I LOVE SheCodes! It's a fantastic way to expand your horizons. Every lesson is very well designed and the challenges can be very fun and thought-provoking! I have learned so much and look forward to taking the next step - SheCodes React.
I wanted to learn new skill. Shecode gave a nice platform. I loved learning about Front end development.
I first came across SheCodes on GGI, a facebook group for women living abroad. I had always had coding in the back of my mind, ever since we learned some basic HTML during my master's degree in English Language Teaching. I love materials design and as Computer Assisted Language Learning is becoming more and more common, I loved the idea of being able to create my own webpages. I am a SAHM at the moment, so I like the format of the SheCodes workshops, since I could access the content whenever I had some peace and quiet - super useful if you have a little toddler running around. I loved every minute of it and also enjoyed all the challenges and being able to choose something unique for our final project. I will continue learning and looking forward to diving deeper into the world of Java Script.
I had no idea coding was so fun and cool! I loved that workshop and I'm proud of that new goal.

I loved SheCodes! I had a previous basic experience with HTML, but I've never done anything with JavaScript before and nonetheless I found the course very clear and easy to follow. I also really liked that Matt was explaining enough to let me learn new stuff and complete the assignments, but still giving inputs about other options and possibilities that triggered my curiosity and made me explore and try on my own. The videos are easily understandable and this course was more accessible than anything I've used before (and I've tried my fair share). I loved the projects and coding has finally started to make sense!
I absolutely loved SheCodes! Matt walked us through the basics in each video, and we had resources available via Slack 24/7 if we needed help or had questions. The challenges were engaging, fun, and filled with easy to understand information. As each week passed, the elements we learned were tied together and the framework began to make more sense. I am so glad I took the plunge and signed up! Looking forward to continuing my SheCodes journey!

After completing the Introduction to Coding course back in summer, I was looking forward to developing my knowledge and testing myself - the Plus course definitely delivered! On many occasions I found myself frustrated when working through the weekly lessons and challenges, but when I began the homework I was surprised to realise how much I'd actually taken in and that it was a lot easier than anticipated. It was really fun and I've loved working on my project, from building my initial wireframe to spending hours working on and streamlining my JavaScript. There are some improvements that I'd like to have made to the code of my final project, but I took on board Matt's advice of only coding what you understand, not copying and pasting. I know that with time and patience I'll gain an even more advanced understanding, but I'm pretty stoked with what I've built considering six months ago my only knowledge of code was (very) basic HTML from the days of MySpace!
I love the SheCodes courses because of how they are broken down into smaller, manageable steps.
I would highly recommend SheCodes for anyone looking for a solid foundation in coding without dropping thousands on a bootcamp. I loved the pace and level of the course, and really appreciated the community of the slack channel. I'm looking forward to building a portfolio with the projects I worked on with SheCodes.

A great course for beginners definitely worth it. I loved the fact that the curriculum is divided in several short videos and after each video you get to apply what you have learned in the challenge and afterwards combine everything you have learned in the homework and finally in the final project. Learning to code for the first time ever from scratch is a very intimidating thing. However, Matt and the support team provide such simple teaching and great knowledge to get you through the course. I never realized how much I love coding until now. I am excited to take coding to the next level and apply it to my career!
When I first started this workshop I had no idea whatsoever of what making a web page implied, so my curiosity made me investigate a little bit about it when I came across SheCodes and I loved it, since the first day I discovered how fun coding can be 😎

I have really enjoyed my learning experience with SheCodes. I loved the React course. The lessons are very well instructed and easy to understand. Withouth any doubt, I totally recommend this workshop to everyone! The modules are very well designed and segmented to allow you a smoothly progress. Matt is not only a highly experienced coder, but an excellent teacher that makes complex concepts extremely easy to understand and execute. I loved every challenge even though sometimes I was stuck for a couple of hours trying to figure out how to fix or do something. It is just part of the process, and I appreciate the tips and resources shared with us. I am looking forward to continue my path to the next workshop with SheCodes.
I always thought of coding as part of an elite, something that was so far outside my grasp. However, it has always been something that has really triggered an interest within me. But my main problem was not knowing how or where to begin, and that's when I came across SheCodes, a course that provides with all the tools and help you need to get started. Without a doubt, I signed up for my first 3 week workshop, and I was not disappointed! I have now changed career course and would love to explore the coding world even more! With the help and support from SheCodes, nothing is outside my grasp. I want to thank the SheCodes team for the support network they have set up for all of their students, and how they have enabled and opened up a world I didn't think "was meant for me".
If you don't know codding this is for you, is a great workshop to know how lovely coding is.
I never thought about coding. I thought it was boring and not my kind of thing. Well.. I loved it! It's amazing to build something by yourself, it's amazing to understand what's behind all those letters and numbers. The workshop is well explained, step by step, the homeworks are very useful to practice. The SheCodes community ready to help is just amazing. And I loved the SheCodes radio! I'm an engineering student and I wanted to give frontend a try so bad. SheCodes really inspired me to keep going. The workshop is well-structured and intuitive, the lessons are easy to follow and its challenges helped me to stay motivated. Plus, I loved to work with proper tools like CodePen, VS Code and the console, it felt even more professional and boosted my confidence as a coder. 👩💻 I learned a lot and I'm really excited to keep coding.💪😎
I absolutely loved the SheCodes 3 week Workshops! I became interested in coding about a month ago and wanted to take a course to see if it was something I wanted to pursue further. I took SheCodes' free coding class and thought I would try the 3 week coding workshops. The workshops explained all the concepts really well and started from scratch. This really allowed me to start building my knowledge from day 1 and the best part was that it was really easy for me to fit it around my work schedule! I didn't think I would be able to create a landing page from scratch but I have and I'm so proud of myself. The workshops have given me the confidence to keep coding and keep learning. If you are thinking about going into tech and want to try your hand at coding, take the plunge and do the 3 week SheCodes workshops. I promise you won't regret it!

The Plus course was well structured. The level was high, nevertheless really fun to learn new topic each week. I found the SheCodes 3-week self-paced class to be really easy to fit into a very busy life. I took this class alongside a friend to have some accountability and it's been great to be able to bounce ideas off and work with each other. If I didn't have this, there is a huge Slack channel of folks to reach out to and collaborate with, which is awesome! I loved the material we learned and the freedom of the last assignment. I'd recommend this to anyone who is code-curious and has been waiting to take a plunge and make the commitment. You can do it! We can all do it!
Loved the easy to follow bite-size lessons which I could fit comfortably around work and family. The assignments were challenging at times (in a good way) but the support from the other ladies in the group was great.

I recommend the workshops by all my heart! It wasn't that easy to keep up with all deadlines because of crazy Xmas time nevertheless I've managed because it was SO MUCH FUN to finally understand what it is all about 😀 Formula of the course is great and thanks to the small steps method you quickly gain necessary knowledge of tools and skills to create your own basic web page and the best part of it you can continue to learn individually thanks to Matt's tips. He is great teacher, I gradually got addicted to his voice 😀 I'd love to continue this challenging adventure of coding with SheCodes! If all online courses were created like that, I would have end by only learning stuff on the Internet 😉 Chapeau Bas!
I was not sure what to expect when I subscribed to the course. But as soon as I started I absolutely loved it. The composition of the course is great. You'll learn everything step by step and the instructions are very easy to follow. It's awesome what I've learnt in such a short time.

I really enjoyed the course. Matt broke down the process into the small steps technique, which is really effective and I believe the only way to teach people and to make them love at the same time. I like to create and innovate and experience new things and of course learning languages , which method is similar to coding, ( i had to realize!). It did open up new doors for me to create. It was a struggle to actually find time to complete this workshop. Not because the workshop was difficult but because real life was mad! Lovely Daniela was always handy to give me extensions on the deadlines 😊 I loved to learn a bit more about coding, although, I must confess, it was a little frustrating to achieve a few things (like retrieving the correct time for the app 🤯 ). On the other hand, when I managed to get hold of how things worked, I did a little victory dance 😅 I would strongly recommend this workshop to everyone wanting to learn coding, even if you don't have any coding background (I'm the perfect example for that!) I had been searching for a coding course that was easy to follow and stumbled across SheCodes. I love that SheCodes allows you to work at your own pace. Managing work, family, extra curriculars and life.. I needed flexible deadlines but a course that provided structure. SheCodes provided that and more. Tutorials and challenges are efficient and challenges you to use resources outside of the class to complete your work. I feel great after completing the first course and can't wait to learn more!
Since I've heard about SheCodes I wasn't sure if it was something for me. Well, to be honest, I've had never thought about programming at all in my life - it was like love at first sight. And as quickly as it could get, I was getting more and more engaged and couldn't see myself doing something else.
I'm so happy that I've decided to continue my coding journey with SheCodes. 🥰 I love how the course is set up and how well everything is explained. When I started the coding journey I just wanted to see if it was just a little of curiosity or if it was something else. In the end I really found a passion! I loved that the program is mostly learn as you go, and you can count on people here to find some help when you are stuck. There was so many things that amazed me and really show me that coding is so powerful (like Mac said so many times in this course... and he was totally correct). Huge Thanks to Matt and the SheCodes team for making this possible. It was just wonderful to see my idea of a project became a finalized project. Looking forward to the React one!!
