This React workshop compared to the Basics or Plus workshops does not solidy concepts as much. I felt as though I didn't learn as much as before and most of the concepts were only brushed upon in the videos.
Started SheCodes to advance my technical writing career by learning coding. Very grateful for the structured format and easy lessons to follow along with. I have learned a lot!

Its been super fun and a real crash course in to the world of coding. Great, bite-sized classes, where all the pieces of the puzzle started to come together one after another. Real fun realising I actually understood what I was learning and that I now know the basics of coding. Already signed up for the Plus workshop and cant wait to develop further!

I really enjoyed learning HTML, CSS and advanced javascript. I will say that the most difficult part in my journey was learning Javascript but all thanks to Matt he made my journey easy and explained things very well.

Great learning schedules and deadlines. I was definitely pushed to excel and learn so many different things about coding that I absolutely knew nothing about.
React was a bit hectic although I learnt a lot of advanced shortcuts towards coding, it was a lot of work, but I easy understood everything with the help of Matt and Discord.
Quick course, but very informative, learned lots of new things, and it's helping me develop my own style for pages and methods of coding. Can't wait for the next module!

So far so good, i'm on my fourth week of learning to code with SheCodes and it's so amazing. I have learned some Javascript concepts that i had some difficulty with earlier on. It's great how this is flexible and you can Learn at your own convenience.
The React course was truly a great learning experience. I've learned so much about front-end development than I thought I would. I love the way the courses are structured, I feel like it gives you a great foundation of knowledge, and I feel confident enough to start my own projects and learn more about how to code with React. The SheCodes AI Athena tool was incredibly helpful to explain any concepts that were covered throughout the weeks, and provided just a bit of extra helpful information to help me fully grasp the concepts that were taught. I am really grateful for the SheCodes team and what these courses can provide for anyone interested in front-end development.
The SheCodes Responsive-Add on has allowed me to deeper my understanding of responsive design. It has also enabled me to gain more knowledge using pure CSS without having to rely on frameworks such as: Bootstrap. This program offered a balance between creativity and a strong foundational approach, enabling me to explore new ideas while maintaining a solid skill set. I enjoyed building projects related to what I am passionate about it, and I learned valuable techniques such as embedding videos and media, creating tables and grids, making the learning experience both enjoyable and informative.
The classes are great to learn and you get help when you get stuck.

Learn CSS ahead of time, be smarter

This online web development course was a great investment of my time and money. The instructor was knowledgeable, the course was self-paced, and the practical approach to learning was excellent. Firstly I am highly grateful to SheCodes for allowing me to have the opportunity to learn how to code. Even though SheCodes Basics is beginner level I faced some struggles during the 3-4 weeks of this workshop due to time management, considering this was my first time ever coding and I am currently still in University studying doing a lot of group projects. However, I was able to push myself beyond my normal limit and I can definitely say that I am proud of myself. I hope to continue making myself proud with each new milestones
I joined this programme thinking I'd have a mountain to climb but I'm glad to say it was more of a walk in the park. There were quite a number of things to learn within a short span of time however, Matt made every concept so simple and easy to grasp, which is very commendable. SheCodes Plus has been by far the hardest thing I have encountered in my education. It challenged me to think independently within the information taught. I created my first application and I was able to share it. I feel very motivated to continue learning after this workshop. This extension of the basics was a great way to boost the skills I've acquired during the previous workshop. It was fun interacting more with CSS using the gradient features and controlling themes by incorporating a "dark" feature. It was also great learning how to change and manipulate images to boost the way we see and interact with a website.
Responsive was a good challenge. Every course truly builds upon each other. I was very excited to learn bootstrap.
SheCodes is a great program. I learned a lot about coding.
I never thought coding or just creating a landing page would be something I could learn and do!!! I am actually still in disbelief after creating my own landing page (I think my personal creativity let me down though lol). I have also heard that JavaScript is so complex before learning how to code, and honestly I really understand the basics. Matt is such a great teacher and the SheCodes team as well as Athena (SheCodes' AI assistant) are always a great extra help. I 100% recommend this workshop to beginners especially those who are doubting they could ever learn how to code.

I learned how to harness the power of Bootstrap, Figma, and other tools while building on the coding knowledge from previous workshops. As always, Matt did a great job explaining concepts in simple terms. It was a fun experience to create a responsive multi-page portfolio.

Purchasing the SheCodes Basics course was a spontaneous decision for me. That being said, I do not regret it, not a single second. Originally I thought that coding just was not for me, and I could not do it, as I had failed to learn Python at University. I am elated to say: not only did I have fun, but I came out of this experience more confident and knowledgeable!

Before starting this course, I knew a little about code, but I learned so much more while here. It gave me the confidence to build a landing page correctly. There is so much support from other members and the staff in case you get stuck - which i did for the more technical side and received my answers quickly. The videos are easy to follow, so much so that I was able to watch them while looking after a baby.
The SheCodes program fosters a strong sense of community and collaboration. Through interactive webinars, coding challenges, and a vibrant online platform, I had the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds. Engaging with fellow students and sharing insights and experiences enriched my learning and provided a support network that continues to inspire me.
This has been the best programme to learn coding. You can learn at your own pace and you have all the help you need. I have learnt a lot and it is very exciting to be able to create something from scratch.

Coming from a zero coding background, it was slightly daunting to embark on this course but it was a personal challenge so I just got on with it. Really happy to have completed it.
