I am so happy I decided to start learning to code with SheCodes. I love to create, so I thought why not learn to create in other ways? The lessons are simple and easy to follow. The basics course is a great way to get your foot in the door to code.
I signed up just to see if this was something I could manage. I loved the course & how it was taught! Glad I tried this!
SheCodes basics was an excellent introduction to coding. The course is structured in a way that is easy to follow, Matt is clear in his teaching, and the coding-challenges after each lesson secures constant practicing. I love that it is fast-paced so you have to pause and re-watch the videos, rather than losing attention and focus. Learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to enrolling in SheCodes Plus!👩🏼💻
This course was very interesting and challenging for me. Step by step we created the weather application, learned new features of JS and HTML/CSS. It was a great opportunity for me to realize that I really love coding and want to learn more and continue my way with SheCodes. Thanks to Matt and SheCodes team for this wonderful course.

I love sheCodes. I have learned a great deal in just 4 weeks and I soon I will be ready for my new role, in my company, as a Front-End developer. Each lesson is short, and easy to follow. I highly recommend the program.

I am a recent graduate with a BFA degree. I realized I wanted to learn more coding (as in UX/UI) and hopefully become Front End Developer. I was unsure about SheCodes, but took the leap of faith. Totally worth it. I love everything about SheCodes, I always feel motivated coming here to learn and play with my creativity!
I really had so many pre-conceptions about coding! Luckily I joined Matt's free introductory talk and I was hooked. I decided to give it a go and see learning programming as learning any other language (which I really love, and I'm good at), and it worked. Though challenging, I'm loving the process and all the growth I can see myself gaining. Definitely recommended.

I have enjoyed every second of this course. I started to gain interest when I joined my current job at a tech firm but working in a different function. I have loved learning this new skill and cannot wait to complete more courses. Matt explains everything really well in a way that it doesn't feel scary and is understandable. I should say, the course is more complicated than the previous one. It's perfectly done because it includes a review of the basics. I loved this course although sometimes it was tough for me to understand everything. Thanks a lot for this opportunity to dive into the coding world.

I completed the initial Basics workshop and decided to keep going with SheCodes Max. The Basics Add-on was the next step. I loved learning more fun CSS & JS properties that I can apply to my next projects and challenge landing pages to spruce them up!

This course was amazing because it takes you by the hand and teaches you how to code, step by step. I love the Matt features in the course videos, making the learning fun. However above all, the course is well structured so it is easy to get inspired and implement the techniques. All in all, I expended a great time during this course.
I loved this workshop, I was able to learn so much about the job market. I wasn't feeling too confident about looking for a job before taking this workshop but now I feel way more confident!

When I first joined this 3 week course I didn't know what to expect whatsoever, however after the first week of the classes I understood that this is what I love to do and how much potential I could have completing it. I found it very useful that I could push back the deadlines for the homework as I had university deadlines due too. Everything that Matt explained during the videos was clear and concise and very understandable.

SheCodes Basics was a great intro to learning how to code! I am a registered nurse looking to transition into tech, so I have absolutely no background in or knowledge of coding. This was such a fun course and really boosted my confidence in myself that I can learn how to code! I loved exercising my creative muscles and building my skin care website! Excited to learn more!
I would say that the "she codes" workshop was terrific. I loved the workshop environment, the teaching method, and the exercises. I highly recommend "she codes" to everyone I know who has a passion to learn to code.
I was nervous when I started the course and it was a bit daunting at first as I had no idea at all how to code before this. By the end of the course, I felt a lot more confident with what I was doing and enjoyed making my final project. Would love to go on and try the next courses when I have time in my crazy schedule
This workshop has been most helpful in learning the basics of coding. I love there are bite-sized lessons, challenges, and homework so we can integrate the material we learn. It doesn't take too long to complete and the information needed is all within the workshop.
I kept seeing people post about the SheCodes workshops anytime I looked up coding workshops. I am so glad I decided to join the SheCodes community. The lessons were very informative and easy to follow. I love that there was a challenge after the lessons. It allowed me to practice what I learned and apply what I learned to the homeworks and project. Anytime I had questions I was able to reach out to peers and the SheCodes team. I have learned a whole new set of skills all thanks to SheCodes! It is so worth it, what are you waiting for?!
So glad to have continued my study of coding. Things started to click more in SheCodes Responsive. Doing the projects brought back my love for graphic design, my major in high school. I can't wait to start the next section.
Loved everything I learned in this course! I know so much more about API's and how to use a repository/how to host your code on a server. Additionally, I enjoyed the advanced coding on how to organize my code to different locations on a page, and use of containers.
I loved how straight forward and interactive this workshop was! I'm impressed with the way Matt was able to break down each coding language in a very simplistic way. I enjoyed all of the assignments and the accountability of having to submit the homework for each lesson. As a mom, I appreciated the flexibility of going at your own pace because life does get busy but having graceful deadlines definitely makes things a lot more stress-free. Thank you SheCodes for this wonderful experience!
It was a labor-intensive course, but it is simply magnificent. Preparing a multi-page portfolio was a great incentive to remember and use everything that we studied in previous courses. This course gave me the opportunity to love programming even deeper and more desperately and gave me a clear understanding that this is what I love to do. Thank you for your hard work.

I never ever suspected to love coding. It wasn't until recently, when i discovered "SheCodes" and signed up for the free coding class that i discovered exactly how creative the process of coding really is. I felt excited in a way i never would have imagined and so i signed up for the course. I have a long way to go and i'm in search for a balance between my full time job, after work activities and SheCodes courses now as well. thankfully, Matt created a safe space here on the platform to ask as many questions as you need in order to get where you want to be. And thanks to the entire SheCodes team i was able to follow the Basics course on my own time. I am very excited to continue my journey and i am looking forward to the next course!
I started SheCodes while I was home very sick, alone, and dwelling in my all to common desperation for change. Mainly change from my unfulfilling and physically taxing job. SheCodes was the new and exciting change I had hoped for and would love nothing more than to continue to learn and grow as a coder. I truly feel this is the change I was looking for.
I loved the SheCodes Plus course. There were times that the course was challenging, but it was very satisfying to overcome those challenges. I am becoming more and more confident with my coding skills. I cannot wait to see what is next for me on my coding journey with SheCodes!
I love the SheCodes Workshops. The lessons are super easy to follow yet still challenging at times. Matt is a wonderful instructor with a great teaching style.
These are great, easy-to-follow lessons that don't require a ton of time! I love the little challenges along the way that help you prepare for the larger assignments.

I learned so much and loved the format of this online course. The learn, challenge, solution model made picking up concepts quite easy and quick!
I decided to start SheCodes a few months ago when considering a career shift from nursing. I started with SheCodes Basics and loved it! I signed up for SheCodes Pro and just finished the SheCodes Plus portion. I will admit, JavaScript has been challenging to learn since I started with zero knowledge about coding, but Matt makes it so fun and explains it really well. Not only am I learning completely new computer languages, but Matt is also teaching real world coding skills. While this weather app has been very challenging at times, there has always been resources to help me solve the problem when I get stuck. And I'm very proud of my final product! I can't wait to start the next course! Thanks Matt and SheCodes!!!
This is a great workshop! I found the information in the videos easy to understand and loved the hands-on challenges after each section. It helped reinforce the information we were learning. Matt and the SheCodes team did a great job and were super helpful. I love being a part of a community of women striving for the same goal while supporting each other throughout the journey. What a fun yet challenging course this has been! For someone with no knowledge of coding, I found myself enjoying this course. I love the fact that you can be consistent through practice after each video watch and concluded of homework of what you have learnt for the week. Very helpful and friendly from staff at SheCodes - Thanks for the clear and constant communication. I would highly recommended this course to someone with no knowledge of coding. This course will help you decide if feel that you are for the tech field not.

I really enjoyed this workshop. It was a love-hate relationship with bootstrap when I first learned it during the SheCodes Plus. However, after these responsive sessions- I get it, and I can't get enough of bootstrap. The final project really encouraged me to attempt to design and build a starter portfolio that I am really proud of. I can't wait to continue learning and just making new projects and improving my old ones.
SheCodes Basics has really taught me a lot in such a short amount of time! I became even more passionate about coding. I love the fact that with this I can be in control and can use my creativity in order to create some magic on the web! I will continue coding because I want to be able to make a career out of it!

I really enjoyed SheCodes Basics! I have wanted to learn how to code for quite a long time. A couple of years ago, I tried learning using free online resources but I found it challenging and gave up eventually. When I attended the Free Coding Class and Matt explained about the course and the process of SheCodes, I decided to go for it. I am so glad I did because I ended up loving it! The class is so well structured and easy to follow. What I also loved was the help you can get from the SheCodes team. When I was stuck with a challenge, they responded to my question really quickly! Thank you, SheCodes team and I am looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus!
I wouldn't think web design has this much with art! I loved how the course was divided in short videos and practices.
I loved this course! It was more challenging than Basics but it feels so good to go through each week's lesson and learn alongside the videos. I am so pleased with how the app came out and I cannot wait to continue on with SheCodes :)
There is no word for describing the power of SheCodes team in teaching you easy and effectively. If you do not know what is code even, you can start with them. short and effective videos, organized details, and a real project that can increase your ability so sudden. I LOVE SHECODES
I feel like I learned a lot just with the Basics workshop. Loved the explanations.
I found the React part really dificult. It went to fast and the videos Matt did, didn´t really match the source code from him. Also, I believe I could learn better and faster if we had had an easier final. Yes, I understand that the Weather App is a good way to go, but for me it was to dificult and complicated. There are sooo many things to think about and to understand in a short amount of time. I think that by doing it a bit easier and and fully understand what you are doing, will resolve in you leraning easier on your own later. Also, when it says that the forecast is volontary (in the final), thats says a lot to me. But, Matt is without a doubt a really good teacher, love his videos and I would recomend it even if I thought is was hard.

I was looking to learn a new skill that could get my foot in the door in tech when I stumbled upon SheCodes. I knew absolutely nothing about coding going into the basic workshop- but I loved it so much I decided to go all in with the max workshop! I am looking forward to where I will be in my coding journey here in just a few months.
I took this class to see if coding was something I would enjoy doing. The class explains basic concepts extremely well, and I actually loved it! I feel like I have a solid framework to build on going forward, and am excited to learn more.
I love how practical the workshop is, the challenges after each lesson helps you implement what you have learnt from the lesson. Its amazing how you go from no experience to building a whole page. I recommend it 100%.

I have learned CSS, HTML, and Javascript with SheCodes and I loved it. I felt it is like a game and most of the time I was like: "Let's go play some designing game!" I am particularly into the project, making a website from the first to what I wanted was so interesting. It was so much fun that I couldn't stop it.
Everything is very well explained. Loved it! Highly recommend to those who want to learn React.
I had so much fun learning how to make responsive websites from scratch. Being able to showcase the app I created in SheCodes Plus on my website gave me a sense of fulfillment. I love the structure of the workshops SheCodes provide. :) Cannot wait to start learning React!

I was very happy that I started this course. Before I was still struggling with the social stereotypes that set all these limitations and boundaries when it comes to our professional life and opportunities. This cou I would definitely recommend this course to my friends and for all the women who is interested in technology or just wants to try something new and challenging. This is a perfect introductory course to check if it is something you like. Maybe in the end it turns out that it is not your cup of tea bot it is still worth a try in my opinion. I personally really loved this course and I am happy I gave it a chance and I am looking forward to continue it :)

This was very fun, loved learning the basics of how to code!
This was class was definitely challenging, but so rewarding at the end. Halfway through this course, my planned life changes (career change/moving states) sped up the original timeline. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able stay committed to SheCodes. This course offered ways to postpone my weekly homework, and allowed me some time to get settled in my new location. I was able to pick right back up where I left off in my lessons with out any issues. I love that all the lessons and techniques I learned each week was applied to my final project. I'm able to compare my final project weather app to my weekly homework weather app and see the differences in my coding improve. It's truly wonder and I'm really looking forward to start the next set of SheCode classes!
Going into this workshop I had low expectations for myself and what I found in the first day was how much I loved this! Matt's teaching helped me understand coding in a way that nothing else I have done on my own has. I also was so thankful to have the community on slack to help answer my questions!
I loved doing this course, it was the perfect introduction to coding! There is a real sense of achievement through following and doing the challenges, as well as the homeworks. It has inspired me to continue with my coding journey.
I've always wanted to learn how to code but because I was trying to learn it myself, I struggled a lot and as a result I thought I'm just not cut out for this. She codes proved me wrong! I was motivated and I loved learning how to code here and I think She Codes is a great way for beginners to start.
SheCodes has been amazing. I started this bootcamp last year, but stop being active due to some life circumstances and just wasn't motivated anymore. The good thing about SheCodes is that you have lifetime access to your workshop once you start. I honestly love that about SheCodes. Life can happen and knowing you still have a supportive community to come back to makes this bootcamp even more amazing
