I didn't except to run into as many challenges as I did. I would understand several lessons and then bam, get stuck on one for a while. I would get frustrated although it encouraged personal research and helped me discover answers to better understand what I'm learning and eventually I was able to piece it together. Learning coding is like learning a language. It is awesome to think that I'm adding that to my list of personal accomplishments. It has been an interesting journey so far and I have several more workshops to look forward too.

Before starting SheCodes I would try those free certifications online but there was really no structure and it would throw you into coding without really any introduction. SheCodes has allowed me to slowly learn and explained why I am taking the steps I am, to create the code.
At SheCodes, I had the opportunity to study the fundamentals of Front-end, which provided me with a solid base of knowledge in the area. At first, I was a little afraid to follow the classes in English. However, the teacher uses a language simple and intuitive, which allowed me to fully understand all the lessons. With this workshop, I learned a lot about responsive design, but I was also able to improve my previous knowledge from other SheCodes workshops. It was very interesting getting to know the building process of a webpage. Since the design and how we, as developers, will "translate" that design into code. I highly recommend it because I like the way Matt explains everything, I like the pace of the course, and also the real life examples given during the classes.
SheCodes React Workshop is a great way of learning a lot of react basics. Thanks to the many small challenges after each unit, you can apply what you have learned very quickly and later integrate it very well into the final project which is a lot of fun.

Gaining knowledge about multiple pages, advanced HTML links, CSS variables and advanced flexbox techniques as well as how to integrate Bootstrap. Using Bootstrap CSS Utility classes, responsive grids, images and navigation is awesome. Learning about Responsive Testing, CSS Media Queries, Multiple page Hosting and SEO. This course has suceeded where my other learning efforts have failed! Many years ago a colleague tried to teach me C# and that did not work... I have tried self learning over the years but it hasn't worked, the courses were either not pitched at the right level, or I would start and then stop... This workshop was fun to learn. I created a recipe generator, that I will use when I get stuck for ideas in the kitchen. This example related to me more, as I am not crazy about poetry. At first, I was a bit intimidated to move away from Matt's example, thinking it would be more confusing to learn. I am excited that this was not the case. I found that it was easy to customise and encouraging to think of other AI projects I could create to streamline my everyday tasks!!

SheCodes Responsive taught me how to create responsive websites that could be accessed on a mobile and desktop device and respond to the size of the screen. This course allowed me to understand how developers can create amazing websites that can be used on various devices without any issues. I learned how to manipulate the placement of my images, text and other elements to design an efficient and beautiful website. I was taught to successfully use Bootstrap to create grids, CSS Utility Classes to design responsive websites for smaller screens, and practiced adding Bootstrap classes to my elements to easily and quickly add style without having to access the CSS file. The SheCodes Slack team was amazing throughout the learning process, because creating responsive websites can get confusing and frustrating. With their help, I was able to navigate through the lessons with little to no anxiety that I would be stuck and on my own.
