I loved how much confidence I gained. The learning approach is clear and adding in challenges that added elements outside of the lesson helped to build my skill set. I'm looking forward to continuing my coding journey!
I started off as a beginner, with absolutely no knowledge on how to code. After doing the first three week workshop I now know how to code a bit. I love how you can complete assignments at your own pace but still meet a deadline. Matt literally breaks it down in his videos, step by step making it super easy to learn. I am now excited to move on to SheCodes Plus!
I have loved every part of the SheCodes workshops. I have now started an access course on computer science and so can go to university in 2022. I would never have been confident enough to do this without SheCodes! Highly recommend

I was so excited when I learned about the Responsive Workshop. I absolutely loved the other three courses and really appreciate Matt putting this one together! Learning how to make a multi-paged and responsive website was such a fun and informative experience. I highly recommend all of the SheCodes Workshops for anyone even remotely interested in learning how to code - you will not regret it!
So i loved the videos but I wish that it were a bit more self-paced. I feel like I really struggled to learn the if/else statements and wanted more time to focus on learning them.

When I was informed there would be a new SheCodes Responsive class, I remember I was already ready to take 5 week-long-course. While adjusting the curriculum with my own pace of learning, I challenged myself to finish the weekly homework earlier than the deadline. It was not easy to secure my spare time. after my full time work. By fully utilizing my early morning time before my work and minimizing my social and fun activities for my future, I was able to create the project about Climate Change successfully. Like other courses that I took, the learning journey with Matt, Joao, and other support staffs was not always smooth to carry on but definitely worthy to try again and again (but never give up). Like a quote "Your strength is your own knowledge." I would love to show my greatest appreciation to SheCodes as I believe I became intellectually stronger than before. Responsive course has taught me that we would need to consider the end users when developing any products. Nowadays, people would. check the information via mobile web and it is crucial for developers to make sure that the. webpages would be responsive and SEO friendly. Thank you again Matt and I am already excited to take another course from SheCords.
I studied Design and always wanted to know more about coding, and SheCodes seemed like the perfect place to begin! The workshop is full of useful information, and there's always a lot of support anytime you need it. I loved it and can't wait to see what the future in coding holds for me!
Coding is something I have wanted to learn for some time so I did quite a bit of research online, but I kept coming back to SheCodes, so I booked myself onto the free 1 hour session one evening. I was completely engrossed and couldn't wait to start learning properly. I was really drawn to SheCodes as everything is broken down into bite-sized sections, and as a complete newbie, this really stood out to me. I love the fact there are lots of shorter exercises to complete after most of the lessons with a longer homework piece at the end of the week. Being quite a practical learner, this is by far the best way to help me understand. Love how there is a community on Slack, where everyone can help out, as well as the experts if you get really stuck. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants a taster of how websites work; but be prepared, you may good hooked!
I really love taking the SheCodes workshop! The lessons are easy to follow and the community on Slack was super helpful. Although I am new to coding the lessons didn't feel overwhelming because they were broken down into videos 15 minutes or less.
I have never used React before and I loved it!! I have learned a lot and improved my programming skills!!
Plus workshop is definitely more challenging, but absolutely worth it. I love the lesson breakdown and the challenges leading up to the final project. I come from a career in visuals, so using different parts of my brain to figure out how functions work was a challenge, but one I eventually understood and thoroughly enjoyed.
These classes are easy to follow and taught me a ton in a short amount of time! I love how it walks you through step by step and gives you challenges along the way to ensure that you understand.

I learned about SheCodes in 2020 but was hesitant to join. After have done coding bootcamps of other companies, I decided to just go for it and I am very happy I did! I love the way of teaching, flexibility, community and challenges. Coding has become an addiction to me and I am excited to do the next workshops😃!

I loved doing this workshop! I knew nothing about coding and was a little skeptical about doing the course because of that, thinking that it would be almost impossible for someone like me to learn the basics of coding. The class was great, easy to follow, and the workload was just perfect for people who have a full-time job. I loved the short lesson videos. These make it easy to work on the class for short periods at a time. There is also support available to answer questions when you get stuck on something. I highly recommend it.
I love Shecodes because it is designed in such a way that guarantees success and learning. It's not only watching tutorials but also working on hands-on assignments. I appreciate Shecodes for the skills I have accomplished.
Even though I've been working with front and back-end developers for over 10 years, I've always had an extreme and irrational fear of learning to code. But with my deep love for UI and UX design and project management, I knew that I would be a better UX designer and manager if I knew how to code and after the last couple of weeks, I can totally see how my deeper understanding of code has had a positive effect on my work. I feel empowered and I'll be coming back for more @shecodes!

This course was very well structured, I had SO much fun and It was completely possible to achieve parallel to my full-time job as an Architect. I had some previous coding background (but this previous learning experience was really painful and I hated it, I think because I couldn't understand it). I can just say that during this course I finally found the "love" for coding and I'm ready to continue the following courses until I become a "pro" in Front End-Development. Do not hesitate to try it, really, I think anyone could enjoy this! Happy Coding! :)

JS is pretty challenging, but all of a sudden - it just clicks! Matt runs through an entire project from start to finish in week 6 of SheCodesPlus - which is amazing as everything you've learned previously is all put together with a better understanding as you've been using each section bit by bit. Love it!

What an incredible & empowering experience SheCodes is! I am just amazed with how much intuitively digestible information was covered, in an expedient amount of time! There is also a fabulous tangible and knowledgeable community within their slack channel! I felt supported the entire way. I also loved how they encourage you to be resourceful and teach you where and how to find reputable answers for questions you may have. Knowing where to look is half the battle! I have always loved learning foreign languages because every new language opens up a new world and a whole spectrum of possibilities. It is the same with the programming languages. I really enjoyed this course even if it is just a little step to become a programmer.

I needed a career change after years of being a Teacher, and dealing with the pandemic. I did meet with some challenges but, slack is there to help; so don't get discouraged.
