My best friend had recently begun to learn coding and I was excited for her but also not super familiar with what that meant as a career path. I happened across the free coding class from SheCodes and I was intrigued, if only to get a better understanding of what my friend is learning. The class really opened my eyes to what learning coding can do for a career pivot, especially for women. I decided to try the SheCodes basics course and I'm so excited to learn more! This platform really takes away the intimidation factor that I think scares away a lot of people. I have never considered myself a math or tech savvy person. This course has helped me focus on digesting the concepts, rather than getting caught up in self-conscious anxiety about whether I have enough technical understanding to do this. I also love that this course includes lots of challenges and projects that get the learner actively using the skills that are being taught. I also love that there is reliable online support to turn to when you get stuck and need help! This course has been so amazing and I love telling my other female friends about it in case they want to try it.
SheCodes is a wonderful introduction to the world of coding if you have ever wanted to learn how. The weekly lessons are easy to follow and the challenges are fun to complete. I loved that I could go at my own pace and rewatch videos whenever I needed to. It was so rewarding to see my learning come to life through the homework assignments and final project. I've been meaning to prioritise learning to code since 2016, and starting this course has made it actually happen - within 3 weeks. The way the classes are narrated and the accompanying videos and challenges just ... work ... Learning is fun and the deadlines and additional resources really help. Absolutely loved this workshop. When I was in high school (twenty years ago!), I took a couple web development classes and would spend hours after school creating web pages and graphics. I knew I loved creating things for the web, but always did it on the side as more of a hobby since my career was in education. I had been wanting to brush up on my skills for a while, and knew there were a bunch of workshops out there. I picked SheCodes because of the way Matt emphasized that this should be fun...and it was! I've loved seeing how front end development has changed since I first learned and also learning new tools like Visual Studio Code. Thank you for helping me re-learn how to build fun things!

I really loved participating in the workshop. It's easy to follow along and divided into good portions, so you don't get too overwhelmed with the input you're getting. The homework at the end of each week are really quite challenging, but definitely fun to do some research on your own and come up with solutions. I really liked building my own landing page in the end and am quite proud of what I've learned so far. Can't wait to learn more about coding.
I love puzzles and I genuinely love learning so when I found out about SheCodes, I had to sign up! I material is not easy but Matt does a great job of breaking it into smaller parts & challenges so that you can really take it one step at a time. I am enjoying this process so much! I can't wait to officially be a professional developer and I want to thank SheCodes for helping me make that happen.

The SheCodes Basics course was only 3 weeks, but I cannot believe how much I learnt in that time. I love how Matt breaks everything down into bite-size chunks of information that are easy to digest. Loved playing with the code for our final assignment.

I loved SheCodes because I was able to complete the course at my own pace, but there were still deadlines so I couldn't ever let myself get too far behind. It was perfect for my busy schedule. The teacher was clear and the course materials were easy to understand. I am so glad I took this class. I feel prepared for my journey into data analytics and web development!
I have to say SheCodes Responsive was my favourite course so far. I enjoyed the Basics and Plus but I absolutely loved all the handy hints and tricks and hacks that we learnt in Responsive, and of course, how to produce Responsive webpages which is so important these days with all the different devices in use. Quite a few times I'd stop and think 'How cool is that!!' The tutorials to work through completing our own webpage were so helpful and really broke it down step by step. I'm so excited to continue on to React and to hopefully one day embark on a career in developing. Thank you Matt for a brilliant course!

This beginner course was an amazing experience! I loved every second of it. I enjoyed learning new tips and tricks as well as finding out new solutions on my own. I had experience in learning python years ago and was taught how to teach the computer to play a guessing game with you, but it took a lot of time. When it comes to learning, I like it when the lessons are straight to the point and actually have you apply those new skills immediately. SheCodes definitely applies that attribute. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

SheCodes Responsive has been a lot of fun. I love the way the course is organized and all the practice we get with each challenge and homework. I had never attemped to code anything before I heard about SheCodes, so I think I'm really learning a lot!
SheCodes Basics was a phenomenal program! It's very fascinating, affordable and I learned a ton in a short amount of time. Matt is an excellent teacher & the weekly Slack channels makes communication very easy. I loved that there were deadlines to keep me on track, but I could also skip ahead if I was ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this program to anyone thinking about it. I'm looking forward to applying the coding skills I've mastered in the future.
I am recent Biomedical Science graduate but I wasn't sure whether I wanted to continue down the route of science or trying something else. I saw an ad for SheCodes free coding class on instagram, after attending the class I was so intrigued by coding and wanted to learn more. I signed up the for basics workshop the next day and it's been a great experience and I have loved every second. About a month ago, a friend of mine mentioned how she was going to start a course in coding, created especially for women. I have to admit, at first I only checked the SheCodes website out of curiosity, but after the free coding class I was hooked! I had to try it! And let me tell you, I am so glad I did! Lately I have been trying to get myself out of my comfort zone as much as possible and this is the first time ever that I purchase and finish a course, completely unrelated to the field that I have studied in. After just having finished my final project, I feel over the moon, proud of myself and I look forward to continuing my coding studies in the nearest future. I would absolutely love to have a career in coding, because it would give me the freedom and flexibility that I long for. Let’s see what the future holds. Thank you, SheCodes team!

I had such a fun time with the SheCodes Basics Workshop. Matt makes it super easy to follow and I loved the little mini projects throughout the first two weeks - it really makes you put what you've learned into practice. While I only had time for the 3-week workshop, I'll probably come back to do one of the longer workshops later down the road. Highly recommend giving SheCodes a go, whether you're looking to expand your skillset for your career, or simply just want to do it for fun!
I have always wanted to move my career from retail/hospitality to coding as this is something I am passionate about. I had a very crude understanding of coding but nothing that could produce a product. Through this course I have gathered skills to create something I really like, that I could use to start learning more with an end goal of getting a job in development. The team and other students are lovely and helpful. This is a great introduction into coding.
I loved learning how to code in HTML, Java and CSS through this workshop: it helped me a lot, because I couldn't make it alone. I recommend this course, with the advice to study and practice, with a lot of good effort: it will be a wonderful learning-trip with Matt as your teacher: I adore his method!

I've started to my self-learning coding journey a while ago and I lost my motivation so many times. I feel super lucky to come across SheCodes because everything has been way more easier with Matt and SheCodes community! Do you have a problem? It's okay just go on Slack and enter key words. You will most likely see another person who had the same problem and a great community who already helped that person with the solution!! And if you are like me who loves listening to music while study you will love SheCodes Radio! This workshop is an amazing opportunity for beginners and for the ones who may feel lost or do not know what they are doing. I'm back on track and feel motivated more than ever thank you SheCodes!
I took this course on a whim not knowing anything about coding. I knew it would be challenging, but I never thought I would love it as much as I do! The curriculum was well taught and easy to follow and the challenges, homework, and final project were fun! I was able to create something completely from scratch that I never thought I could create! SheCodes was an AMAZING workshop! Going into this, I knew nothing about coding and after finishing this workshop, I now have a pretty great basic understanding of how HTML, CSS & JavaScript works. SheCodes React was my last set of tutorials and it allowed me for a huge step up in my coding knowledge, having taught how to host my own website online. I very much enjoyed the experience once again and would love to make use of my newly developed coding skill really soon.
The workshop was nice and easy to follow. You can watch the videos on your own time and finish the homework before the deadline. I also love the fact that we can reference back to the videos to remind us how to do certain codes.
It feels so good to have been able to create this from scratch. The course structure makes sense and specially loved in the last two weeks to see Matt creating the app in real time.

Wow what a fantastic journey it was learning about coding with SheCodes. If I can learn, you can learn. This is a great beginning course for someone who has no clue what coding is about. I feel confident. I will use what I have learned about coding and teach it to children in my childcare business. I recommend this basic course to anyone wanting to try. The workshops help and the video presentations help a lot. The information is given in many different ways. You will learn to code if you complete the assignments. I love coding! I will take more courses.
I loved this course so much. I've done so many different, "self-paced" coding courses, and not a single one of them compared to this. Everything was made so clear, and the fact that I was able to do a final project like this, from scratch, is beyond me. I have no words to express how thankful I am for SheCodes

The SheCodes Responsive workshop was the final workshop for me to take and I again really enjoyed it, combining all knowledge of previous workshops to build my own portfolio. I loved learning more about coding!

I have struggled with learning code for a while now. I came to learn about SheCodes and decided to give it a try. My love for technology and what it brings forth has been drive. The courses at SheCodes are sectioned into small and very clear videos and after every class we have a challenge giving one a chance to put into practice what they learnt. That has been really fun, quenching my thirst for learning coding and at the same time keeping me curious about what the next lesson has to bring forth. My coding skills have really improved and i believe this is the begin of something great and I am happy and grateful to SheCodes.
I always love new challenges and learning new stuff. With SheCodes I think I finally found a career path that makes me happy, meets my needs for the future and that I can go on with sustainably. This was an amazing experience! Matt was a wonderful teacher and explained how to code in a way that I could understand. I love that students have access to the SheCodes staff and support from other "SheCoders". Learning to code can be overwhelming initially, like learning a new language. It's totally worth the effort though. I've created something that I'm proud of, and I learned skills that I can use now or in the future.

I love it! I do notice that it does get a little bit more challenging as we move week after week but nevertheless, I really enjoy learning coding! I am a seasoned Digital Marketer. I work a lot with dev teams on website development from UX/UI stand point so knowing coding will benefit my career greatly! 🥳 <- that's my favorite emoji BTW.

SheCodes is great. I attended the basic course. Step-by-step tutorials for preparing a web page. Understandable, simple and useful tutorial. I love the way Mr. Delac teaches.
I've tried other coding courses before, and I can 100% say this is the one where I understood most and felt the desire to finish. It's fun, the community is awesome, and the teacher is great! Also, the radio keeps you focused and energized! Loved the music selection! Would 10/10 recommend SheCodes!
I had a great time with SheCodes and the workshop! Before joining SheCodes, I thought coding was a hard skill to learn and that I would never be able to accomplish anything like it. Finished my third SheCodes Workshop since December 2021. This one was by far my favorite! I loved learning how to make pages responsive and how to check that a page looks good on mobile devices. I think it is so helpful for any projects moving forward.
