complete this workshop. Not because the workshop was difficult but because real life was mad! Lovely Daniela was always handy to give me extensions on the deadlines 😊 I loved to learn a bit more about coding, although, I must confess, it was a little frustrating to achieve a few things (like retrieving the correct time for the app 🤯 ). On the other hand, when I managed to get hold of how things worked, I did a little victory dance 😅 I would strongly recommend this workshop to everyone wanting to learn coding, even if you don't have any coding background (I'm the perfect example for that!) I had been searching for a coding course that was easy to follow and stumbled across SheCodes. I love that SheCodes allows you to work at your own pace. Managing work, family, extra curriculars and life.. I needed flexible deadlines but a course that provided structure. SheCodes provided that and more. Tutorials and challenges are efficient and challenges you to use resources outside of the class to complete your work. I feel great after completing the first course and can't wait to learn more!
Since I've heard about SheCodes I wasn't sure if it was something for me. Well, to be honest, I've had never thought about programming at all in my life - it was like love at first sight. And as quickly as it could get, I was getting more and more engaged and couldn't see myself doing something else.

When I started the coding journey I just wanted to see if it was just a little of curiosity or if it was something else. In the end I really found a passion! I loved that the program is mostly learn as you go, and you can count on people here to find some help when you are stuck. There was so many things that amazed me and really show me that coding is so powerful (like Mac said so many times in this course... and he was totally correct). Huge Thanks to Matt and the SheCodes team for making this possible. It was just wonderful to see my idea of a project became a finalized project. Looking forward to the React one!!

Really easy to learn and to take your own time to learn and expand your knowledge. I love that the program is for women, I'd have loved to have had women mentoring/ answering our questions us as well. The teachers were really prepared and replied very fast. SheCodes lessons are clear and concise and a practical way to learn a little bit of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I loved the way it's organized with small homework for every new subject.

I loved the Shecodes Plus workshop! From knowing nothing about javascript, html and css, to developing a WORKING weather app is something that I would have never thought I could have achieved in such a limited amount of time. SheCodes has made learning how to code a lot easier for me to understand and has encouraged me to keep learning how to code. What I love the most about SheCodes is the community; everyone is willing to help you solve any problem you might face while coding, which is extremely helpful!
What I love about SheCodes is that the lessons are very well explained and are the right length. So the content is still easy to understand. I also like that you sometimes have to work out a new function yourself in challenges. This deepens the understanding and the learning effect is greater.

Great intro to coding that challenges you to go beyond what is taught in the lessons. What I particularly love about SheCodes is the support on Slack and seeing other women on the same coding journey as me!

WOW! This has been quite the journey! It wasn't easy, but definitely worth it. I am so happy I upgraded from the Workshops and I can't wait to start on React too. I joined the free class and I loved it! It seemed to be built in a more accessible way than other programs. I found that I was able to truly gain a solid coding foundation with SheCodes! Matt’s instruction had documentation, videos and we had all the support needed by using Slack where we could get all of our questions answered. If I had to go back in time and the opportunity to choose from a course to learn to code I would not hesitate in choosing SheCodes again. Both Matt and the team deserve recognition for their great work in creating this course!

I absolutely loved this course! I highly recommend it: the lessons are short, each content is given step by step. At the end of each lesson we have the challenges, that allow us to verify in practice what we have learned in theory. Matt explains each content clearly, in an easy way to understand. I never lost my enthusiasm, instead I became more and more motivated to learn, and the proof of that is that I will be attending SheCodes PlusReact!

I really loved the course! You can code in no time thanks to the nice layout. The exercises really helped processing the content step by step. So no worries about it getting too complicated. I would advice this to anyone who works in the IT world.
I love this coding workshop! The videos and lessons are clear and easy to understand. I really like how it is setup. We learn a little bit, then practice, then apply everything learned that week in a larger homework. Then at the end of the course we applied everything we learned into a project. I liked that we got to decide what we wanted to do for the project.

The course is very well-structured, Matt explains everything in a very clear (and fun) way. I found every homework very challenging: you have really to think about solutions and possibilities. I love learning by doing and this is the only useful way to learn for me. I am working as an Email Marketing manager, but I’ve never attended a proper coding course before this. This coding workshop could be beneficial for all digital marketers out there (I've already recommended to some colleagues of mine). Also, it’s possible to follow the classes in a very independent way and, at the same time, working full time. Last, but not least: thanks to Daniela and Lexi for their support!

I've tried various methods of learning to code, including Youtube and free tutorial websites. Nothing really 'stuck' for me until I tried SheCodes. I absolutely LOVE the format of SheCodes. The material is laid out in a way that makes sense and easily builds on top of previous topics, and Matt is great at explaining things! SheCodes made coding click for me, and I'm exited to continue on to the next workshop! I HIGHLY recommend SheCodes to anyone who is just starting out.

I have absolutely loved every class I've taken through SheCodes. The Introduction to Coding workshop gave me the confidence to pursue SheCodes Plus, where I have strengthened my front end development skills. While challenging, it has been extremely rewarding - it's great to have built something that I can use in my personal life! I'm excited to continue my coding journey with the SheCodes React course.
I really enjoyed this little course, I learned a lot more than I thought and especially it has given me a greater interest in coding. I like how the course is divided into short videos and challenges so it makes it very achievement oriented and keeps you motivated, the time frame is very realistic and the community is lovely. Oh and I love sheCodes Radio!!! I listen to it all the time now, even outside of sheCodes, especially the 'energy station', it is the perfect playlist to work with. I can't wait to do the plus react course in the future!

I loved my introductory course with SheCodes! I have a previous background having tried to learn on my own; throughout the course, I was super amazed at how Matt was always on point with his explanation and how easy to understand everything became once he went over it. Taking this course was such a spontaneous idea for me (I thank Youtube), but I am SO happy for having taking the course. Coding is, indeed, a very creative and enjoyable process. It has definitely been challenging sometimes, but I love myself a little challenge. Now I have every intention to broaden my knowledge of coding and I'd love to do it with SheCodes. Before I started this course, I already had some basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. However, I found it difficult to remember the many complicated codes and I got confused really easily. SheCodes has helpt me a lot. The lessons are simple to understand and interesting and the activities are engaging and exciting, allowing me to further develop my love for coding.
I love how everything is broken down into bite-sized chunks. I had no coding experience before and I love how easy it was to follow along with the lessons.
Coding is something I never thought I would enjoy as maths and logic based learning has never come easy to me. I had trouble organizing my schedule due to the consequences of this pandemic, however, the SheCodes community is flexible and I never felt rushed or stressed. I loved the experience of going from just some basic HTML knowledge to being able to build a pretty good looking page with some interactivity in under three weeks! The videos are clear and the challenges make the lesson stick. I also love that you can pace yourself however you want as you move through the videos.
SheCodes Plus was more challenging than the previous workshop, however, Matt will make it easier for you by giving you tips to learn JS faster and better. This course really provides you great professional resources that you can even explore further. I really loved this workshop and I'm ready for my next learning adventure with SheCodes React!
Coding first caught my eye this summer when I felt I was done with running restaurants and I decided to learn a new skill. I did not know a lot about coding but the more I learned the more I love it. These past weeks have been a lot of hair-pulling and screaming in frustration, but mostly it has been amazingly fun and overall a great experience! I look forward to learn more and build a career in coding.

React App is a little difficult to understand and navigate through but everyone has been extremely helpful. The videos walk you through 99% of the basics needed and rest, just ask on slack and someone will always be there to help you out when you get stuck. It was a little frustrating but overall, a great experience! I would love to learn back-end development from them if it ever comes out!

I am in love with coding thanks to SheCodes! I was very nervous to start something I had never done before, but I'm so glad I did! Matt is an incredible teacher, and goes through everything step-by-step to make coding much easier to learn.
I had such a fun time learning React and I can't wait to continue my coding journey. I've enjoyed the way the courses are structured; there are small challenges in every lesson to practice along the way before tackling the bigger weekly homework. Matt also gives an emphasis on correct workflows and gives tips on the best ways of staying organised, which have been really useful. I've recommended SheCodes from the start and I'd love to take another course if more are offered in the future!

It was a very difficult and challenging time, but the SheCodes Plus Workshop course pushed me more than ever before to keep going and to not give up in my coding journey. In several weeks I was able to learn so much more about vanilla JavaScript with the supportive team at SheCodes than I could ever have done learning just by myself. Even though my final weather app project is quite basic, I tried my hardest and best with what I could manage now, and again I'm so very glad and thankful I didn't give up. I especially love the fact that we will always have access to course materials, videos, and the Slack group even after graduating the workshop, so I am going to look over the course again and again to solidify my knowledge. I look forward to improving my skills greatly in the next workshop (SheCodes Plus React)!
