After the basic workshop, I decided to continue my SheCodes journey. It was, of course, more challenging, but it was also fun and I learned a lot more about coding. I am looking forward to continuing this journey 😉
This project was so hard. Sometimes I thought that coding is not my thing and I should quit the course. But as soon as I found and corrected a mistake, I got pleasure. I am satisfied with my work. Of course it's not ideal. But I have a lot of lessons learned behind me and much more new things to come.
I have learned a lot. the classes are in bite sized pieces so that you can take your time and digest. the concepts are new to me and SheCodes courses makes it all easier. I come from a healthcare background and want to learn how to Code. SheCodes makes it all easy and the team are always ready to help. Thank you guys so much ❤️

I can't recommend this program enough. I have told so many people about it already! This was a major experience for me, as I had the opportunity to explore the inside of web page creation. This course was not an easy take for me, but even more, valuable. The begginer course is so informative and easy to understand. Matt Delac is a great teacher. I wish I attended this bootcamp during my earliest days of learning web development.
I barely finished SheCodes Basic workshop and I cannot wait to start the next one. I truly enjoyed everything about it! The weekly homework made me repeat what I've learned and also pushed me into searching other videos on Youtube and learning more in-depth. Recommend this to everyone that wants to get into this world of programming. The satisfaction of looking at something you created it's AMAZING!
At the end of the workshop I couldn't believe how much I had learnt. It seemed really bulky initially but with the instructors step by step approach, I was able to understand relatively fast.
The first week was quite stressful and a lot of material to learn, the other two weeks went smoother. Good way to learn through practise.
I had a wonderful time learning something new on my free time. 10 out 10 would do again.
I have really enjoyed working through SheCodes Basic! It was so easily to follow, and the lessons were short, to the point, and enjoyable. I feel like I have learned a lot in just 3 weeks, and I am looking forward to continuing with the other SheCodes courses!

I was a complete amateur when I started the SheCodes workshops and I've learned so much since then. I thought learning React was going to be a bit more difficult than it was, but I got through it with ease and Matt explained everything well. When I did have issues, I had good support from the team through Slack. I'm bummed that this is my last workshop, but excited to see where this coding journey will bring me.
SheCodes Basics was very accesible and useful for my learning. The lessons were easy to follow and the challenges really contributed to my understanding of the concepts and processes to follow. I would definitely recommend for beginners!

i think discussed functions were really useful, but the learning process is a bit off. tasks basically require you to repeat everything you have already done in the video. We build up functions in a very confusing way, add them, and get rid of them. We have spent so much time to learn how to switch F to C just so we can get rid of that at the end......
I really enjoyed Shecodes Basics and highly recommend it to everyone who want to get an idea what coding is about! It was fun to watch Matt's videos as they are easy to follow/understand. The challanges were a lot of fun too. But mostly I enjoyed doing my own project, because you can already play around with the skills you learnt. I will definitley enroll for the SheCodes Pro course as I now know that I absolutely wanna move on and become a professional front end developer!

This is an excellent course. I learned a few new techniques and practiced the OpenWeatherAPI. The course has a convenient organization that helps personal time management. I'm a bit stuck with parametrized callback functions in axios but found a solution by googling. Thanks a lot.
SheCodes Basics was the perfect introduction to coding, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted to learn coding to develop my skillset, increase creativity and improve cross-department collaboration with the development and product teams. All of the challenges and practical exercises were extremely helpful in putting what you learnt to the test! SheCodes made something that was quite intimidating to me, very fun and interesting! I highly recommend and look forward to progressing onto the next workshop.

Another great SheCodes course! I love how by each course, you get 'set loose' more and more. It is more challenging that way, but it also makes it more fun. Though the two React projects are technically done, I still want to play around with them more. Sometimes it was hard to reach the weekly deadlines (I also took the course during summer holiday), but it was easy to extend a week at a time. Some of the documentation for e.g. the dictionary API was not 100% up to speed, but it's understandable that that will happen quickly - it also makes the course more 'realistic' in a way, as I'm sure similar problems could happen in 'the real world'. The course is not comprehensible enough for me to now call myself a React developer, but there is definitely a good fit between duration, price and quality. Most importantly, it has made me get excited about React and learning more!
I've completed all 4 courses with SheCodes. I've taken a variety of online coding courses in the past and SheCodes has easily been the best. Each course has been easy to understand and follow along, the challenges help you apply what you've just learned and the projects have been fun to complete.

It was an unforgettable learning experience! Matt's lessons whith the with the small steps technique made it possible to master quite difficult material. I will missing this learning, because SheCodes are great workshops. I am proud of my project and proud to have graduated. I hope that this is just the beginning of my Front-end developer career.
I've really enjoyed my SheCodes basic course! I started doing it whilst on maternity leave with my 8 week old (probably not the best time to start learning something new - but I did it!). I realised that when I go back to work, I don't want to do what I was doing previously and want something which is more flexible. Matt made everything really easy to understand, and each video broke everything down well and the homework after each section was really helpful. I've really enjoyed the course so far, and look forward to continue with the next course when my little one is a bit older and we're in more of a routine. For the meantime, I will revisit the old videos and keep practicing to enhance my skills!
Learning React and practicing all these technics with SheCodes and Matt was an incredible journey. I couldn't even imagine 3 months ago that I would be able to create projects like this. Matt is an amazing teacher, he can arouse interest in programming from the very first lesson and give a chance to start a new life with new career opportunities in tech. I have really enjoyed learning to code with SheCodes! It's definitely challenging but you also really feel a sense of achievement when you figure it out. Learning via SheCodes is awesome. You'll learn everything step by step and can work on it. Matt is great at explaining complicated topics. SheCodes' team is also available to assist you if you feel stuck. Therefore, they all contribute to making it an enjoyable experience.
Challenging but rewarding sessions. As a visual learner I really benefitted from the clear and concise instruction through Matt's videos. The exercises build and layer quite quickly and each new item is practiced in several ways. By the end of the course, a lot of the new skills become automatic. A really engaging course which I enjoyed thoroughly.
Classes are well guided and there is always support from SheCodes team and fellow learners in case you get stuck.

Another great experience with SheCodes workshop. Building my own portfolio website from scratch was real fun. Apart from the main role of the front-end developer, you can try also yourself as a designer, SEO content writer, and manual tester :)) I have learned Responsive tools to make my website look good on all devices and put it on a live server so I can share it with potential employers.
