This add-on course was a perfect way to grasp a better understanding of CSS classes and dig deeper into different ways to manipulate CSS using Javascript. This mini-course greatly exceeded my expectations! I'm really looking forward to applying that knowledge and learning more as I progress to SheCodes Plus.

Two and a half years ago, I moved from Buenos Aires to Spain, eager to continue my career in surgery as a Surgical Instrument Technician. However, I faced an initial setback due to the intricacies of the country's bureaucracy. Undeterred by the challenges, and with 13 years of experience in surgical settings back in Argentina, I persisted in my pursuit. Eventually, I secured a position as a surgical assistant in a clinic that urgently required my expertise. For a year and a half, I contributed my skills diligently. Unexpectedly, and without any clear explanation, my employment abruptly ended, leaving me at a crossroads. I absolutely loved my experience with SheCodes! The course was incredibly well-structured and easy to follow, even for someone like me who had no prior coding experience. It was an exciting experience that helped me with focus and determination. Tho i struggled at some point but i have pulled through. The instructor explained really well, classes were not stressful because the lectures were well taught. The projects and challenges were engaging and gave me a real sense of accomplishment as I progressed through the course. The highlights for me was the final project, where I had the chance to build a website from scratch. SheCodes has been a wild jorney! I sure didn't expect to be as cool and as challeging as it was, and the best part of it it's to look at what you did during the program: the pages and pieces of code you just never expected that you'd be able to do. Matt is very didatic, the classes are short and the homeworks are fun. Besides, the Final Project (bit harder than you may think it) is challeging enough to test your abilities while letting you feel free to be all creative and just have fun while seeing your abstract ideas becoming something solid. I loved it every single minute of the program, and all the work done was very fun (and difficult). I am excited to keep on learning!

SheCodes Responsive was a lot more challenging, but still a good experience learning new material. This course encourages me to do more with the Add-on courses, and later to learn about React. I'm continually improving myself. I highly recommend trying more than one course!

I haven't coded in what feels like centuries. It is different from learning to ride a bike or driving a car; once you stop practicing, the skill is gone. So I made a promise to myself that I would learn coding once more, and I needed a great bootcamp or short course to meet all the learning requirements I set for myself as a web developer. When I enrolled in this course I was on holiday from Med school and wanted to learn a little something on the side that wouldn't be too tasking and also allowed me to have fun while learning. That's when my friend send me a link to SheCodes. The tech community is so overrun with men that i never wanted to get into the community as women are usually shadows in the art. I loved how the platform was made just for women and it provided a safe space while learning, It helped you take your time and also was very flexible in terms of how fast you work. This is a course you can do over your own time and also you can spend even 30 minutes of your day to attend a few lessons. Everything was made easy and when things got hard you could ask your friends on the slack platform or the Athena AI which made learning so much easier. I'm glad I took the time to enroll into this short course and I'll definitely be back for more.
