Having completed SheCodes Basics, I felt I needed to continue with coding as I felt I was only getting started! In this week Add On, I learned how to create CSS grids which was something I was looking for in the Basics homework. Overall, I feel this short course has enabled me to keep my coding skills fresh in my mind whilst building more advanced HTML, CSS and Javascript. I really enjoyed making the Final Project and towards the end I ended up tinkering with the CSS code and understanding where to put certain classes or hovers - something I definitely wouldn't have been able to do 3 weeks ago. Thank you again to Matt and the SheCodes team, looking forward to continuing with SheCodes Plus!
I enrolled in SheCodes Basic with high hopes of gaining a fundamental understanding of coding, and I can confidently say that the experience exceeded my expectations. Each lesson was presented in a way that could be easily understood by beginners. With the challenges and projects, I was not only able to test my understanding but also think critically and apply what I've learned. Participating in the add-on project has been an incredibly enriching experience for me. From day one, I've been immersed in a dynamic environment where learning is not just encouraged but celebrated. The project provided a unique opportunity to expand my skill set and knowledge base in ways I never imagined.
For someone that is learning react for the first time, this workshop is definitely very useful and helpful. I joined this workshop because I wanted to get more exposure and learn more as I was given tasks to work on React environment and I took so much time understanding it as I have 0 knowledge but this workshop definitely added more knowledge to me and making me more confident in completing my tasks in the future!

I really enjoyed this introduction to coding! The videos were short yet informative and Matt explains everything very well. I really liked the challenges we have after every video as it allows me to practice what I've just learned which helps me to remember the information better. I already had a fair bit of coding knowledge before taking this course and I'm glad to say I still learned some new things! So far I love the flow of the course as everything Matt's taught so far connects. Overall a very good course and I can't wait to take more!

Creating a world clock using Moment.js, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML was a fun challenge! It felt like putting together pieces of a puzzle, and I got to use a lot of what I've learned before. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

SheCodes plus was longer than SheCodes basic however it was still easy to follow (I was able to complete the workshop in just over 4 weeks!). I leveled up my html, css, and js skills by using new learned advanced techniques. Including how to input api data in js.
Thanks to Matt and the SheCodes support team's help I could understand and complete the program. It gets tricky as you advance but it was still enjoyable to learn.
