It was really fun learning the fundamentals of HTML , CSS and JavaScript and being able to create my first web page. Matt really explained the concepts in a very easily understandable terms. Looking forward to learn a lot more in the next SheCodes Workshops.

For years I considered dwelling into to the Web Development world. In my teens, thanks to the social media craze, I learned how to read basic HTML and CSS, but never learned how to properly do it from scratch. Years went by, and I ended up studying International Relations and Economics, but I knew since I was younger that I truly enjoyed and lost track of time when I was coding. The idea of creating something visible based on languages and my creativity always fascinated me, and thanks to SheCodes, now I am certain that this is the right path for me, and my journey in coding is just beginning.
This was an amazing experience! I am really grateful at how much I accomplished with this workshop and I look forward to continue to learn more about coding and expand my mind and learn new skills along the way. I've been trying to get into coding for YEARS. It's quite tricky as you have to pay to sooo many details, I also had issues with time, as I was moving from Vienna to Dubai exactly at the time of the course. Neveretheless, quite interesting and I enjoyed learning the basics.

In this digital age and with the rise of advanced technologies and automation, the tech industry is really a place for a myriad of job opportunities. I recognised this and I've always been intrigued to learn the official coding and programming languages however I never had the opportunity nor any clue which platforms to choose from. Then, I came across SheCodes. I joined SheCodes because I truly resonate with its message and goals. I was impressed that a company is taking the initiative to tackle a global issue in the technological industry. I've always dreamed of working for some of the companies mentioned. Thus, I knew I had to join SheCodes. Next, the 100% online SheCodes workshop. It has bite-sized videos with mini exercises for each lesson which encourages students to take initiative and be pro-active in their learning. One can also do it at their own time and convenience within the stipulated workshop duration. If one needs any assistance, tech support on Slack and even experienced students are more than welcome to help. I learnt a lot and appreciate the positive learning environment. As a busy full-time undergraduate and part-time HR personnel exposed to learning and development, I approved of this and recognised that such methods are the future of learning. Learning to code with SheCodes was a really fun and interactive experience! Other than most coding workshops, Matt gives a clear overview over the basics of HTML, JavaScript and CSS which makes it easy to understand and the weekly assignments helpt to stay on track.
I've learned a lot with the SheCodes workshop, mainly because the exercises helped me go through it all with fewer adversities. I've never seen another learning platform being as efficient as this. The tuition cost never ceases to surprise me positively. If you want to learn how to code but don't have much time or a big budget, consider enrolling in a SheCodes program. You won't regret it!

I'm so glad I found SheCodes! Out of all the other online courses and videos I've watched on how to code for beginners, SheCodes has definitely helped me the most! I was able to understand how things are implemented, what works and what doesn't. The online videos are so easy to follow along, and I was learning at a nice pace so there was no rush. My only regret is not finding out about it earlier.
I like the flexible nature of the course and the videos were easy to follow and understand. It was cool to see how much progress I could make in such a short time and it was fun learning too. Would recommend!

This course is fun to take. It gives you an introduction to HTML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT. Considering my background, I never expected to like or understand coding but this workshop completely changed my perception. Coming from a different background I thought that I will never be able to enjoy or understand coding. I was always interested in learning how to code, but never thought that I would get the chance. When I first came upon a SheCodes ad, I was immediately intrigued; and when my employer asked me to attend further training during my short-term work, I jumped at the opportunity – and never regretted it. Being totally absorbed in the learning videos and corresponding challenges, hours pass without me realising it. I immensely enjoy putting what I just learned into action and can’t believe how far I’ve already come in such a short period of time. Coding can be challenging, but it is also a lot of fun and extremely rewarding. If you are unsure whether you should sign up for one of the workshops, do it! I'm sure you won't be disappointed! 😉

Even though I spent a significant time among software engineers, I have always thought that coding is for people who are excellent in Math. The learning curve in this workshop was incredible! No question left unanswered thanks to the lovely post challenge solution videos, which are always reassuring after some of the most challenging moments. Feels unreal to have coded all this project when a few weeks ago i had no clue about anything. There are still some areas I would like to improve in my projects but thanks to this workshop I actually feel capable of doing so!
The structure of the lessons are in a logical order and easy to follow. It's impressive how easy I could learn to code basic things within some days & that this "magic field" is not as difficult as I thought.
