I feel so much more empowered as a Coder, from enrolling in SheCodes. I enjoyed the Basics workshop, and it enjoyed the format. Before, I watched other videos on coding, but found it too dry to continue learning. Years ago, I attempted a Computer Programming major, but had to change it, due to instructors' approach to instruction that was counterintuitive. Thank you Matt, for empowering many women, including myself, in our entry into the tech field. You are a great teacher! Of all coding programs out there, this is the most special and unique one. JavaScript was the most challenging to learn, but I still learned it better here, than from anyone else. Soon, I look forward to being paid to build landing pages.

I really enjoyed learning html , JavaScript and mostly CSS .CSS is a wide language and it's amazing what one can do with it . l can only compare CSS to an eyeshadow palette. Just as an eyeshadow palette offers a range of coordinated colors to enhance eye makeup, CSS provides a palette of styling options to beautify and harmonize the visual elements of a website.

I think SheCodes offers an easy and clean way to learn. I like that the lessons are segmented into small parts and that they don't get ahead of what we are learning with more complex concepts. This is the first time I feel that I am up to the challenge of what I am learning and that I can complete the exercises.

SheCodes Plus was definitely way more challenging than SheCodes Basics and basics add-on. However, thanks to Matt's detailed explanation of each step, the learner doesn't feel lost or out of place.
I embarked on the journey of learning how to code with both excitement and a touch of trepidation. Little did I know that this endeavor would become one of the most transformative experiences of my life. The initial days were like deciphering a cryptic language. I am a Full Time Registered Nurse at the bedside that has been looking for an alternate career path. I decided to dip my toes into the tech world with SheCodes because it let me do just that without committing to an entire 8-24 month long commitment at a formal university; and I am so glad I did it because I'm learning how much projects matter more than an institution name and 4 year programs! I also love that they offer shorter workshops to try out coding before committing to a larger investment, which many alternatives require of prospective students without them even having tried coding. The learning segments are easy to digest, homework and challenges are very straight forward and they teach you real life ways to find help before reaching out to their technical support. It is very organized and easy to follow. All in all, I have to say I'm impressed. I've only done the 3 week workshop and already have a project that I can put on my portfolio and that has given me the confidence to proceed with the SheCodes Max. Web design and front-end development is something I've always wanted to have a go at but never quite new where to start, finding this course has been a great help as it's given me good base understanding of it with helpful tutorials and having a practice with each new step learned was incredibly helpful. This has really sparked an interest in coding and web development and something I want to continue.

The organization of the course, all the supportive materials and access to SheCodes Athena-AI coding assistant are the tools I use to learn and write my code. I know I can return to the lessons for clarification when needed. I appreciate Matt's acknowledgement that the material can be challenging to understand. He demonstrates that if the code doesn't work the first time, don't panic, just try to use the clues and find where it breaks and try again.
