Loved SheCodes Plus! I learned so much and the weather app challenge was the perfect way to test what I've learned. I have absolutely no background in coding or computer science and to look at the app and think "I created that" is very fulfilling! Can't wait for React next!

I'm so glad that I signed up for SheCodes. I took a coding class in college before, but I struggled to understand it because I was only reading from a textbook. I thought I wasn't cut out for coding because of that. When I started SheCodes, I found that I actually enjoy coding. The lessons are presented in a way that is engaging and I love that I was able to practice what I've learned immediately with the challenges. I feel like I was constantly surprised at what I was able to do. I went from thinking I couldn't code, to wanting to make it into a career.

I've loved coding since junior high, but a lack of classes teaching it left me without a way to learn, to the extent of me almost completely forgetting that I had that passion at all. I've been looking for new things to try, new learning opportunities that I could potentially turn into a career. SheCodes is definitely that avenue. I've rediscovered that passion I had when I was a kid, and I'm getting to develop it in a way that I hadn't thought of before. I can't wait to continue on this journey!
I loved this experience, Matt explains everything super well , i was a complete zero in programming before starting and i've been able to do almost everything very smothly
To learn to code was an amazing decision, to do it at SheCodes made the decision perfect. I love the way Matt presents the stuff. You get a lot of very well explained new information with each class but you don't get it completely chewed. Some things are easy to reproduce others not ,and you must go through trial and error until you get the right answer. This is for me the best way to learn something. I just finished the Basics level and cannot wait to continue this journey. As Matt promised, coding is really fun.
This was an intense 3 week journey, I had in mind many times to give up, I was saying that this is not for me, I can't learn it, but I am so glad I have not gave up. I loved the support you get, in case you get stuck, so many options to sort your issue. I was not alone, I was getting instant help from staff members, even from the community members who joined SheCodes. I think what kept me going is the time line to submit your homework, if was not in place I am sure I was not to follow up and give up easily. Very organised step by step course, clear messages and instructions, the best coding course. I hope more people discover this and give a try, it's not as hard as you think and if so, you are not alone, a lot of people are going through same thing as you and many more are there to help you. Thank you Matt and the team, thank you the SheCodes community. I finally did it 😊🎉
We don't have any free workshops like this course in IRAN. I recommend it to others who love learning.
I was skeptical with how quickly or proficiently I could learn HTML, CSS, and JS in just 3 short weeks....I am pleasantly happy to share that it is possible! I take each lesson day by day and personally decide where I need to spend more time learning. I love this flexibility. If you need more time, they are accommodating but still have high expectations for completion. The final project was so much fun and I enjoyed my time creating my own site about cavapoos! I highly recommend. I will be moving on to the next part of the course and I am excited to continue this journey.
I always thought that online classes weren't worth it because it's not the same thing being learning online that in person but Matt Delac is really good at what he does. Thank you Matt you got me fall in love with coding!

I've always been interested in coding. When I came across SheCodes I actually couldn't believe I would ever do it. It was only when I started SheCodes Basics I realized that, not only it is possible, but also not difficult to learn to code. As a matter of fact, I can't remember the last time I felt so motivated to learn and to deal with the challenges this course had for me. I loved every minute of it and I am looking forward to starting SheCodes Pro. <3
I thoroughly enjoyed the entire SheCodes Basics workshop. I had some prior experience with coding before the workshop, but the way this was taught here was fantastic! I learned new things and the lessons rejuvenated my love for coding. JavaScript was actually fun in this workshop and I didn't think that was possible. I highly recommend this workshop to women who want to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript but don't know where to start. I can't wait to start the next SheCodes workshop!
I struggled when it came to learning programming languages before I found SheCodes. Matt makes learning so much fun and I'm always looking forward to my SheCodes challenges! I love being able to put what I've learned into a tangible project and watch myself grow through the lessons. The support and guidance through SheCodes Plus has been great and I am looking forward to the React course next!

React is definitely interesting. It’s so much easier to organise than vanilla JavaScript. I thoroughly enjoyed making the dictionary app because I’m a bookworm. I also just started a new job in my absolute dream company and one of my tasks is updating the website. I love having front-end knowledge that I can apply to both my day job and freelance side business. Thank you to the whole SheCodes team for the journey!
Absolutely loved SheCodes Plus. Definitely found this course more challenging and found myself hitting a mental block on more than a few occasions, but I'm embracing that this is part of the process and nothing a break away from your screen and a fresh mindset won't resolve. I really enjoy the structure of the lessons, challenges and project work and am looking forward to what SheCodes Pro will bring. Thanks again Matt and the SheCodes team :)
Very practical, loved the objective approach I had learned without struggling with the languages. The support team was available always I needed.
I have been interested to learn to code for a while, but this course gave me the kick I needed to finally start! I loved the small challenges and the homework deadlines allowed me to keep on track and keep developing at a good pace. The course is broken down in a way that makes it easy to understand as looking at a page of code can be intimidating, but it has helped me to understand how it all comes together.
I absolutely loved this class! I started out by attending the 1-hour free coding class from an Instagram ad, then ended up buying the basics class the following day and I have not looked back since! Matt does an amazing job explaining everything from the bottom up and does it where anyone can understand it. I was able to learn so much and have great resources that I had no problem with this final project. I had just a smidge of previous experience in coding from a semester in college (and those good ol' Myspace days!) and wanted to continue to learn more so that I can broaden my career opportunities in tech. If you're STILL hesitating to sign up, just DO IT, GIRL! Invest in yourself and your future, you will be thankful that you did.
SheCodes made me realize that I CAN leave my job and do something in tech and I CAN learn difficult technical concepts. I have fell in love with coding and cannot wait to continue learning!

I decided to take the leap of faith because I have been talking about getting into coding a while, but I never felt like I could do it. This intro course truly gives you the tools to understand the basics. Matt and the staff of SheCodes made it a very welcoming environment and I love their flexibility. I would highly recommend to those curious to see if coding is something they want to take on.

I'll be honest: I was intimidated by the idea of learning to code for quite some time. I thought that because I am a clinician and work in healthcare, there would be no way that this would click with my background and skills. However, I was super surprised by how much fun I had doing this course! All of the lessons were very easy to absorb without feeling overwhelmed, and I loved that there were so many different ways for me to go back and review different concepts if I was stuck (e.g., videos, examples/models, support from staff, Slack). If any other women in my life ask about where to start with coding, I will be sure to refer them here.
Hey everyone! It's so cool to be here. I have always loved technology but never felt I would be able to grasp coding. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and am a Crisis Counselor so I have zero experience in tech. I was always intimidated to take any computer courses as I felt I wouldn't fit in since tech is a male-dominated industry. When I found, "SheCodes" I was ecstatic! Although challenging, I found the material I learned valuable and fascinating. I hope to learn more!

SheCodes has provided such a great experience for a beginner coder! I loved being able to take the process at my own pace, watching the lessons whenever they best fit into my other commitments. Everything was taught clearly, with the Slack providing such a great community and library of previously-asked questions so I rarely got stuck for long. Definitely recommend!
I started this course because I wanted to learn how to start coding. It was very fun and Matt explains these concepts really well for beginners! Loved that you can go at your own pace while also having access to feedback and help. I highly recommend it!
I came across SheCodes online and as someone who has quite basic computer skills I immediately loved Matt's teaching style. Loved every bit of it, no matter how many times I was staring at my screen thinking "Why is this not working?" just to realize that I have misplaced a ";" or other symbol, so yeah it is the little details that counts the most. Thankfully with all the support I got, I managed to get my projects up and running. Making mistakes was the best thing ever, for I realized that sometimes all you need to do is read your code and do some research, the answer is most of the time hidden in plain sight. If you have any second thoughts" don`t", it`s an amazing journey that might lead you to a different career path, or just have fun with coding. Looking forward for other workshops. Thank you SheCodes community, for making this happen.

The workshop was amazing. I really enjoyed seeing my work come to life. Loved having the slack chat at my fingertips every time I found myself stuck. The coders there helped me very quickly and so did other students. Matt's teaching made it easy to understand and loved the detail and shortcuts he gave. I would recommend this workshop to all women who are interested in coding.

I have loved completing the first part of the SheCodes course and have learnt more than I thought I would. The way in which you learn by watching videos and then putting into practice what you learn after each section is so easy to follow and really helps you pick things up.

My experience doing the SheCodes basic course was very good and surpassed my expectations. My learning experience was so satisfactory because of the so well thought platform, that is by far the best online course I ever did. I love how the lectures are structured in a way to achieve the maximum retention of information. I have studied a bit of programming in college, but it was a bad experience... I heard about SheCodes and love the way you learn and how easy it seems.
I am a banker by profession but I have always desired to know how websites are built. I have always been fascinated by the web and how engaging it is and how much knowledge one can acquire from it just by a click of a button, not to mention how easy it has made life for everyone. The learning curve however looked intimidating, and so I really yearned for somewhere where I could feel motivated to learn to learn to code ..and keep learning and not give up, just to see if this is a career path that I would find endearing. Those answers are what I got right here for a great price. What a highly engaging and interesting way to learn and to believe that you can code. I loved the challenges that kept me on toes and ensured I was consistent in my learning. I loved working on my final coding project because I learned that I can do anything that I put my mind to. From here the sky is the limit. I plan to take the SheCodes Pro course and become the kind of frontend end developer I now aspire to be. Thank you SheCodes!
I joined SheCodes to have a first experience in coding as recommended by some friends. Matt is an excellent professor and it's amazing to have such a strong support from the SheCodes team whenever I got stuck in coding. I also loved the other SheCodes tools such as the Radio, the Color Wheel, the Gradient Wheel, among many others. What started as curiosity has totally become a real interest in coding and I'll certainly be joining other SheCodes Workshops to improve my coding skills 👩💻
WOW! That is all I can say (mostly). I have learned so much and this course forced me to learn more than I had to. I found that I was extremely curious. Matt equips you to learn and gives you the tools to search on your own. Not only that, but I found that when life got a bit hectic, I could extend my due dates. I have loved learning and coding beside all of these fantastic women!! If you are on the fence, just do it. You wont regret it!

Ok now this was exciting, challenging and confidence boosting at the same time. Its never easy learning a new skill but i genuinely had so much fun learning with this workshop. Working as a full-time single mom, I've been working retail my whole life and I have lost my love for it and wanted to try something new and rewarding. I have found a lot of interest in coding and have found it to be very fun and rewarding. I am looking forward to continuing my adventure in coding and everything that it has to offer.
I never thought I would be interested in anything related to IT, it started as a challenge to expand my knowledge in different fields, but I've come to love it! I love that I can be creative but still challenge myself, my knowledge and my learning skills. SheCodes is amazing, Matt is an amazing teacher and every class is so fun! Cannot recommend this enough!!!
I love to keep learning with the SheCodes workshops. The workshops provide a lot of learning material, and make it easy to learn how to code. I want to keep learning and create more projects that would assist me to transition to become a front end developer. Getting to the end of the SheCodes Plus course is definitely a highlight of the year for me, where I didn't think it would be possible for me to achieve and do everything I have accomplished with my final project today. After fully dedicating myself these past few months to learning and exploring the world of coding, I can safely say I love it, and I can't wait until the next chapter with React! :)
I absolutely love this programme. It really helped me realise just how fun and creative coding can be! The challenges and homeworks allow you to put your newfound coding knowledge to work and I really like how the final project is based on our interests. I was a technical Recruiter for four years and came to know about coding and the IT world through recruiting.I was always fascinated about it and wondering if I could do that aswell. I have been wanting to get into coding for a long time..but there have not been many options without the proper background in this field + without having to sacrifice your fulltime job etc for it.Therefore i was very happy see an ad about shecode. I enrolled and wow. What an amazing experience sofar. Easy, understandable and perfectly explained lessons..i love to attend each lesson and am even excited after work to go to my class/next lesson and finally to my project end of the week:) looking forward to the rest of the journey!!
Overall extremely positive experience. I chose to attend SheCodes Basic because I needed a new challenge in my life, something that would spark my curiosity and exercise my creative and logical sides. Matt made the material fun and pushed us all to do better. Definitely would recommend it to anyone interested in coding workshops. I had zero knowledge in coding but had always been very interested.
