This is an excellent program to learn front end coding. I have learned so much in the last few weeks. I am excited to continue to expand my knowledge base and learn more. Matt is an excellent instructor.

I will keep coming back for every course absolutely! having completed the Basic, Plus, React courses and now the Responsive, there was so much to learn and i am becoming more comfortable with coding, something I would have never attempted a year ago. I really LOVED taking the SheCodes React course! It gave me all the tools I needed to build an app from the beginning to the end, using everything I learned in SheCodes Basics and Plus, in addition to learning how to streamline all my code in React. I love this method of learning, with Matt's videos in which he explains and shows the whole process, and also the challenges and homeworks, that allowed me to practice and learn, and also prepared me to the final project. I'm looking forward to getting on SheCodes Responsive!

SheCodes is a great introduction to learning how to build a landing page. If you've always wanted to make your own website, this is a great course to start with.
Very well structured class, from building on basic principles to learning more advanced techniques such as Javascript. 10 for 10, would recommend this class for beginners!

I absolutely loved completing SheCodes Responsive. I learned so many valuable skills on how to create responsive web apps, SEO usage, building accessible sites and so many cool tips on how to code faster, clean and more efficiently. SheCodes Plus was very informative and I am excited for the next workshop! I had so much support with all of my questions along the way and I felt positively challenged to continue to work through problems. It was a great learning experience and I would definitely recommend taking this workshop.
SheCodes Plus built on what I learned in the initial class. It was a really great transition and helped me hone the skills I had while adding extra layers of complexity. I especially enjoyed learning the API integration and it made me more comfortable in JavaScript when developing functions and sorting through arrays. Matt's videos are great and the SheCodes team is phenomenal at answering questions and helping you work through issues.
I had previously coded in college. I was looking for something to do at night while I am home. This was a nice refresher on what I had previously learned and I did learn quite a few new things. I am excited to start my next workshop.

The program started off with a review of introductory HTML, CSS, and Javascript and then proceed to improve upon those skills. At times, the course was challenging and the support of the SheCodes team gave me the support I needed to complete the more challenging tasks. I am incredibly proud of the Weather App I've built using HTML, CSS, and Javascript and I look forward to continuing to learn more advanced components.
This course gave me a way better understanding on how react components are created and communicate with each other, than when I tried to learn React by myself. Even though some parts were tricky to follow, especially when a different API needs to be used than the one displayed in the course, I really enjoyed completing the challenges and both of the final projects.
This was a great source to learn code.
I made it! It was fun AND challenging at the same time. We learn the very very basic of these 3 languages and have an overall idea of the depth of coding. It is very easy to get frustrated but the community and SheCodes team helps you go through it.
In last few weeks I've learned what coding is, and because of this class I am now sure about what college do I want to apply for .
Learned how to create a weather app and use GitHub and Netlify.
I'm elated to have successfully finished this workshop. It has been a tough challenge, but in order to get good at something, you have to be bad at it first. This workshop allowed me to do each exercise badly, learn what went wrong, and fix it to create something that I'm proud of.

After starting my coding adventure with SheCodes Basics I've decided to continue with SheCodes Plus and SheCodes React. It's impressive the amount of things I had the chance to learn. The module about React was definetely the most challenging but at the end I was so happy and proud to submit my 1st React app built from scratch with Matt's help.
SheCodes has made learning to code easier and has given me more confidence that I can continue moving forward in the world of tech, which I did not believe before.
Learning has been super fast and everything is very clear. I highly recommend it :)
SheCodes is great for beginners! In just three weeks you can learn HTML, CSS and Javascript at your own pace with bite-size lessons and small challenges to keep you motivated. It was a great experience and I can not wait to learn more.
Last year I joined SheCodes for the very first time and did the first two workshops coding related that I've ever done. More recently I needed to refresh my skill set and update it in order to embrace a more complex challenge, that's why I enrolled in the "Online Responsive Development Workshop". I learnt a lot of new technologies and now I feel capable to build a unique online portfolio on my own. Even though my design competences are not the best, now I feel comfortable with the creation of a website and everything related to its structure. Once again, I have to thank to Matt Delact and SheCodes for giving us this opportunity to learn that much. With your powerfull lessons, the organized and detailed program, the homeworks and constantly support, I think it is not possible to dislike it. I do recommend it to everyone!
I have no previous experience of coding and have found SheCodes to be an excellent workshop. Having just completed the Basic workshop, I'm keen to build on what I have learnt and so will be continuing with the workshops. I would recommend SheCodes to anyone that would like to start from scratch.

SheCodes was EXACTLY what I've been looking for! Matt guides you through every step of the way and there are lots of exercises for you to put new skills into practice. The Slack community is great to interact with other women across the world in the same boat as you, as well as training you to pick up errors in code written by other people. I really enjoyed the online course. I thought it was well planned and layed out, easy for me to follow. The work load was just enough, so i could finish everything with enough time, learn about the topics and not feel over loaded and rushed. It is an amazing experience to learn with SheCodes.

What can I say about SheCodes? I'm so grateful I ended up knowing them! Every day I learn new things, and I feel like the day doesn't have enough hours to practice and enjoy every one of these things. I remember taking coding classes at school as a kid, but I never enjoyed it as it was boring and mundane, and as a result never sought the interest to make a career out of it. However, enrolling and taking Matt's classes and learning simultaneously with his instructions, as well as the immediate and constant support from staff and fellow learners at Slack, made my coding journey so refreshing and exciting; I learned so much more in 3-4 weeks than I ever did in a year as a fifth grader. I definitely see the value coding can give my career, and I hope to go further and take more advanced courses with SheCodes.
I always thought that coding would be difficult to learn, but the workshop made it doable! I look forward to seeing how my experience here can grow into a career one day!

SheCodes Plus was an intense workshop, definitely learned a lot, had my share of headaches but I knew the final outcome would feel great! Learned a lot more about Javascript, a language I thought was impossible for me to learn and understand but with the help of Matt and the SheCodes Team I can say I am truly proud of myself for getting through these 8 weeks and creating a weather app/widget that is functioning and that I'm able to read and explain to others. Challenging but empowering. I've learned things I thought were out of reach for me and let go of negative assumptions about my capacity to grow and progress. Will you curse under your breath in frustration at times? Yes. But will you also revel in your success when something finally clicks? YES! Do this for yourself. You won't regret it.
It was really interesting, I know there's a lot of things I have to learn but this workshop was great, it helped me when I was at the hospital to keep my mind busy

I like how the course is divided into short lessons, so the period of time spent in one sitting is easy to personalize. I feel like I've learned a lot in the past three weeks, and now I'm looking forward to the next course.
After successfully completing the Intro to Coding course, I was curious about continuing but was also unsure if I could take my skills to the next level. I got a very kind message from Matt encouraging me to continue, so I decided to take the leap! This course did such a great job building upon the foundations I learned in Intro to Coding. The additional material covering JS functions and hosting was especially interesting to me. I have some long-term aspirations of becoming a product manager and I think my new understanding of code will be really helpful with that journey.

SheCodes Basics has been a great insight into the world of coding. I've always been interested and impressed by coding, but never thought it was something I could actually do myself. Now, I am excited to continue learning with SheCodes and to gain a career in the industry!
SheCodes was great! I don't think I'll end up going into a job where coding is needed but I will absolutely continue to do it in my free time! I think it is so much fun and I loved learning how each language worked. It was nice to see how much I understood and could figure out on my own once I started the Final Project!
SheCodes Plus has been amazing at the very least, I had a lot of fun while learning valuable coding skills and working on the final project. There have been times when I felt stuck and frustrated but the community here at SheCodes is so so helpful and supportive and it is sure to get you back on track. This is the best investment I have done so far and I can't be more proud! I am very excited to start the React workshop!

Joining SheCodes is one of the best decisions I've made in a long time, for myself. It has been really challenging and sometimes frustrating, but the SheCodes team really gives you all the tools and the support you need to succeed and it has been absolutely amazing. Matt is an incredible teacher and explains every step in a very good way and the weekly homeworks and challenges takes you to the goal step by step. It is also a nice atmosphere where it is okay to fail and try again, that is what learning new things is all about. I recomend SheCodes to anyone who want's to learn how to code!

I have really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus course. I think that it is really well structured and it allows you to learn comfortably at your own pace with weekly deadlines to keep you on track. The videos are very clear and easy to follow and it's pretty incredible how much you learn in such a short space of time and on one project. Definitely a good springboard to start from!
Learning React has been such an adventure, I have really enjoyed all of the workshops that Matt created. I am probably like many people who tried to learn how to build a website by picking up bits and bobs of knowledge and examples of code here and there through various means including online tutorials. I really struggled with this approach and building something, like I had to for a couple of university projects, tended to be quite frustrating. With SheCodes I finally found a method to learn in a structured way where each step builds logically on the previous steps. Now that I have finished the basics course I can't wait to get on with SheCodes Plus and React 🥳🤓

This class was such an adventure! It was a very frustrating challenge, but it was also extremely fun once you had that "Ah-hah!" moment and were able to make your code work. As I've emphasized with all of the SheCodes workshops, take what Matt teaches you and build something extra that wasn't required of the assignment. That truly helps you test your skills. I'm excited to take take all of the knowledge I've learned thus far and apply it to my next coding adventure.
