Always found coding intimidating and the thought of learning how to code very overwhelming but, learning with SheCodes made me realise I can actually have fun with it and there's really nothing to be scared about
I certainly learned a lot with this Plus segment. Concepts included advanced CSS styling and Vanilla JavaScript. It is an extension of what was learned in the previous segment, but a lot more rigorous, but still very well-explained.

This project significantly deepened my understanding of time zones and how to effectively integrate them into applications. Utilizing the moment.js library was particularly enlightening, enabling seamless handling of various time zones and date formats. Overall, this project has been both a technical achievement and a personal journey of learning and creativity. I am proud of the final product and believe the World Clock will be a valuable tool for anyone looking to stay connected across different time zones. The plus project has been difficult and very challenging because of the Java Script but Matt managed to unpack it for me. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to be challenged and also want to learn more about JS.

I had always thought that coding was hard and involved a lot of mathematics. However, when I came across SheCodes, I took a leap of faith and decided to learn how to code. My experience throughout Basics made me fall in love with coding, the lessons were amazing and made easy by Matt's great teaching, the challenges put me to test and improved my skills. Overall, it was a great experience and I look forward to the next level.
Adding new skills to the ones I had learned previously in the Basics workshop was nice. The project allows us to be creative, explore different tools to personalize our webpage, and learn even more useful tools/skills through internet searches!

I've previously tried some frontend coding tutorials and I never managed to get out of tutorial hell and actually make something on my own. With the SheCodes workshops I felt that I actually understood how to code for the first time. I can now create something on my own using a code editor. I learned so much in this workshop! I also was having fun. Matt has done such a good job laying out the lesson plan which makes each week strategically build upon the next. I nailed down a system in this workshop where I do a bit of coding each day so that I don't have gaps in my learning stream. One day gets stacked on top of the next day and I am able to grasp each new concept more readily because of my constant contact with the material and code. I give the workshop 10/10!

Prompt engineering explanation was very valuable! I understood the concept of integrating with an API but prompt engineering was new to me. This add-on showed me the importance of learning this topic and how to engineer in such a way to achieve the specific result you are looking for.
