As a mechanical engineer, I was excited to start a new journey and learn more about coding since I found it challenging when I was learning C++ however shecodes Basics made it easy to learn html, CSS and Java! Cant wait to try the next courses!

I definitely enjoyed SheCodes Plus like I did SheCodes Basics, but I really felt more challenged this time and I'm so impressed with the progress I've made in such a short time! This only makes me want to learn more so that I can improve my coding.
The videos break everything down super simple which makes learning easy. They're also broken down into small clips and challenges which really helps for people with short attention spans or constant distractions. I really loved this class and all the resources that comes with it such as Slack, Color Palettes, and more. I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in learning coding.
SheCodes helps me stay motivated with deadlines, but also allows me to be creative when I have time. With working full-time AND learning to code, my schedule is packed. SheCodes has been great since it's mostly self-paced.
My journey so far has been amazing and totally worth it. I'm always looking forward to the next lesson. Also Learnt how to put code into an actual project.

It has been great learning coding again especially with the step by step on how to different areas of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It has also been great knowing you learn, the try out the challenges and then see the solution. As Matt has explained there are different solutions so you will not feel bad as long as the functionality works 😁 With practice you will be able to become more familiar and confident with coding
It has been a lot of fun learning the basics of web application development. The Shecodes team has been really helpful answering questions and guiding me every step of the way.

I really enjoyed learning the basics of coding! I found it so much easier to follow than other courses I looked at. It was so useful being able to watch someone doing it and having the group chat if we got stuck!

My current career hit a rut and I felt like I lost motivation and passion for my work. I began looking at career-change options and new skill sets that I could learn. I was intrigued but very intimidated by coding. I came across and attended the SheCodes "Free Coding Class" and built enough confidence to sign up for the SheCodes 3-week Basic workshop, which I just finished and LOVED! The style of instruction is very easy to follow and Matt does an excellent job explaining each of the lessons. I also appreciate that he provides outside resources and tips for Googling because I'm learning there is sooo much information out there! I look forward to the next SheCodes workshop and continuing this educational journey!
I am glad to continue and to take the SheCodes plus. I've learned a lot on this course even in a short month. I enjoyed creating codes and one of my favorite part was designing a web site. I highly recommend this course to everywoman that are interested in learning code.
I couldn't be happier with what I learned in these short weeks. I was always unsure of getting into coding; I always thought it would be to difficult for me to learn. But this course made it so easy for me. This gave me a great foundation and some confidence and I can't wait to learn and do more.

If you are thinking about joining SheCodes...DO IT! This experience has been one of the most rewarding things I've done in a really long time. I was intimidated coming from a non-tech background but that changed immediately after the first lesson. Matt and the support team are FANTASTIC and help you every step of the way. When I decided to learn Coding, I tried a few online courses but sooner I gave up. It was full of unfamiliar words and hard to understand. Even didn't know where to ask. With SheCodes, I can see the way to build my coding skill. also, it proved that Anyone can learn coding with SheCodes.
I recently took an intro course with another company, and the difference in curriculum was interesting. The way topics are broken down and explained in SheCodes is easy to navigate and understand. I feel as though the information I've gained from this course is invaluable, and look forward to learning more with SheCodes!
This is the first coding workshop that I have been able to learn and RETAIN actual coding skills! Other workshops may state that they are for beginners, but often show concepts and skills that an absolute beginner wouldn't know anything about. I was frustrated and unsure of my future as a software developer until SheCodes. Now I can proudly present a small project that I finished in under a month and can't wait to continue building on my skills with the next SheCodes workshop.
Never have I ever sit down for 3 hours straight just to study or learn something. Well I guess now I know what I really love to do. Matt Delac is so good at explaining everything. He teach us one by one, and he even show the solution after we submit our homework. Such a great guy with a great team. When I'm stuck and need help, the team they help us straight away. React is not easy; however, the key concepts will be repeated over and over again during the building of the projects throughout the course. You will eventually get used to it and maybe even get the hang of it . This course is packed with information. I like how Matt always gets straight to the point and teaches you the most practical basics. And he is not afraid of showing his mistakes while lecturing coding. I appreciate that, so I can also learn from his mistakes. I am glad I took this course; otherwise, I wouldn't know I like React better than JavaScript.

It was an interesting workshop. I really liked working on the final project and applied everything I've learned before.
This is the third workshop I have completed for SheCodes and the amount of confidence I have gained from completing them is unreal. I absolutely love the whole platform and I enjoy learning and watching myself grow as a developer. This project was the first I felt I had a good grip on what was happening and it was all thanks to the lessons by SheCodes that I was able to create a project to truly feel proud of.
It is really a good course for any woman who wants to learn coding. Matts has time to go through every codes to help you solve a problem
It wasn't my first time working with code, but back in Uni it wasn't that much fun and simple.. I defo learned more within these 3 weeks as I did in school!

Very happy that I took the chance to try out the Plus program. It is great to see such a great progress from having zero coding skills to developing a weather API interface in such a short amount of time! Although it was tough and very challenging I am now more than proud about myself what I have learned and achieved over the last past weeks.
Building the weather app was both fun and challenging. I learned a lot. It really pushed me out of my comfort zone. Highly recommend!

It was a tough 8 weeks but very productive at the same time. There are lots to learn and you will feel stuck, but the staff is always there to help.
It was quite a journey for me from the beginning until React. I can see that there's still a long way to go on this path which I'd like to keep going and try my best. I've learned a lot from the courses and they made me realize that there's nothing too hard to learn as long as you give it time. Thanks to Matt and team who made this a nice journey!
It was a meaningful journey for a beginner like me to learn React, one of the most promising and popular tools in the IT field, and to make the actual application. It was difficult to understand at first but as I am making my own app with advice and guidance from Slack SheCodes community, I was not afraid of making mistakes. I feel it is still not enough to be confident but it is a good start.
I learnt a lot during this 5 weeks course. Matt explains everything so well and makes it easy to understand.

I honestly cannot believe how much time passes when you are having fun! I enjoyed every lesson/challenge and I made use of other materials provided. Sometimes, i get stuck on challenges but it only allowed me to learn more. Also the team on Slack are super helpful. Looking forward to more projects to come as I intend to become a full stack developer.
SheCodes has been an enjoyable, no-stress way for me to dip my toe into the pool of coding. I feel confident in what I've learned so far, really enjoyed both the creative + the logical side of coding, and am excited to dive into the next workshop to learn more complex ideas.
This bootcamp for intro to coding was fantastic! It was challenging, but we always had mentors in Slack to help us out. I highly recommend this program to any of the girls or women wanting to learn to code.

The videos were very helpful and I appreciated the challenges to help us practice after learning something new. I really enjoyed the workshops and starting to code!
I enjoyed a lot learning with Matt, he explains everything pretty well. The Slack is great to mitigate anxiety haha. I loved the flexible hours as well, makes everything easier and everyone can learn at their own pace. I'm thankful for finding SheCodes, the experience was great, I am looking forward to start the next course😊.

It was a nice course! Very structured and it is very motivating as you have to submit the homework by the next week. It is explained really well. They have this really active community in Slack where you can ask questions if you need to. The certificate that proves that you completed the course is also an advantage. But I think the price is a bit high as there are other alternatives out there where you can learn this and more.

After finishing SheCodes Basic in December, I really enjoyed diving into an app environment and making it work. Because Basic was very easy for me, I underestimated the intensity of this course, but the team is super helpful and patient with every question you might have. I learnt a lot about JavaScript and although I normally work with Python, it was great to learn more JS. Before SheCodes I really struggled in connecting the dots in terms of front-end, back-end and full-stack but after every lecture you get this "aha moment". Even though I'm more a back-end person, it was super helpful for me build a first app from scratch. I'm looking forward to the next courses. ☀️🥰🌻
Seeing my progress over the past few months has been so rewarding. This course really taught me about making a multiple page website that looks good on a laptop, tablet, and phone! Along with learning more about bootstrap. Matt and the team here are very helpful whenever you encounter any roadblocks. I have enjoyed my journey so far! Now onto the next course to learn about react. 🤗

I have really enjoyed this workshop. With the skills I have learned, the sky is the limit! Matt taught me things like elements and attributes, but the most important thing he taught me was how to solve problems that appear in your code by using universal resources. That skill is everlasting.
SheCodes was everything I was hoping for and more! I've always been intimidated by the idea of coding, and thought it would be too complicated for me. This course so great, I wish I knew about it before. Either way I am grateful to know about it now. Mat did an excellent job breaking down the lesson and applying to the next project. If you save properly you can always go back and relearn earlier that week or 2 weeks ago. I love how we applied everything we learn at the end of the course to create something beautiful, something on our own.

SheCodes Basics was a great start to learn how to code. The lessons were simple and straightforward and you can definitely see progress every time you finish the assignments. This workshop showed me how easy and fun coding can be!
The learning structure is so easy to follow. I loved how they would introduce a simple aspect ensure that you understood it, then added a complex aspect to it.
