I enjoyed each challenge! I looked forward to each lesson but would like to spend more time utilizing/implementing what I learned. I will try to find way to practice on my own. And looking forward to signing up for the other workshops soon!
High learning curve, but it was worth it!
I took the three week SheCodes Workshop. I absolutely would recommend it to anyone who had little to no experience with coding, and also needed scheduling flexibility. Over the course of those three weeks I learned HTML, CSS, Javascript, and used Visual Studio Code. Each lesson was short in length, less than 10 minutes on average, and easily digestible. I really liked that I was able to move at my own pace while still having enough time throughout the week to meet our weekly deadline for assignments. There are several people available to help you with any errors in your code, and to answer any questions you may have about a lesson or concept. You cant beat it.
I've tried a few times to learn code through other online courses and having a coworker teach me. This is the first time it made so much sense. Having the challenges made me feel like I was being productive and really helped me learn and understand the code I was writing. I had a great time and appreciate coding so much more!

After having done the first 3 weeks workshop and enjoying myself, I was in a bit of a dilemma as I could not afford the full price of the next part of the course, I'm content and happy that as a student they allow alternatives when you are financially struggling. After having gone over 12+ weeks with SheCodes I have enjoyed the process of learning more and how quick and easy it is to learn from Matt online and even struggling through the processes alone, but there are always great support available for any help. I look forward to the upcoming weeks as I continue my journey with SheCodes
SheCodes bootcamp takes the mystery out of coding and make projects straight-forward to learn development skills in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. In completing the weather application, though there were moments of frustration, the scope and the instruction helped me overcome the challenges of using vanilla Javascript to build a functional application. I can't wait to take on more challenges!

A great workshop to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Well structured, clear and challenging enough for a total beginner while not being overwhelming.
I am so happy I went ahead and decided to move forward with taking SheCode Plus. It was very challenging and frustrating at times, but it definitely reinforced my knowledge from the 1st workshop AND built upon it. I can't wait to use what I've learned for real-life projects so I can enhance my skills.
I had a great experience with SheCodes! These 3 weeks have flown by really fast. Everything from video classes to student's support was just amazing! Also, I loved the music radio station, it was fun to study while listening to it - something I would want to learn how to do myself! Matt was exceptional and unsurpassed in his competency, knowledge and simplicity of presenting information. As challenging as this course was, I learned a lot. I liked the pace and how Matt built on each lesson week after week. I feel this is the best way to learn to code because you are able to apply what you're learning in real-time.

I started SheCodes fresh off the boat with the intention of learning coding to open more job opportunities in the future. It has been an amazing experience learning how to use HTML, CSS and Javascript. SheCodes React was surprisingly a fun challenge! The lessons follow an organized and simple way of learning how to code using React. Besides that, we also learn how to solve common problems and turn ideas into real apps/websites. 😎
I was never brave enough to learn coding, until I got to know SheCodes. I would have never ever thought that this will be so much fun! Matt explains everything little by little and the challenges after each explanation make it easy to remember what he explained. A friend of mine suggested me this web coding course and I thought it was a great idea! I was quite enthusiast about learning how websites and pages are structured and work. At first, I admit that I was afraid of not being able to follow the lessons and do the exercises, but the course is well-structured and everything is explained clearly. The most fun thing is that you can immediately see what you are creating and I think that's amazing. Almost like having a magic wand. Thanks to Matt and SheCodes Team, I have learned the basics of HTML, Java and CSS. :)
I loved the SheCodes+ course and working on my finale project. It was intense, and some challenges can be difficult, but Matt explains things super clearly and makes learning very fun. The team is so nice, and available to help. I liked that there is also a bit of interaction on Slack with other students. I've succeeded to complete the course while working full-time and being pregnant, and I'm not sure I could have done it with a different course. I'm really grateful for this opportunity, and looking forward to learn more about coding.

Best decision ever to have enrolled in this workshop, where I had the chance to improve much more my understanding of front-end development learning how to code, and still developing a landing page from scratch. I couldn't recommend SheCodes more!
SheCodes Plus is a very nice way to learn how to build a web application. From A to Z, from designing your application to publishing it online. It was a great advantage to learn about the different (necessary) languages and tools. It was really fun to create this app. Please have a look and find your holiday destination :)
This workshop is short and sweet. I really learned a lot over the last three weeks and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning about coding. You don't have to have any prior knowledge. This is a great starting point and I'm excited to learn more!

I highly recommend the SheCodes workshops! I was always very curious about coding, but never really had the time to explore this world, when this course came up on my LinkedIn feed it felt perfect timing! I first went to the free coding class with Matt and in just that 1h I learned so much. The SheCodes Online Workshop is suited for students of all ages and for beginners, it's well-paced, and at the end of each lesson, we have the opportunity to also practice with homework and projects. We are fully supported, if we have any difficulties on the projects we can ask the technical assistants and fellow students, and Matt is a brilliant teacher! After this workshop, I'm thinking to continue my studies in coding!
Learning how to code with SheCodes was an amazing experience! It was only 3 weeks, but time flies! I never knew you could learn so much in just 3 weeks time. I already was an online marketer, and so I already knew very little about coding. But it feels very good that now I can understand what my colleagues are actually saying. I actually have some basic knowledge about programming. However, the technology is always evolving, and it is hard to catch up all the time if there is less opportunities to leverage its skillset. Therefore, the learning through SheCodes' Workshop made me be up to date! It's fun more than anything else!
Matt and the rest of the SheCodes team made what would have taken me months on my own super easy, fast, and enjoyable to learn! Going from zero previous coding experience to understanding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in three weeks feels like a huge accomplishment, following the videos and practice exercises made learning how to code really interesting and fun! This workshop is great for someone who wants to learn to code but can't commit to a full time bootcamp or a set schedule of live lessons. Matt explains everything very clearly for an absolute beginner, while also encouraging you to figure some things out on your own. The challenges after each lesson reinforce what you've learned so you really feel like you understand what you're doing. I'm excited to move on to the next part of the workshop!
I had a great time learning basic skills in HTLM, CSS and JavaScript through SheCodes. The instruction videos are very clear and elaborate and the support network consisting of tutors and students is super helpfull. I really enjoyed the SheCodes basics after doing the lessons. I don't mean to sound proud but it was very easy and elementary for me to learn. I joined SheCodes with no coding experience, in fact coding intimidated me but I wanted to change that and that's one of the reasons why I joined the workshop. It's very beginner friendly, I learned a lot and was not overwhelmed at all. I recommend to anyone wanting to learn a new skill.

Completing SheCodes Plus was a challenge to say the least. It took longer than expected with many frustrating moments but was worth absolutely every minute of the time I spent wrecking my brain over my code. I learned a lot and I am looking forward to the next step which is SheCodes React. 🙌🏼
Knowing how to code has always been something I dreamed of. Every time I tried to learn by myself, I had this difficulty of not knowing where to start and how to keep myself motivated. I found that the SheCodes Workshops are well structured and engaging. You also know what is the next thing you can have to learn and have a peace of mind knowing that if you need help, there are people to whom you can reach out easily.
Complete beginner here! I've tried and failed, start and stopped free coding workshops, and felt convinced I would never get the hang of it. I wasn't cut out for coding. Now, I'm sad it's going to be over! I had so much fun learning from Matt, the tools were amazing and the knowledge feels like a huge stepping stone for me! I was itching to get my two little girls to bed every night these past three weeks so that I could get to my challenges! The project was so fun, I finished it early :) I cannot recommend this enough.

Before attending the course i was a little bit nervous to immerse myself into something that is so different and remote from everything i have ever done previously. But after the first lesson my enthusiasm was grown up to 1000%, and i truly believe it's a merit of Matt who has managed to create a great way of teaching which can work for any beginner who really wants to learn. I am so happy i discovered this course!

Great introductory course, I had a little knowledge of HTML but this has given me more insights into how everything fits together and some tools to keep on learning. The community on slack is great and really helpful.
In the past I had a short adventure with coding while my studies and after that experienced I was sure, coding is not something for me. Few years after that experience I decided to give a chance to SheCodes and I'm extremely happy I did! Each SheCodes lesson is explained very well and it makes the whole learning experience fun :) I highly recommend it to anyone, who wants to learn at least basics of coding.
