Learning React was so much fun, especially since the Dictionary app was added so I could reinforce what I learned building the Weather app. This is my third SheCodes course and I'm also currently working through the Responsive course!

The workshop was setup great! I learned so much throughout the three week course. It was really nice to have the support of other workshop members and the SheCodes team on the message boards.

Great course so far, in this short time I have learned so much and find it exciting and satisfying to be able to use code. And to believe it was all in just one week.
This course was definitely challenging but I have learned so much in the past 8 weeks. It was explained step by step so that you can understand the code your writing. It is quite exciting to see the app you designed in week 1 to finally work. I can't wait to learn more in SheCodes Responsive & SheCodes React.

Contrary to my previous perception, the world of coding is a very fascinating and sweet world, and the more I learn, the more I am interested in learning.
As an absolute beginner I was very intimidated by the idea of learning how to code. This workshop was the perfect introductory course - it contained so much information yet wasn't overwhelming. It has given me the confidence to continue pursuing my dream of being a front-end developer in the near future!
This course was truly a challenge, but well worth it when I tackled a problem! The help options are wonderful and I found myself understanding the fundamentals easily thanks to the in-depth instructions videos. I have learned a new skill and cannot wait to keep coding!
As a Computer Science major this really helped me find my love for coding again and I loved how free I was to do whatever I want and not have to follow a strict assignment as I would in school. I can see myself just playing around with what I learned as a new hobby now because I can see how I can put my own interests and combine them like I did with my final project.

Learning with Shecodes and Matt was a great experience! I am now able to read code on the front-end and think about engineering logics with the engineers in my team as a product manager. It was challenging but truly satisfying at the end of the journey!

The fact that I went from not knowing what I was looking at and feeling overwhelmed by looking at code a few weeks ago to being able to look and read/ comprehend what's going on is so crazy. I loved the pace and learned a lot.
Learning react from Matt was the best decision! It wasn't the easiest, but it was fun to learn. I learned how to find and solve problems throughout the workshop, and found myself enjoying doing it.

I am really glad I took Shecodes 👩🏾💻 instead of self-learning. Learning the basics through a guided video as well as having support from the Shecodes team and classmates really helped 🤝🏽when I was confused 😵. And for all those who are terrified of coding because you think math ➗➕ is involved... it's not (or at least not at this level). Like anything else, it's just a new language that needs to be learned and understood. If you have the time ⌚, I would recommend taking the workshops given. Recently, I go on my websites as usual, but now I start to the different elements behind the scenes. These workshops have really opened up my mind to a new computerized world.
Another great online course from SheCodes! Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team for helping and encouraging me to learn. Although we worked on a very specific project in SheCodesPlus, I felt I had the opportunity to explore my interests, take chances, experiment, and build the foundation for future learning. Easily the best workshop I've done in a long time! I became addicted to finishing the short lessons and found it so satisfying to complete a few challenges in one sitting. I always found coding very difficult. I tried other learning platforms but it looked so complicated and difficult. But with shecodes, learning how to code was simplified, fun. I could do this all everyday. Never imagined saying that 😂. Great teaching, great learning experience!!!
I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning more about coding (no matter how much of a beginner you are!). Matt is a really good teacher and he makes it so easy to follow. The weekly challenges mean that you have the chance to practice everything you learn and the online forum makes you feel part of a community. I had a lot of fun taking this course.

I would highly recommend SheCodes to someone who is interested in learning to code. Matt Delac is a great instructor who explains everything in a way that makes it easy to understand. I also appreciate that they use Slack so that we can ask questions and talk with other participants. I am so glad that the responsive course was created. I was able to apply what I learned in this course to the weather app from the previous courses in order to make it responsive.

I had a lot of fun exploring the world of programming. It was a perfect balance between learning new things in a short time and exploring independently. The course was super structured and gave just the right input through the learning units. The homework assignments allowed you to check your own learning, which was motivating and made you proud. The support from the community was terrific and despite being online, you never had the feeling that you had to struggle through alone. As a psychologist, it gave me the perfect insight to delve more into the world of digitalisation and to learn more about the people in that field.

I have always picked up new systems very easy so thought why not try coding. I do not regret it! It has been great to learn, be challenged and create. Matt explains everything very clear and if you are ever in doubt or get stuck, there are numerous hint and tips in every video and you have a great community that can help you! There is a lot to wrap your head around, but instructions are clear and highlights the fact that learning to code is hard, there is not just one solution and that practise is necessary - I wish I'd had more time set aside personally, but as the project is finished, I'm looking forward to go back and review the steps and develop a deeper understanding and become more proficient before enrolling in next step
I didn't have any coding experience before starting SheCodes. It has been a challenge so far but a good one. I am amazed at how much I have learned in the matter of a few weeks. I am looking forward to learning more/as much as I can from SheCodes to further my career.
