I loved the program and I'm currently looking to sign up for the next workshop. It was a great mixed of fun, creativity, learning, and each project helped you to expand your mind and look for different ways to write your code and have the same or better results.
👍 I enjoyed organizing the information I learned during the workshop to create my first webpage. I had a few frustrating moments leading up to the final project, but the drive and excitement of completing the assignment was well worth it. If you are up to a challenge and want to try something new, I would suggest SheCodes.
What I liked most about SheCodes is its practical approach. Instead of simply learning theoretical concepts, I was able to apply what I learned immediately through practical projects. This hands-on learning methodology helped me consolidate my knowledge and gain confidence in my programming skills. Additionally, the SheCodes team is always available to help and answer any questions that may arise. The SheCodes community is also incredibly supportive and motivating. Being able to connect with other students and share experiences has been invaluable in my learning journey.
Coding is totally new to me. I dedicated all my life to health and science. I've always liked programming/tech, but I've never studied it, so I'm in a completely new area. It's been challenging, but at the same time it's been great to step out of my comfort zone. I'm loving this workshop and it's really easy to learn coding with SheCodes ☺️

I'm enjoying learning this new skill set from Matt and the SheCodes team, there are definitely times where it is frustrating and complicated but Matt's videos are pretty detailed and the team is available to help on Slack. I never would have thought I would have been able to build a "weather app."

Out of all the online course to learn coding, this has helped me the most. The way Matt explains things without necessarily using technical jargon straight away has helped me understanding things more than I thought I would. In actual fact, I didn't think I would get this far or be able to code at all!
It is always requires a lot of courage to make a step towards your dreams. For me, IT was always a broad concept associated with excessive amount of terms and rules and you need to know which one to choose from millions of them to implement into functionable project. Seemed pretty difficult until I decided not to judge the book by its cover. I am pretty excited that I made a decision to start coding with SheCodes. Since the very start the team led by instructor Matt was super supportive. Matt has this ability to put it straight to the core making the process of learning fun and efficient.
It has been an amazing 3 weeks, I have learnt so much and I did not think I would be able to even do this and get to this point. I am so grateful and I am even more excited to learn more. The project was a lot of fun.

I can honestly say despite the challenges I faced. I had a fun time learning how to do the basics in coding. I'm excited for the next workshop and will definitely use any notes and printouts I made to keep going forward. The simplest thing can mess up your code from; spacing, wrong quotation, putting the wrong ending or even spelling. So take your time, breathe, and keep trying even when it seems like you did the same thing over and over. You got this.

In the beginning starting the foundation, it was exciting to start learning something new but at the same time anxious because I did not know anything about coding. Getting started with the workshops under the leadership and guidance of Mat has been great because he explains very well and it is easy to understand his teaching method. Doing the homework and projects was challenging but a good way to practice what was taught.
This workshop was really fun! I really enjoyed how challenging it was and all the new things I learned. This definitely felt a lot more advanced as well!
I am refreshing on a lot of coding skills while learning new tricks and coding styles. It is very fun to work on the projects and see my code working in real time.

This workshop provided me with insights into advanced CSS techniques. Additionally, I received an introduction to the Document Object Model (DOM), during which I learned how to locate DOM elements using selectors and experimented with events. I recommend this add-on.

Although the videos are quite comprehensive, you do have to spend time figuring out other things for yourself. But it's all part of the learning process - and it is quite fun.

Getting through the SheCodes Plus programme was a lot of fun for me. The use of an API to make a real-life application along with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript made the learning process both interesting and rewarding. Before taking the SheCodes Responsive course, I had a basic understanding of HTML and CSS, but my websites looked clunky on different devices. This course completely changed that! Matthew explains React very simply and fluently so that anyone who is not familiar with any framework can easily understand it. But this course is far from the complete topics of React and maybe only 20% of React was discussed. I suggest that after completing this course, look for learning more about React
