I love SheCodes! The platform is great, videos/challenges are helpful and the ongoing group Slack is amazing!
SheCodes plus was a great experience! I loved putting my basic HTML skills to the test and improving on those skills. Working full time and then coming home to be a full time mom, SheCodes let me learn at my own pace. The videos are easy to follow and Matt explains everything in a way that writing, reading, and understanding code is almost second nature now. For anyone looking to expand on their currently knowledge or picking up so new mad skills, I would 1000% recommend SheCodes! I can't wait to start my next course!
I entered SheCodes with absolutely no experience in coding. Growing up, I always attempted to learn how to, but never seemed to be able to find a learning platform that worked for me. During quarantine, I was hoping to find a new skill to work on, and happened to stumble upon SheCodes! I absolutely loved the step-by-step instructions that Matt provided, in addition to the challenges which helped to reinforce each lesson. As someone who did not think I could ever get the hang of coding, I truly believe SheCodes is a wonderful platform to learn the essential concepts of coding and understand how to apply it in our day-to-day lives. I'm really happy for the course! It is not just a basic curse, I could learn from the scratches how to code and at the end, how to create my own project! Other thing I really loved, its that Matt gives you real scenarios and real problems in each lessons, so you have to figure it out by yourself some things!. For me , that was amazing because I could discover skills that I didn't know I have 🙂.

I highly recommend the SheCodes Workshop for every intrigued woman. The lessons are pleasantly compressed, easy to follow, and most importantly: so much fun! Never in a million years did I think that I would enjoy coding so much! Matt and the team made everything so easy to understand and help was always on hand over on Slack if ever I got into a jam. The challenges were so much fun and I loved creating my own page from scratch for the final project. As a graphic designer I am always asked by clients if I can create web pages and I am so happy that I can finally add coding to my skill set. I would 100% recommend this course to any ladies looking to gain some working knowledge about coding.

Bite-sized information through videos which were really easy and clear to understand. Love that we had small challenges to complete after each lesson and that helped to reinforce the learning in me. Being able to clear the lessons and homework in my own time within the week instead of in a particular day was also helpful as I could learn at my own pace, which would have otherwise dampened my motivation. :)
Amazing eperience! As an incoming college student, this workshop helped me realize my interest in coding. I had never coded before this workshop, and now I love it. I am even taking a computer science class in school. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

Matt was such a great teacher and all of the videos were easy to follow. He also makes sure to not teach every single thing so that you have to do a bit of research and messing around to figure things out. Also loved how helpful the Slack channel was and never felt put off to ask questions in there

I loved the workshop! It's so practical, full of material and different examples. Also, you make a little project at the end of the course, and it helps you to understand how everything works altogether. That's one of the most interesting points of it.

I was always intrigued by the world of coding, but it looked so hard to learn. I took the free workshop kind of as a joke because I never thought I could learn such a complex language. But then once I saw how Matt taught, I realized I might be able to do it! I absolutely loved everything about how this course was taught. The step-by-step videos, the little tasks at the end of each topic, and the breakdown of coding was so helpful. SheCodes is the best! I began as a novice with the intro to coding class and quickly fell in love with coding through Matt's easy-to-follow videos and Joao's helpful support on challenges and homework. After graduating from the intro workshop, I immediately enrolled in SheCodes Plus and then SheCodes React. Improving my coding literacy and building the weather app project from scratch has been such an empowering experience. If the SheCodes team ever offers courses on any other coding languages, I will be first in line to sign up!
The course was a great introduction to coding for absolute beginners. I wanted to do a course that allowed me to put into practice what I had learned along the way, so SheCodes was perfect for that. I had never had someone explaining things as clear as Matt did during his webinar. Loved the way he teaches! After that I signed up to the course and it is truly straight forward. I highly recommend this to someone that wants to try how the coding works and also to people that are not devs but want to complement their knowledge (like my case as an Analyst).

Really loved this workshop! Matt's videos were simple and concise and very informative without giving that feeling of being overwhelmed. The workshop itself was a reasonable price. There were certain "challenges" that were definitely challenges and google becomes your friend, personally I would do a quick google search and MDN offers a solution but rarely a well explain explanation, here comes SLACK. It was a great place for all of us to bounce our ideas off one another and ask for help for challenges, homework, and the project. Very helpful! There's a sense of pride whenever you complete a challenge or homework and I love that. Coding is also very impressive to those who aren't at all into the world of coding, so to show someone your entire code they're completely floored by it all haha! Would recommend this course to anyone interested in coding.

I never coded before and absolutely fell in love with it! This is a workshop that is super useful if you just want to learn more about coding in general. My passion for coding start when I was 13 and I loved to change the html code of my tumblr. This was my first ever attempt at coding, and I loved it! All of the lessons were easy to follow and the challenges & homework were just hard enough to where Google and the Slack community came in handy. It definitely took going back and forth from old challenges to remember some of the syntax but I can confidently say I am completing this course knowing substantially more than I did coming in. 10/10 recommend 👏
I loved this course, I have had a few really busy weeks but still looked forward to getting back to my little projects. I work with developers every day and I have already noticed a difference in my abilities. The bite-sized lessons are perfect and everything is explained really clearly. I loved the three weeks workshop! I learnt a lot about coding and I completely fell in love with it :) What I love the most about the SheCodes workshop are the short lessons (about 10 min each) and all the mini challenges associated with them: they really help me to keep on track and never get bored! I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to get into coding. The tutorials are very easy to understand and conducted at a manageable pace, and the tasks are very challenging and rewarding. It's amazing to see how far I've progressed in such a short amount of time! I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Matt explains things in a very comprehensible way and shows you exactly what to do as he talks about it. The structure is wonderful because you actually learn instead of just following along. After being shown exactly how to work on the lesson's topic, it forces you to try the problems on your own before you can see the solution but you can still go back and rework it if you need with no sense of shame. I love that I can go at my own pace instead of one dictated by a live class. I am looking forward to the next workshop.
It had been a long time since I got so excited about something, taking the workshop really made me kind of take control of my life again. Learning, investigating and discovering new things, finding out that you too can do it and solving problems on your own are some of the most satisfying and powerfull things to do in the world, and SheCodes really helped me get there. I'll definetly continue learning how to code, absolutely loved it and this workshop opened that amazing door for me.
I really enjoyed the workshop. The lessons were easy to follow and understand. I loved that after each lesson we could put our knowledge straight into practice with the challenges. Because I work full-time with irregular hours i’m happy I found a course that I can finish at my own pace and watch the lessons from anywhere at any time.
It was a lot of fun these past three weeks and I highly recommend this workshop for women who are not sure where to start. The videos are fun and easily able to follow. I had very minimal background in html from previous social media design, but I love how in-depth this class got. Everyone was super helpful and very patient whenever I had questions. I love that this class is semi-self paced, it allowed me to go back and review material.
I had tried other free beginner coding tools but I was not retaining the information as well. I applied for SheCodes and was accepted and in the last three weeks, my knowledge of coding has grown so much! I loved the breakdown and will possibly sign up for another workshop in the future. I definitely recommend this to total beginners, and people who are foreign to the world of coding. Matt was very clear and explained everything step by step in the videos, which was great. The challenges provided a good mechanism to practice the learning. I also love how I was able to fit this workshop around my schedule. One feedback I have is that the challenges could have been a bit harder and longer to really improve learning. But other than that, I really recommend this!

I loved the SheCodes Workshop! Coding is something I have wanted to try for a long time, but I have always been put off by the fact that you are always told at school that coding is only for the people who were the very best at maths. However, as this course has taught me, that isn't at all the case! If you put your mind to it, anyone can learn how to code. I fully support any initiatives to encourage girls and women to code, as we are very underrepresented in the tech sector. Thank you to Matt Delac and the team for helping me on the first steps of my coding journey -- I will be continuing to develop my front-end development skills.

First of all - what an adventure going from JS to now learning React! It was a great learning path, and I loved the video's in 'SheCodes React Final Project' - it truly brings everything together. One thing I would love to see though is a tutorial video of how to apply the 'my current location button' - like we did in Shecodes plus. However,I highly recommend everyone doing SheCodes React, it's great final course to the bootcamp. Excited to continue my learning path in coding and use new skills and knowledge.

I loved getting more familiar with HTML, CSS and JS. Building this weather app was not easy, but definitely a fun challenge. The lessons are bite-sized and easy to understand. I think it is great that you have to do your own research as well. Finding out how to use the internet to help you figure things out is very helpful for the future. Having the great SheCodes community as a back-up is a big plus of this course. I can't wait to start with React!
My final workshop with SheCodes and I am so sad it's over! SheCodes has been so fun to help me learn and develop my skills as a designer while managing to still take complex concepts and break them into bite-size videos. When I first started this course I didn't know how much I would love coding and now on my last course of the React course, I feel so knowledgeable and ready to continue my coding journey outside of these lessons. I always thought coding was super hard and boring, and I could not contemplate ever learning this skill. How wrong was I? With the right teacher and resources it is definitely not only do-able, but FUN! Matt is a fantastic teacher, and with his clear and concise explanations learning to code is an achievable goal. Being able to not only watch, but then do really makes the whole learning experience amazing. I can't wait to start the SheCodes + workshop. I love being able to see what I code, transform into a beautiful website. Being able to see visually the result of a change really enables my brain to learn through trial and error. Love it, cannot rate this workshop highly enough. Bring it on!
I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus. It was challenging, but also very fun to be able to write code to create an application.
