For a long time i wasn't sure what i wanted to do and i tried so many things. I knew always that my love was towards computers and technology. I tried a couple of times to learn programming by myself, but sadly it was so overwhelming and chaotic. Also i didn't have anyone to share my questions or my troubles which made it very frustrating and underwhelming. After 2 years and my life being not very easy i was thinking about my future and what i really love. And the answer was always there: Coding. But i was afraid and i didn't know how to start, till i found out about SheCodes and this amazing community with a really friendly CEO and an incredible teacher, Matt, who helped me found my passion again and this time in a very solid way. My journey won't stop here with the Basic Course, rather the opposite. My journey has just started. ☺

I have received support from your boot camp by your team and also from students from slack chats. This boot camp allowed me to think independently. Through projects and after lesson challenges it showed me that I can achieve everything I set my mind to. Slack chats allowed me to work in team with students on slack chats to solve code. This is indeed a great code learning platform.🙂

Coding has been something that I have longed to learn for a while. Previously I followed many youtube video but because i did not know which one is the correct path I ended up getting discouraged and stopped. Today I'm super proud of myself for completing the first step to my journey of becoming a Front-End developer. I am very thankful to Matt and the SheCodes team for bringing me this opportunity. With Matt's step by step explanations I managed to learn many new things and applied them to the exercises that we are given. The explanations are so clear and straight forward. I've really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop. Mattheau is really good at explaining everything and has a great logic on how to introduce and relate each topic in a way that it all makes sense and is easy to understand. I was totally new to coding and it´s been a challenge at times to understand some of the things Matt has been asking me to do! But it´s also been a lot of fun and it´s so rewarding to see my finished project. I´ve definitely caught the coding bug, and will be looking for new challenges to hone my skills. I´ d definitely recommend to anyone completely new to coding - the step by step videos, challenges and solutions are a great way to learn.

I've already learned so much from the basics course, I'm excited to learn more with all of She Code's courses. I had limited knowledge in coding before the class, and was fairly intimidated by JavaScript, but I feel now that I have a better grasp on functions.
This one was a challenging one but I enjoyed it! It helped me to solidify all the concepts learnt about react. I liked that we used more than one api on the project.
I've previously been too intimidated to dive into some of these more popular frameworks for fear of them going totally over my head. It was so easy to learn since it was broken up into tiny steps with lots of opportunities to practice the concepts of the week!
I am a beginner and before the course had zero knowledge in coding, but Matt explained everything step by step knowing what mistakes beginners usually do and prevented them. I really like it! Matt makes coding really really fun and exciting. I also like that all the challenges really require a bit of Google or analyzing, not just re-creacting stuff. This is how I have learnt something extra stuff. I also like that after every challenge we can watch a solution and there is always something new there. Thank you so much! Can't wait to keep learning!

You learn every day and Matt really takes you through the process of a developer. This is definitely the best way I've learnt to code and seeing the results of my project on my phone and laptop screen is all the more exciting!

SheCodes Plus was so fun! I was so stoked to have created my very own live website! There were a couple times where I didn't understand the JavaScript, but rewatching the videos helped so much! Matt really explains the JavaScript thought process so well & he's not super technical with his explanation so anyone can understand him. I like how he mentions the common mistakes & he vocalizes his thought process even when the coding goes wrong - it reassuring. 😅 hehe. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed SheCodes Plus, but I still feel like there is plenty more to learn! Can't wait for the next workshop! - Happy Coder 😁
After completing Shecodes basics, I had to keep going and push myself. After completing plus, I feel incredibly accomplished. This program was tough to understand at first but there was no easier way to learn than under Matt's guidance. I had all the resources I needed to be successful. I was not thrown to the wolves. I will continue on my Shecodes journey here and keep learning and growing. I absolutely love these programs and I am excited for the doors this new knowledge will open for me.

I absolutely loved SheCodes Responsive, creating a portfolio was a much more interactive experience using the knowledge I learned in the previous courses. I decided to go for the photography portfolio to showcase some of my pictures taken over the years. With my previous knowledge, I was able to build a responsive website which also looked good! This project was one of the most exciting ones, as I was able to show what I am passionate about.

SheCode plus kept me on my feet. I would not lie it is interesting and keeps you thinking. It made me improve my analytical skills. Sometimes we over think things hence we see them difficult but once you do it you realize it is worth thinking and spending time on. Coming from my background as a musician, coding feels both unfamiliar and also similar to learning a new language, like French or music. Even if it all seems new at first, elements become more familiar with use. The lesson videos move quickly but they're packed with information and you can always go back to review.
An amazing course that learns you so much in a short period of time, but is still easy to follow. With descreptive videos and challenges throughout it is easy to keep up with all the information and new knowledge.
SheCodes React course was really curious and quite challenging. I got deep knowledges and learned a lot of vital and necessary coding information which I will use day by day in order to start my career in this field. As I had a several month gap between my coding courses, this course refreshed my acquired knowledges and gave me a hope for a great start.

It was quite difficult but dispute the challenges I really enjoyed learning about code and one day I hope to master it and Matt is quite the teacher.
I NEVER KNEW I CAN CODE because I tried to self learn years prior and it never worked for me. I loved my experience because SheCodes has a team within my reach for help and yet I chose frustration and tried to solve things on my own and I was happy with my choices because I never knew i actually have the mental capacity to solve hard things. oh... and I did somehow abused my extension but every frustration was worth it because some lessons were more harder to comprehend and understand than others FOR ME. :)
This coding journey has really been amazing. Looking at my final project made me smile☺I've always wondered how websites are designed so that they fit mobile browsing as well. Learning to make sites responsive was difficult, stressful but worth it. The SheCodes Foundation has given such a beautiful gift, I am forever grateful! Thank you to the team for all the support.

The responsive add-on workshop was challenging to me, but it gave me a lot of knowledge of how to create a responsive website. I had fun learning about embeds, and how a responsive website should look like. If you haven't learning that much about responsive website, this would be the workshop for you.

I have already some knowledge with the basic coding before I registered for SheCodes, I had a big fear that it's gonna be such wast of time, but I was totally wrong, the course was super fun, and Matt had explain everything in a very simple way, makes me believe that I can do it. also my whole life I was nurse and working in Hospitals. I never had work or learn anything about coding before last year, when I decided to give it a chance, and after maybe one or two months I gave up. I have really enjoyed this course! I always thought I would never be able to code, since I have never been particularly good in maths or scientific subjects. However, Matt has taught us that there's no need to be good in these disciplines to learn how to code. And he was right! I am looking forward to seeing where this journey will take me next :)
