For me, developing a weather app was a really fulfilling and thrilling experience. I was excited to be able to merge my love of real-time data applications and my enthusiasm for coding when I started the project. I was immediately enthralled with the process of creating a visually appealing and useful user interface. I had a lot of fun playing around with different color schemes and layouts to create an entertaining and functional app. The integration of the API to retrieve weather data, however, was the true magic. The ability of the program to dynamically display data that was pulled from outside sources was intriguing to watch. It was thrilling to learn how to manage data, handle the complexities of API queries, and make sure the app reacted correctly to user input. Debugging and improving the app to make sure it effortlessly supplied real-time weather updates was a problem-solving exercise that I really loved. All in all, it was an excellent opportunity to combine creativity and study. Witnessing my concepts materialize into a workable program that I could distribute to others was exhilarating. In addition to improving my technical abilities, this project stoked my desire to take on more challenging and creative programming tasks in the future. Another thank you to the SheCodes team.

Shecodes is the best platform to learn coding. matt is the best teacher. I love how it is interactive and you have homework and project deadlines. if you can't finish you can ask for an extension. your work gets reviewed and you get feedback.

Enjoyed working on this advanced workshop, I accomplished much more in designing and making a webpage user-friendly. I was able to produce a very responsive webpage since the basics workshop and this shows how much one can learn by doing them and learning the languages.
This course was both intense and interesting. Learning what goes on behind the scenes of a responsive website has been very insightful and also very complicated. After teaching myself how to create a website using WordPress and Divi, I discovered that I really enjoyed it and was eager to learn more, possibly even making it my profession. I then started looking for a suitable course that I could follow from home. I quickly came across SheCodes, and it immediately appealed to me. After comparing SheCodes with other providers, SheCodes stood out to me in terms of offerings, reviews, and quality. I took the free coding class and was quickly convinced because Matt explains everything in a very pleasant and easy-to-understand way. It was fun working on the challenges and sometimes frustrating not knowing how to solve particular problems on my own but we have such an amazing team at SheCodes that make everything so easier, not forgetting the students' platform (Slack) where we get to interact and help each other with coding problems. The hours are pretty flexible and can learn and submit challenges at your own convenience. I am three weeks richer of coding skills! Thank you SheCodes. Excited to move forward.

This course is amazing because it takes you by the hand and teaches you how to write codes, step by step. I love the challenge features in the course, making the learning easier. But above all, the course is well structured so it's easy to get inspired and create a website .
I learned a lot.
I enjoyed this workshop. I learned new techniques in CSS and HTML, including how to work better with links and how to position elements. I studied advanced Flexbox techniques and learned how to build a multi-page website with links between each page. I also learned how to navigate to a specific section of a page using anchor links and how to create a link to an email so that, when clicked, it opens the email application. I studied in depth how to use CSS variables—specifically, how to declare a variable in CSS so that its value is stored in one place but can be reused multiple times using the pseudo-selector :root. I learned what Bootstrap is, how to integrate it into my HTML document, and how to use its classes. I also learned how to create a responsive navigation. This project was a lot of work, but I completed it!

I have learnt so much from SheCodes and am excited to put these new skills to work. Thank you to Matt and the entire SheCodes team, I'm so grateful for this opportunity to learn a new and exciting skill.
These workshops really teach the students by hands-on coding and learning from our own mistakes, which I think it is the perfect way to understand what you are doing. The Basic Add On workshop is something I have enjoyed doing. It has really helped me to better understand HTML, CSS and the little we have seen of JS and how to put this little knowledge together to biuld a webpage from scratch that actually looks cool, which is something I feel proud of. I am really looking forward to starting the next workshop. 😊
