am so proud of myself so far.I have had instances where there's a mistake in my codes and after troubleshooting am able to correct my errors.have tried many learning platform none as ever worked for me.glad i came across she codes
It's a very interesting and useful workshop, that learns how to build your own portfolio and how to make your site responsive. After ending these lessons, you can develop and modify sites for different mobile devices, so they will be looking good on different screen extensions.

This was one of my favorite courses so far! I loved to be able to create and design my own portfolio to showcase the work I've done so far. I enjoyed playing around with the endless possibilities of Bootstrap and CSS to make my portfolio as responsive as possible. And as always, Matt was very clear and helpful in the videos. I enjoyed learning the basics of coding in this course. I had no prior experience and felt that this course was a good place to start. It was a lot of fun using the skills learnt during the course for the final project, helping me understand why we had learned what we did. The ability to postpone the course start date was useful, as I had to reschedule. 👩💻

I really enjoy this part! JS was tricky for me (and still is) but feeling when you get the cause and fix and create is amazing! I like that Matt slowly involve you for self research and you learn just to google some things to make your project better
I found it really stimulating and interesting to learn the basics of coding. I appreciate this initiative to target women and encourage them to get into the industry. The course is well structured and it helps you get a good grounding in what coding is for. The challenges that come with each lesson really help to build up to the bigger tasks.

Great and funny course! The videos were easy to follow. You can go at your own pace, and the challenges are significant to learn step by step. I had some knowledge of HTML but the Basics course helped me to put all the pieces together. Matt was reassuring and this didn't make me feel alone in my frustration. Plus, SheCodes has all the tools you need (the radio feature is awesome!)

Unlike other programming courses online, you get to understand from minute one how HTML, CSS and JS are interconnected and gain autonomy very quickly to build your own webpage. It's very satisfying to see how easy programming really is. I think everybody should follow this course: in the 21st century, not knowing how to code is somehow like not knowing how to read... I've enjoyed the learning experience a lot and can only encourage others to sign up!
At first I was a little afraid to start SheCodes course, just because I have never tried anything like it.... But now I feel so happy that I finished my final project. Looking forward to learn more!

I am a PhD student in Life Sciences and, to my shame, never learned how to code. I felt like I am so out of the culture of my peers. Whenever someone had a "coding screen" on their desk I felt "panicky". I have been on and off the frontend programming on different online platforms these 2 years and SheCodes really motivated me to learn and complete all the small challenges after each lesson, I was very excited to work on the weekly project and created my own projects too! I love the teaching content and the self-paced learning. After these 3 weeks, I am actually very confident in basic HTML, CSS, and JS. This course really helped me to understand the frontend programming structure and now I'm able to read the code in different websites which provide frontend templates and I am no longer afraid to try coding by myself! For someone who had never heard of React before, the amount I've learned is immense. I am happy that I had this opportunity, though I would have liked to learn more React terminology and further uses.

I really enjoyed that the course was constructed in a way that I could really go at my own pace and almost gamified the learning process. I can honestly say that I found it both challenging and fun. At the same time it leads you through the learning in a logical way that I wouldn't have been able to sort out on my own.
I am incredibly happy that I decided to learn coding. To be honest, I did not believe in success and was sure that I would not be able to finish the lessons of the first week, because I thought it was mega difficult. I was wrong. I loved the Basics course! I had absolutely zero knowledge when I first signed up for the course, but I am feeling really excited to continue my coding education! I'm planning to sign up for SheCodes Pro! The course structure is easily digestible and the challenges after every lesson make it so easy to learn as you go!
I had zero experience with coding and it is all so much clearer to me now! There are some tough concepts to learn, but Matt does a great job explaining them. I also love that I can watch the videos as many times as I need. I am a teacher and will teach coding to my students this year now that I feel more comfortable helping my students if and when they get stuck with our own programs.
SheCodes Plus was a great experience. I really enjoyed the step-by-step videos showing how to make your code more functional and clear, as well as learning more about API and the GitHub workflow. I'm looking forward to taking the Pro and React courses next.

It's been great to step out of my comfort zone and trying something new! I use basic HTML and CSS properties with my job but I was surprised at how much more I learned. Its been hard to put aside time to work around my normal workload but it's been very enjoyable!
I had a fun working on final project, also it was challenging. I've learnt many new things. I'd like to praise the course and team that created it. It is well-structured course with clear explanation and lots of examples in every lesson. Looking forward to continue my coding journey!
These workshops have been so much fun to go through and learn new things. It has been fun to let the creative side come out and to be challenged at the same time. When something goes "wrong", you have to problem solve to try and figure it out. If you still stuck then you have an amazing community to reach out to that can help you!
After almost 2 months of intensive work, I finally finished all the modules of SheCodes. I have learned so many new skills and I can say that I am proud of myself. React was something new and initially frightening for me, but I have done it—almost 2 weeks of really intensive work. I created two projects on the program and one for me. I want to keep learning and create more projects that would assist me to transition to becoming a front-end developer. Thanks to the whole SheCodes team for all.

I work a full-time job so I'll admit I wasn't too sure about how much information I would be able to absorb with this workshop, but, I was able to get through some of the lessons daily and complete each week challenge with ease. I was genuinely surprised at how quick I picked up the basics! It felt really rewarding to clear each week and I am really excited to see what I learn next. Seeing the actual creativity behind coding also really opened my eyes to what it is, I had fun making cute pages.
I really enjoyed SheCodes React it really pushed me to try new things and use stuff learned in previous workshops in different ways.
As a person who has come to the United States to live here with absolutely no knowledge of the language, I would highly recommend this course to other people. Not only does it help move along my studies as a student learning the English language, but also as a student learning how to code. The closest I've come to coding was editing html back on myspace.. needless to say I barley understood what I was doing. Fast forward years later and today and I just completed the SheCodes Basics 3 week program and I am in awe of myself on what I was able to create in this short period of time. Matt created this program in short digest-able lessons that make it so anyone can learn and enjoy learning it! If you think you can't do it... I promise, YOU CAN! I am excited to move on to the next workshop.
