I loved SheCodes React, such great concepts and engaging content!
I absolutely love everything I am learning at SheCodes! Matt is an excellent teacher! Before I joined SheCodes I was planning to learn coding by myself, but I did not know where to start. I am really glad I decided to join SheCodes, I am looking forward towards learning more with the end goal of acquiring a career in the tech industry.

I really loved and immersed myself a lot more in the course. It was more challenging than SheCodes Basics but also a lot more fun!! Matt really guides you through the making of the entire project but you're also given enough freedom to make it your own and play around with the code, if you choose to. Learning how to implement API was one of the most challenging but rewarding parts of this course. Learning about GitHub was also very useful. I recommend this course to anyone who wants to get started on programming.
I loved Shecodes. It was a great experience. It helped me understand some fundamentals of coding and I feel confident in my journey especially with a certificate.

As a mom of two I found SheCodes Plus very challenging at times, and often frustrating just like Matt described, but in the end creating a weather app that works with real life data was an amazing feeling of achievement. I would highly recommend this workshop as the lessons are clear and concise, and you become a part of a community that's always ready to help. What I love the most? You get to learn at your pace, and if you need an extension or more time to grasp a lesson that is possible, its not like being in a classroom where you get left behind. Thank you so much to Matt and the team for this opportunity, I have learnt so much in such a short period of time.

I loved this introduction to coding, I always imagined it would be super inaccessible to me but I slowly picked everything up and found it very satisfying to watch the progress in real-time. Definitely worth the price.
After seeing SheCodes come up in my feed several times, I figured it was time to give coding a shot. I knew that my current career didn't make me happy so I wanted to try something new, and SheCodes made it so easy to learn coding. It builds on the knowledge you have from each lesson and then makes it easy to put it all together. I loved the basics class and I can't wait to learn more!
I am so happy I finished this project. At times it was extremely hard, confusing, and frustrating but the community on slack was so helpful! I feel that some of the concepts were too advanced for those coming out of SheCodes Basics, even with Matt's explanation, and some of the information is outdated. I would love to see the video tutorials updated to where Matt uses the SheCodes API! Other than those tiny qualms, this workshop was great!

Wow - and just like that, I created my first application! I loved every (challenging) minute of SheCodes Plus and I am amazed at the progress I have already made. A brilliant course! There was so much content and so much to learn. I loved learning all about animation. The challenges challenged me again, and Matt was so right when he said coding can be frustrating but really fun. I am proud of completing the project as I seemed to have so many personal time constraints during this course but somehow managed it. SheCodes Plus here I come :)

Honestly, this course was my absolute FAVORITE so far! I loved the journey for sure. In the other courses we worked through projects, but in this course, we built a full website! I loved that. I learned so much and am extremely grateful that I took this course. I recommend this course for sure!

Every time I finish another SheCodes Workshop I feel so much more confident in my coding skills! This project is definitely the closest one to my heart since it includes everything I've done so far during all the workshops! It was surreal to see the long way I have come from the first web page I have ever written in my life to making a weather app and now a portfolio to show to potential employers!! I loved learning about responsiveness and it has become my favorite part to work on when building a page!

I love the way lessons are building up at Plus. Even though I went through some of the videos a few times just to understand, I always learned something. Enlightenment, the Aha... The final project was very cool and I loved that we got to learn how to create a responsive website with pure HTML and CSS.

This workshop is a solid 10/10. Matt is a great teacher and on top of that, the extra resources from SheCodes like the colour palette and image uploader just makes the learning process even smoother. I also love that the deadlines helped me stay on track. i can't wait to start the next workshop.

I have just completed the final project of SheCodes Basics and I LOVED it ! I could not imagine I would be able to build my first web page after only 3 weeks of workshops ! I am excited to pursue this journey with SheCodes :)

I did shecodes basics last long time ago and now I decided to continue with shecodes as lessons are easy to understand and I love the idea of learning something and putting that knowledge into practice which is the best way to learn coding. I had fun doing the basics add-on workshop where I built a landing page with some JavaScript.
Nice and very useful project 💯 I can use this project to create my own portfolio as a great addition for job application or to showcase my skills ( and future skills). I really love it and can totally recommend it if you´'re searching for a source that teaches you how to create a portfolio!
I didn't have a clue what coding was about, so I decided to join SheCodes to check if I liked and I LOVED IT.
Another SheCodes workshop that I've loved! Matt's teaching style makes it really easy to grasp and retain the knowledge. It was fun learning how to create some animations on my landing page and learning some more JavaScript. I feel as though I'm becoming more and more passionate about coding with each workshop. I haven't had any coding since I finished the first basic course, yet I could come back to where I was supposed to for coding HTML, CSS, and JS! The revision part is always easy to miss so I loved that Matt always reminds us of the part we went through.

I loved learning more about how to make a website responsive! There is so much more to it than I ever realized! Matt's instruction was spot-on, as always!
The lesson plans were easy to follow, fun and engaging! I knew nothing about coding before starting the workshop and now know how to build a (very basic) website. Love that there was flexibility to learn at your own pace and the possibility to push back deadlines if required. The support team were also very helpful.

Loved the use of emojis. It brought a trendy vibe to the website. I already had a grasp on html and css before starting SheCodes basic. My main concern was JS. SheCodes was wonderful in this regard. Excited to get more into JS!
I absolutely loved this. I learned so much from doing it myself. The instructions were clear and concise that even as someone that gets lost with all the tech jargon, I managed to follow along easily. Honestly, best course I've taken so far!
I loved this! Thanks for everything, this was a great lil intro to get into coding. I WISH I HAD TIME TO SIGN UP FOR THE BIG WORKSHOP. I really wish I could just roll straight into the MAX workshop. But now I've started school and this is going to be a huge uphill battle for me to go from band director and musician to IT. Yikes! I will keep this in mind for later. It is soooo tempting, to keep the party going, but I will end up failing both sides. But again, I enjoyed this so much the FOMO IS REAL!!! I do recommend the workshops, even just the 3 week one to learn a few basics to get you going.

Being part of this ladies coding platform has been a transformative experience for me. The structure of the curriculum, having to do projects in each and every chapter we've completed helped me gain a deep understanding of the mark-up languages and programming. The supportive learning environment fostered collaboration and growth . I recommend SheCodes to anyone what would love to kick-start their coding journey.

This is probably the best thing I have ever done for myself. Learning these skills has been one of the most rewarding experiences. I love that I am challenging myself. The lessons made it so you still had to figure things out for yourself, which really makes figuring things out yourself an even more satisfying experience.

Hi😊 I am Olwethu, a student from South Africa. I have always been fascinated by coding, and it has been a goal of mine to learn how to code. I am really grateful to SheCodes for creating such an opportunity for women to learn to code, a goal that I thought would be unattainable has become attainable. I have thoroughly enjoyed every lesson and task that we have done, I am always showing my loved ones my projects and the new skills that have learnt. Furthermore, coding has become my escape, whenever I am stressed by my academics and other things happening around me coding has helped in relieving my stress and anxiety. I hope that all the skills and knowledge I am gaining from SheCodes will help me gain opportunities in the tech industry.

SheCodes Basics was fantastic! I'd never had any experience with coding before and I found this to be a great introduction. I work in learning design, and I loved the way the learning was paced, the short videos with an applied learning activity were fab. Can't wait to take another course!

Coding & designing, what's not to love
This workshop was so much fun! And I really love React and now I'm hungry to learn more. I'm so thankfully that I found the SheCodes workshops. They literally changed my life and I found a new interest to pursue. Matt is such a good instructor who explains everything so good. And now I'm more confident because I have a good basis with React.
The course is 100% practice, the information provided is clear and in a way that it is easy to understand. Also, lots of resources are given to use during our course. I loved it.
I loved this workshop. What a cool challenge to tie all of the projects I have been working on together while also designing and coding an entire interactive website from scratch. All of the elements coming together. I feel like I am just scratching the surface!

This year, I made the deliberate choice to dive back into my coding journey after giving up in 2018. I overcome my coding fears and rediscovered my love for coding, thanks to the guidance of SheCodes. I must commend Matt for being an amazing instructor! My name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey so far has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Manangement and I was not happy with what I've studyed but because I wanted to have a qulification and get a job so I can earn a living so i went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some bootcamp and I fall inlove with it but to enroll to that bootcamp you needed funding which I did'nt have. So I did my reserch and I ended up founding SheCodes Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity still on it and excicted for more learning and more adventure in coding 💜 plus I have completed my shecodes plus and responsive it was challenging but yet amazing experience the fact that I now have my first project that operates with real life data it amazes me I’m learning a lot can not wait for my next lessons and project ❤️”

SheCodes really made me LOVE coding!! At first, I chose to follow the SheCodes Basics class for personal and general knowledge but now, I developed a true enjoyment for coding. I will probably continue to invest in other classes to pursue my coding journey! 😁

Basics Add-On was a good exercise and extension after having completed the Basics workshop. I love that I can make the webpage more visually dynamic. The course took me a day to complete. Hands down, the sequence of the workshops was amazing. Once you have mastered or drilled in the basic steps, it is really easy to move forward from there. However, I did encounter two issues that I wasn't able to solve alone, and asking for help on Slack wasn't fruitful. Luckily, I have resources at home. With that said, having a team on Slack does provide me with an emotional safety net.
