Great introduction to coding!! Matt is a great instructor, he teaches in a way that leaves you confident about the information you're learning. INSTANT switch from that "can I do this?" mindset to "I can TOTALLY do this!" It had it's moments but I loved the challenge and learning something new.

This is such a great workshop to take if you want your websites to look good on smaller screens. I loved the videos as we built a multi-page website together. I learned what a good work process is like and it helped me develop my own work style.
I have been loving the journey so far. I do have some experience with html, css and Javascript. I love that the courses uses videos with bite size lessons to complete with one project at the end of each module. I started a front end bootcamp and it was way over my head with a lot to complete in a weeks time. This course has given me to much more confidence that I can do this!
I love the SheCodes workshop format! Each lesson is so easy to understand and I enjoyed building on the concepts with each associated challenge. The ability to receive quick help when needed and also to work through the course via clear milestones and loose timelines was perfect for my lifestyle. I felt supported, but also motivated and excited to grow in my coding skills.
The basic workshop was fun and I love that I could learn at my own pace! The length of each lesson was manageable and the challenge after each lesson & final project was great for hands-on experience. Would love to join the more advanced workshops soon!

This course brought out the inner nerd in me and I LOVED IT! With coding, I finally feel like I have a creative outlet that also has structure, black and white guidelines that I can follow. Even if you choose not to go further into the world of engineering, you will have learned some skills that you can apply to your regular life. Matt gives very useful tips to search and be autonomous in case you need to. Loved the tutorials and the "coding for dummies" language used in them that makes it easier to digest. This course was fun and challenging and I loved it. Very flexible which I truly enjoyed being a mother of two. The structure, support from the SheCodes team, and the help through the Slack program were incredible. In learning a new skill (at any age), Matt made it easy to understand and grasp the basic concepts.

I was initially nervous about taking on learning to code as it seemed complicated, but I wanted to give it a go. SheCodes is an amazing place to start learning, Matt is a great teacher and breaks it down so well - he also compares it to real life scenarios sometimes which makes it easier to understand. You have plenty of time to learn and submit homework/projects while maintaining work/life balance. I love what I have learnt so far and plan on upgrading to a bigger course.
It was my first time coding and I loved it ♥️! Thanks to the SheCodes team for providing such an easy to follow course with little projects throughout the way. I did the Basics workshop and I think it's a great way to learn about the very first initial steps in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. PS. I have trully learned so much from SheCodes Plus. It feels like such a long journey, but when I finally submitted my work, the sense of achievement was trully something else! I had a great learning experience with SheCodes. I am currently working on getting my bachelors as a Software Developer. I come from an Ultrasound tech background and decided to switch careers. I love coding and I definitely am looking forward to learning more.
I was looking to enhance my professional skills and a colleague of mine recommended I start learning how to code. I was very skeptical, because I have absolutely no background training in coding!! But they were confident that I code learn if I put in the work. By the time I signed up for SheCodes and committed myself to the process, I became more optimistic in my ability to learn how to code. I love the direct and to the point lessons. Being able to complete the challenges immediately after learning the material is very helpful and seeing Matt work through the solution is great! I was nervous to start this process, but now I am eager to continue my coding journey!!

I really am excited about coding now that I've gone through this basics course! It was the right ratio of challenging to empowering. I felt there was never too much thrown at me at once, but I was still being pushed. I loved the SheCodes Responsive workshop! I really enjoyed implementing responsive development into the challenges and projects. I think media queries are so fun! It was great to learn and implement different tools to create a responsive website.

I love that this program is self-paced and interactive. SheCodes gives you a chance to practice each aspect of coding before moving on to the next lesson and it all builds on the previous lesson. Also, the Slack community is SO helpful when you get stuck on something.

I really enjoyed the basic course from SheCodes. It was well structured, easy to follow and I loved the challenges in between to always practice what you just learned. Only minus point was that in the last week you do not learn anything new. You are completely working on the final project.
I love how I do not stress coming into my workshop sessions and instead love the time I spend here. The workload had been reasonable in a way that they challenge me but light to the feeling at the same time. Nothing too overwhelming in the sense that the workshops do not make me run away and avoid. I love this course and I found it very useful with good exercises to practice. Matt explains in a very nice way which makes things easier to understand, since I was never the technical person. I love learning new things, it was a lot of fun and the course was much better than expected, I was very happy to see the results of my projects. Working as a Recruiter, this course already helped me a lot to have a better idea of what my tech colleagues do in a regular basis.

I loved this course as an intro to getting into HTML coding. It taught me how to be comfortable reading and working in an HTML page, how to work in VS Code, and provided me with a great learning community. They were always quick to respond when I had questions and broke down the lessons into manageable steps. It was nice to be able to learn in a way that catered to my preferred style of learning.

I loved how easy SheCodes was to follow. The lessons were bite-size, the challenges made it easy to put my new skills into practice, and the final project really challenged me to think for myself. I've told several friends to look up SheCodes and register!
I'm so impressed with how much I have learned in such a short amount of time. I was a little worried coming into the course being a complete beginner but I feel it was really easy to follow and I even enjoyed the problem-solving element if I had made any mistakes. I love that there are colour templates, gradients and cheatsheets available to make things a little more simple. I have signed up for SheCodes Pro and I'm so excited to see where it takes me.
Since starting with SheCodes I have raved about this program. I find it very user-friendly and easy to understand. I love the hands-on approach and I really have absorbed a lot so far from the basic course. Excited to get further along with each workshop.

It was a long time since I had coded but since joining SheCodes last year, I was sure I was going to pursue this to the end. The course material is well organized and clear making it easy to follow. The step by step challenges makes it easy to reassess your understanding. I have also learnt a lot talk of APIs, design and bootstrap. I love SheCodes! I Cannot wait to learn react. My front end developer journey has just began.

The SheCodes Basics workshop was a great way test out the coding waters. I had practiced with FreeCodeCamp prior to SheCodes so I had a little bit of practice but it was much easier to have Matt walking us through step by step with explanation and using Slack as extra assistance if needed. Even with a little prior knowledge, I still spent slightly over 5 hours per week for the first two weeks on lessons, challenges, and homework. As I could do this all in my own time, it was very manageable while working a full-time job. I loved and appreciated Matt’s laid back and fun teaching style and highly recommend SheCodes Radio while you’re coding!
I loved that I could work at my own pace. Even though the course was scheduled for 3 weeks, I could move ahead or take more time as my schedule allowed. I loved being able to help other students troubleshoot in Slack and knowing that I could turn to peers or instructors if I got stuck!
I came to SheCodes.io after I enrolled in another program and had the hardest time staying on schedule. When I found SheCodes I was researching for one of my Javascript assignments, and I just love how everything was explained so clearly. I knew I had to stop my other program and start with SheCodes for better understanding! --- What a Game Changer! I now understand and LOVE again Coding! I highly recommend this Program!! The more and more I learn about coding the more intrigued I feel. I've always loved a good challenge and coding has definitely tested my patience but the feeling when something works is the greatest! This portfolio project has really put all my knowledge to the test and I've learned so much about myself. I now have the confidence to build other portfolios and responsive websites. I intend to keep practicing those skills by offering a helping hand to friends who may benefit from a website portfolio or responsive website. I've come so far since I first started in January and it's only the start! Next stop... React! I can't wait to continue learning on my coding journey!
I love it! Thought it would be harder, but the way of explaining and the lesson activities helps a lot. By the final project, it just that everything makes sense.
I needed to learn basic coding skills for my job, so when I found SheCodes I did some research and decided to sign up. I loved the challenges and the way the course was presented, and am considering taking my skills further with another course just because I enjoyed it so much and know it'll be valuable for my career!

SheCodes Plus course has given me a much better understanding of the coding world. It was fun and challenging to create the weather app, but I feel like I leaned so much.
