Very excited with what I could learn with SheCodes ! The lessons are dynamic, efficient, and easy to understand. It doesn't matter what your IT level is, Matt will make sure you will be a pro at the end of the course.
I always had an interest in coding but didnt know the resources or basics. SheCodes made it way simplier for me to be more encouraged and continue with my interest in coding. The basics program was really fun and what i liked most were the challenges and positive feedback from shecodes team. Matt really is the teacher we all need for our coding journey and hes tutorials are simplified for us to enjoy and learn. I feel really blessed to have been chosen to attend this program.
I found it to be very easy to learn coding step by step. It provides a good learning environment especially for the beginner because it is not that intense. Also, the instructor is audible enough and thoroughly explains everything for learners to grasp the content at their level best.

Tough but beneficial course, I thought I knew JavaScript till I did SheCodes Plus. The course is just proof enough that we keep learning new stuff on a daily basis.
I studied art and work in a coffee shop. I had 0 experience in coding and I was worried I wouldn't be able to understand a THING. Coincidentally, this workshop makes it so simple to understand and learn. I couldn't believe I was flying through the lessons. I even looked forward to it daily. I must say that the final project has been one of my favorite things I've completed this year so far. I feel inspired and motivated to continue learning.

Building the weather application in React was tricky but the step-by-step videos broke down the process. I am proud that I have learnt to use React and used functions, use states and Axios for this project.
So far it has been super easy to learn. All weeks are very well structured, and the method of presenting new information is fun and motivating to learn even more. Also, i find very interesting the way we are teased to go learn on our own and it really feels like a game to me. Pretty happy by now :) I'm excited to see what's next!

Great workshop! Learning React was both challenging and inspiring. There were many moments that could have easily overwhelmed me (and sometimes did!), but as Matt says, "Take a breath and slow it down." When you break down the components into simpler steps, it becomes very achievable and makes a lot of sense. Thanks Matt and the SheCodes team!
After the Weather App, the Time Zone app is another milestone for me. I learned how to manipulate different locations dates and times. Also, I tried using some more advanced CSS which I learned in my previous lessons in the current project.

As someone with zero experience in coding, I had a rough start with SheCodes basic. Once I got the hang of it though, it all started to click and I enjoyed the challenge. Shecodes crossed my path through my TikTok 'for you page', the gal was talking about a free coding workshop. I thought "It's free, why not check it out?". I missed the live workshop and to my surprise, I received a email with a recording of the workshop. While watching the workshop, I was thoroughly engaged through the entire video and thought "Oh my goodness, this is cool!" I knew I wanted to learn coding! I immediately contacted Shecodes to register. Silly me, I choose to start the workshop right before the holidays, which halted my progress a bit. After the beginning of the year, I began to focus. Learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript through the basics workshop has been exciting although I didn't realize it was going to come with some other emotional experiences. It was fun, challenging and frustrating; I even cried a few times. Through all of it, figuring things out, being able to complete the challenges and the homework; then have everything make sense with the Project is beyond personally rewarding! SheCodes React has enabled me to learn about the framework React and put my knowledge into practice. Ever since I started coding with shecode, I have learnt a lot from shecode, and I will gladly recommend friends and family who are interested in coding to Shecode.
Really enjoyed this workshop, can feel lots of the things I have learnt coming together. I find that I'm recognising errors in my code quicker, working out where mistakes are by methodically going back through the code or recognising that something changed or ammended resulted in the code not working and something that has been replying that Matt said about it being trial and error felt somewhat comforting when I was stuck on a problem and had tried a number of ways to fix it before finding the solution... As always everyone is very supportive in the Slack community, and for the sometimes intense mental challlenge this took out of me, I have a great project at the end that was fin to create.
I am thrilled to graduate from a comprehensive React course. This workshop was very in-depth and included instruction about how to build a responsive website from scratch with all the components previously learned-HTML, CSS as well as adding Bootstrap and ensuring it would be clearly visible on other devices such as iPads and mobile phones.
