I've been trying to learn HTML and CSS on and off for a few years. Every time I would dive into it, I would not finish because I found it to be too confusing. This course is laid out in a way where you learn very easily. You're learning concepts and how they work instead of memorizing functions. I really loved it and found it easy to learn HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I'm very excited to continue on and keep learning in the next courses. The basic course alone is well worth the money. If you're thinking about doing it, you should.

This was such an incredibly rewarding experience for me. The learning experience was both enjoyable and easy to grasp, thanks to Matt. It's perfect for beginners too. I've truly fallen in love with coding! It's definitely a skill worth adding to your list.
I started learning coding with shecodes 3 weeks back. This was my first time I have never done coding before . Honestly I enjoyed every exercise given to me though they could be very frastrating. Matt's teaching style is awusome,I loved the group or channel that i could join to ask for help.Those channels were very helpful,they made the begining of my coding jounery very easy. I am grateful for this opportunity and I am looking forward to more of coding .

The best coding workshop ever because every lesson provide clear and straight instruction. Flexible to women working a full time job as you can change the date course. Whenever you need help about your coding, you can just ask help on Slack and someone will help you right after. Overall, I love SheCodes as I have a lot of passion in coding and I learned a lot about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Thank you SheCodes.
I love this project-based learning approach. You can see the real-life application of what you are building, which makes it more fun to learn more about other features that you add to make it better. Google anything you don't know or remember 😆. Creating this App with friends in mind made it even more fun to learn.

I loved diving into the world of programming without any prior knowledge. Everything gets well explained in easy to understand language. The Shecodes team and other candidates was very supportive and were there to help when someone got stuck. I can't wait to continue my coding journey with the next instalment of the Shecodes workshops.

I loved SheCodes Basics. The short learning videos are almost always accompanied by a practical exercise so it makes it really hands on. I liked that the videos are to-the-point, concise and don't go in too much details. It's not a 3-hour long lecture : after 15min, you're actually getting your hands dirty and learning actionable stuff! For me, it was the reassuring phrases from Matt like "don't worry, nothing's going to explode, it's just not good practice to do it like this" or "this might be confusing but do it like this for now and it'll all come together in the next video" or "ok, this is a hard exercise but you can do it and don't forget the community and tools that can help you" and of course : "Happy coding!".
I have fallen in love with coding, thanks to SheCode for making coding easy and fun.

Participating in the SheCodes Responsive Add-on was a transformative experience where I mastered Pure CSS Grids, Responsive CSS Grids, HTML Tables, CSS Filters, HTML Embeds, and CSS Hero. This comprehensive skill set enabled me to create a website dedicated to my love for books. It wasn't just about learning to code; it was about blending my passion for literature with new technical abilities, showcasing how technology can amplify our interests and stories in the most beautiful ways.

The past weeks l have been learning to code with SheCodes have been nothing short of extraordinary. I have learnt skills such as time management since the assignments have to be submitted after every week which allows for consistency and discipline. I love how the courses are grouped into short videos which are so easy to understand. With the help of Slack ,I have been able to correct my mistakes through the help of others. Slack has been a great instrument in teamwork and effective communication .I am so grateful to be a part of this opportunity.
SheCodes Plus provided the perfect blend of challenge and growth. I loved how we could immediately put theory into practice, tackling real-world coding challenges and seeing immediate results. The project was both stimulating and practical, allowing me to see tangible results and build confidence in my abilities. SheCodes Plus challenged me to apply what I learned in creative ways, enhancing my problem-solving skills.
'Coding is hard and rocket science that I will never explore'- this was my first thought before the workshop. Now after the workshop, all I can say is 'coding is a new passion, I have discovered and got to love and not complex as I thought'.

This bootcamp has been nothing short of transformative for me. The curriculum was thoughtfully crafted, challenging me to expand my skills. I learnt response and bettered my java-script. learned technics that allow me to be able to build web pages that accommodate any kind of device. I loved the portfolio we bult, proof of all we have learned through she codes. The guidance provided by the instructors has been exemplary, not only in terms of technical expertise but also in fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone feels empowered to thrive.
I can confidently say that these technologies have transformed the way I create and design websites. Also SheCodes made it easy for having things like palettes and gradients,CSS brings life to the visuals although it requires A little more Practice because that was literally most of my struggle especially because I love good designs, and JavaScript OH MY WORD: it's literally the coolest even though I am so used to Java Annotations I managed to juggle around it from knowing an equal sign to being == to === Interesting. Also for years and years I have been using my laptop however I never knew the short cuts of using emojis , I will sure abuse it for days now, well That's just me But on the Reals now, HTML is pretty much straight forward the trick comes to making your visuals more Fascinating by using CSS...but Overall Matt Delac makes it easy and fun These technologies are the cornerstone of modern web development, and I look forward to exploring their endless possibilities in future projects.
I have never done coding before, but it was something that I had always wanted to do, but I did not know how or where to start, so thanks to Shecodes. I have fallen even more in love with coding and am more passionate about it. I am even now more determined to go further in it; my desire is to pursue it as a career. Shecodes has taught me a lot about coding. While learning coding, I was in awe. Now I know how websites are built and the interaction one can have with them.
I love working with Matt, he explains everything step by step and it sticks.
The difficulty or ease with which you learn of a programming language depends on the teacher and SheCodes has made it really easier to understand and learn the basics of front-end web development. Matt breaks everything down so easily and has gotten me to love Javascript. I can't wait to further my knowledge and skills and become a front-end developer, thanks to SheCodes

Learning coding through SheCodes has been such an exciting journey for me. Never in a million years did I believe I'd fall in love with coding because I had believed you needed to know maths and science, which have never been my favorite subjects, but today I can firmly say I was wrong and none of the above-mentioned subjects are needed. I'm so excited about this new Journey and I hope it gets better and better. Without SheCodes, I would have never found this new passion and for that, I am grateful for this opportunity.

I loved the AI add-on. I didn't realize how easy it was to use, but once you understand the key parts of implementing it, you have the freedom to create anything. Now I feel confident using it in other projects.
I'm a professional touring musician and looking to try to stay a little more stationary which will perhaps come with a bit of career transitioning. I loved the SheCodes Basic Course and am interested in learning more coding and pursuing it is a remote career option!

This might be the most fun I have had in coding and creating my first AI generator. I am happy I completed this course because the doubts and fears of learning to code AI was not as intimidating as I thought. Matt is a great instructor and he makes it possible for you to learn how to code. I love seeing the results of what you are able to create. I highly recommend it!
The World Clock app is an interesting and fun add-on project to code. I especially love learning about Moment.js (what a lifesaver it is!) and incorporating new functionalities outside the project criteria to challenge myself. I was able to apply what I've learned from past workshops to code another awesome app!
The limitless potential of code has been evident to me since learning React JS; I'd love to try it on other projects.
SheCodes basics left me with more than basic knowledge! I built a landing page with confidence. I loved how the intro to JS was clear and easy to follow. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a stable start at web languages.
I have learned so much since I started with she codes basics. I really loved this project, as AI is everywhere currently, so it was interesting to see how I could incorporate it into my own projects.
I loved learning everything I did in this course. There were many challenges and definitely some frustrating moments. Having challenges teaches you to be a better developer and is such a blessing! This course teaches you how to do things from the ground up. It has also taught how to catch bugs in your code and learn to debug it yourself. It has been such a blessing to learn all the new things that I have!

I love how each new lesson builds up on the knowledge of the previous one, and SheCode Basics Add-On was no exception. This next phase of the course was a lot of learning, fun challenges and resulted in great new skills! I didn't know much about coding before starting this course, and three days later, seeing what I learned and can do, I am quite proud of my achievements in this course!

I signed up for SheCodes because I needed a new career path after being a stay at home parent for the last 11 years. I have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from about 14 years ago and things were so different back then!
