In just 3 weeks, I learned so much! I was an absolute beginner when I started. I had no prior knowledge whatsoever. At first, it seemed intimidating, but now I can make a basic website already! If you're new to this, I highly recommend SheCodes. Matt takes it step by step. His teaching style makes it very easy to understand. If you want to learn to code, ENROLL! It's well worth it. This course has been the most challenging, but also so fun! React is a powerful and complex tool, but Matt made it easy to understand and work with it. I've been feeling stuck for the past few months, and I had a slight interest in coding and front-end development specifically. Having two projects helped me to understand better how react works. In this course videos were great to learn as coding was explained from a real time perspective on how a developer would solve bugs. From these videos on my last project I went little beyond the tutorials to try how much I can code independently and this made me understand how much in videos searching for bugs helped. This course was a good introduction to react and looking forward to create more complex projects.
I was working in the banking industry for 4 years, and although I am grateful for all I have learned on the job, I had an increase curiosity for coding! As I learned more and more, I knew coding is what I wanted to do ! I am immensely grateful for SheCodes!

Coding is a skill I truly believe everyone should learn however when first starting out just the word "coding" intimidated me. Especially seeing as how it is a male-dominated field and how it's represented in the media as complex words and numbers on a screen. However, after pushing myself to take this course I am so glad that I did as I now have a completely new perspective on coding! This course is structured in a very clear way of explaining and letting you apply the skills you learned!
I enyojed this short course, it was great to get a bit more familiar with coding! The videos were good for learning, Matt explained everything and the solution section helped a lot as well. With many friends who are working in front-end development, I always wondered if this was something I would like to do. The SheCodes basis course is a great way to explore the basics of front-end development. The course set up was great and easy to do next to your normal fulltime job. Learning a new skill will always be beneficial, weather you are working in marketing, design, tech or you want to become a front-end developer. I would encourage everyone to try something new and do the courses at SheCodes.

It was a lot of fun learning these brand new skills. A month ago, it wouldn't have crossed my mind that I would be able to make my own website. Forcing my brain to learn these new things and think creatively was a really nice feeling.
WOW! I can't explain how much I learned during this Responsive workshop and how surprised I am that I can actually build a website on my own. Not only that, but it works! There were so many techniques that helped to make coding more efficient and effective. If you're thinking about it, I definitely suggest continuing on to learn more. It's hard work, but it's worth it.
This was a great introduction and really helped me decide if I wanted to pursue a career in tech. I look forward to taking the next workshop and learn even more!
I've been learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for about 3 months. I decided to study full-time and teach myself how to code because this is my dream career. I understand HTML, CSS, and a little bit of JavaScript. The problem that I was facing was how to connect all three. That's where SheCodes comes in. SheCodes has given me the confidence to continue my coding journey. After completing the beginners workshop I feel so much more confident and so happy that I was able to see my progress. This huge progress happened in literally two weeks. The first week was very intense because a lot of material was being covered but after the first week, I felt so confident and saw how much growth I had made in just one week. The satisfaction of seeing my three projects come to life was amazing. The final project was what really made me realize how much I truly enjoy coding and creating things.
I have learned so much! What great courses, I can't wait to start the next one.

I very much enjoyed this SheCodes workshop! I liked the way this course was set up, short and understandable video's with many assignments so you can learn by doing. Also very helpful is that there is a Slack group so you can help each other (and get help from instructors) if you are stuck on something. I can't wait to continue with my next SheCodes workshops! 😊

I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus, and I feel like I've learned a lot. I've done coding courses before but never really understood why I was doing certain tasks. With the weather app project, everything was clearly linked to the project, so it was much easier to understand. This method works really well for me :)

SheCodes Plus was a great course to take after SheCodes Basics where I got to use what I had previously learnt and develop a greater understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It was challenging at times but the videos and solutions from Matt along with all the support from the rest of the team via Slack meant I was able to complete my weekly homework and for the final project create something better than I could have hoped for.
The way that the workshops are planned with the lessons and weekly homework has been the game changer in helping me expand my coding knowledge with the SheCodes Plus workshop. I don't think I would feel as accomplished if I was trying to learn these things on my own. Would definitely recommend SheCodes for anyone wanting to learn more about coding.

This has been the most fun learning I have had in a long time. Matt is able to take a skill that is seems so complicated and break it off into easy bite size pieces that make sense.

How amazing it is to learn new skills and have so much fun at the same time! Instructions were easy to follow, workshops were well structured and really learnt a lot by working on exercises after every topic.
It's an excellent course, very didactic! Primarily if the person has no prior knowledge of the topics. Even with prior knowledge of HTML and CSS, the course is worth doing due to tips and "hacks" that can streamline coding. I am a designer and mainly enrolled to learn more about javascript to help me better plan my projects and improve my communication with devs. After finishing my final project, I was very proud of what I have learned so far. The the course differential, for me, are the exercises! Because it intercalates with videos, which has the ideal time length, making the learning experience more dynamic.
I have had so much fun for the past 3 weeks with SheCodes Basics! I can't believe how much I have learned in just 3 weeks. I have been working as an IT Service Desk Analyst for 10 years and I was desperately looking for something better. I have been working closely with our development team for the past 2 years. At first, I was so intimidated sitting in their meetings because I didn't understand a thing and I thought you had to be some kind of genius to do that kind of work. Then slowly I began to understand what they were talking about and became familiar with some of the lingo. I started wondering if I could do it too. I tried two other learning programs online and became frustrated and felt defeated. Then I saw an advertisement on a YouTube video for SheCodes and decided to check it out. I'm so glad I did! After watching the free introductory class I knew this was it for me and it would change my life. I signed up for all of the workshops and I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus! The short video lessons are the perfect way for me to learn and I love the challenges, homework, and deadlines! I need structure to keep me on track. Learning how to code through the SheCodes program has been nothing short of engaging and more so because one gets to learn and work on challenges through a step by step process.

I liked this workshop because it was very practical. I have worked with HTML for years, but everything I learned was through practice, not theory. However, this workshop helped me to understand better HTML and reinforce what I already knew.
