I highly recommend this course for everyone who has doubts and is not sure if coding journey is for them. All learning materials are super accessible and easy to understand and you get to learn basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This is a great starting point which can set you up for your future learning path depending on what interests you the most. I know that my path is programming rather than designing, but it's good to have knowledge of all. I cannot wait to start my next workshop!

I have learnt so much from both SheCodes Workshop and Plus. Matt is a great teacher and the team are so friendly and quick to reply to any questions you have! There were definitely challenging points but the live support I received was amazing, I learnt so much from asking questions. Everything is broken down and makes it feel manageable which is so motivating because you can quickly see your progress. I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about learning to code to go for it!

I set myself a goal earlier in the year that I would learn how to code my own webpage and applications; and I still can't believe how far I've come. The content, the platform and the support have really pushed me to not only elevate my coding skills but I take with me many other valuable lessons on how to manage projects, structure your workflow and write better code. I joined the SheCodes Basics workshop while on maternity leave as I wanted to learn something new besides thinking just about the baby's arrival :) The workshop was a lot of fun. Everything was well-explained and I feel like I have a better grasp of what coding is about.
The SheCodes Plus workshop was no easy feat, but with the detailed lessons and help of other students/instructors, I completed the course and created a weather app that people can use! Excited to move onto the React workshop and learn more!
Super fun and challenging workshop! I have learnt so much over this workshop and it is so rewarding seeing it all come together in the weather app for the final project. I am so happy I continued and will continue on this coding journey :D. I am still so impressed with the teaching style and all the resources at our hands. Such a supportive learning environment which really makes it easier to keep going when you get stuck or feel lost for a moment or days or maybe a week. Looking forward to the next workshop!
This was a great experience. It's so easy to acclimate to the format and exercise-based method of learning; I finished the workshop despite cognitive difficulties due to a previous brain injury. That's really amazing to me because I tried learning JavaScript from other sources several times before my injury and still didn't understand it until I took this workshop.

I really enjoyed this course. It was easy to follow along and the assignments were fun. I thought coding would be an overwhelming skill to learn but this course made me realize how fun it can be.
Learning how to code presented some challenges as a beginner but turned out to be heaps of fun! Getting to see our final project come to life feels very rewarding :)

Easy to follow with the lectures. Homework practice is really helpful for validating what you just learned. I'll definitely consider learning further as I feel confident coding by watching Matt's demonstrations.

Wow, another awesome experience with SheCodes! React is super cool and I'm so thankful I had the chance to complete another workshop with SheCodes to learn about it. The lessons are broken down into digestible chunks which makes learning complex techniques more approachable. I love both of my projects and I am proud of myself for pushing through even when I felt like giving up. Although I have finished all four SheCodes workshops that are currently offered, I would happily return in the future and sign up for more. Matt is a great teacher!
I´m in love with coding. It has been quite a challenge but each day I´m learning more. I enjoy the classes, they are easy to understand and I like how Matt guides us through each step and gives us tips to go on our own and trust our research instincts.

This is my second workshop with SheCodes, and I'm amazed at the amount of things I have learned in just a short amount of time, considering the fact that I was completely inexperienced in coding. SheCodes is an amazing way for a beginner to learn coding. At the time, I was looking for a coding program, but I had missed all of the deadlines for them. I felt like I had run out of options, but that's when I ran into SheCodes on a Youtube ad. It changed everything. Matt's way of teaching is amazing and the fact that it's self-paced made it even better.
SheCodes Plus has been the perfect continuation of my journey into coding after the 3-Week Introduction to Coding course! This flexible course worked well alongside my job and the SheCodes team were very helpful whenever I needed help. SheCodes Plus was a pleasant jump up in learning advanced HTML, CSS and Javascript but also, added web hosting (through Netlify), Bootstrap for CSS, API integration, Github repos and many more coding skills. A very fun way to learn about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! I enjoyed the challenges that were included in some lessons, it helped me prepare for the weekly homework and the final project.
I highly recommend this workshop for absolute beginners! is really fun to learn how to code. I also find SheCodes Radio pretty good and helpful to concentrate while coding. The way the videos are self paced make the course pretty flexible, but the deadlines for the homeworks give you the needed presure. Every lesson has a challenge to be completed on your own. In that way you get to put your knowledge on practice!

I liked learning React, There were 2 very cool projects to work on. Both challenging, but you learned a lot from doing them. It was interesting to take a previous project and re-do with React and then build something totally different from the ground up. It made the learning experience more complete. Thanx for adding the 2nd project.
Prior to starting the SheCodes Basics workshop, I didn't have any experience with coding but I've always been interested in learning about it. I can genuinely say that I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop because I feel like I learned so much in such a small amount of time. I find the coding class awesome! It was great fun! I learned a lot but there is a lot more. I am looking for new opportunities in my career and this is helpful to be able to make a CV or portfolio, connect with people with a simple webpage. The slack was very useful. It is great to be part of the community. The classes are well made and I will recommend them to my network.

This was a great course to take for intro to coding. Within three weeks, I feel more comfortable in creating a simple webpage and I also learned a little bit about reverse engineering codes used on other pages to see how they work, which is great to know. Its more self-paced course and will be great for those who learned better on their own with a little guidance. Anyone can take this course and pass successfully all you need is the willingness to learn.
First of all - thank you for creating this workshop! I learned soooo much! I actually thought that this workshop would be easy, because I was sure React was the most difficult workshop of all. But I must say, SheCodes Responsive was actually very demanding. It takes time and effort to create a good-looking, user-friendly, and responsive website. Matt explained everything in detail as alwas, and the SheCodes team was super helpful when I had questions (thank you João!). I hope more workshops are coming, because I am now totally addicted to SheCodes and to Matt's way of teaching!
I work with web content, and HTML and CSS always were a relevant part of my professional activity. I always thought that learning those languages (and some programming like Javascript) was possible only for people who liked and knew much math. But SheCodes not only taught me that coding is fun but also it is an activity for everyone. :)
SheCodes is a very well structured workshop to learn how to code, it's very begginner friendly, the videos are well explained and there is always help available if you get stuck. The responsive course teaches you a lot of useful techniques to build websites that look good no matter the device (desktop, mobile...) I definitely recomment it.
I would recommend SheCodes to anyone interested in learning coding. The workshops, apart from everything being well-explained, are really fun. 300% better than what I was expecting. I worked the course around working and having a new baby. It's a flexible and informative course with all the support necessary.

SheCodes Basics was a great intro to coding and design, but SheCodes Plus takes everything you learned to a higher level. From learning to improve our designs with fonts, visuals & content positioning to learning complex functions and integrating real life data...this workshop really challenges you to step up your coding game!

This was a trying course, but I learned a lot in a relatively short amount of time. Be ready to put a lot of time and energy into this course. It definitely took me longer than 5 hours a week. It makes you think a lot, you get new skills and get to know a whole new world. I never thought it would be so exciting to learn how to code.
As with the previous SheCodes courses, learning React was made easier with the up-to-date video classes/demonstrations and online help forum. Although quite new to coding, I am finding that my skills base is growing rapidly, along with my confidence in this area. I feel I still have a long way to go, but I think SheCodes has really fast-tracked my exposure to coding languages and made the learning experience enjoyable.

Well worth the money. The Plus Workshop, like the Basics Workshop, does a great job of making it easy to learn. The self-taught style of learning is perfect for someone like me who needed an in-depth, end-to-end workshop. You can't put a price on that!
