Transitioning into project management since April 2022 and I have been taking a series of courses online, I joined a forum of project managers online and one thing that was mentioned to keep me ahead in this role is I should know the basics of Coding. surprisingly I am a medical laboratory scientist and have never coded in my life because I believe these are roles for men not until I came across SheCodes during my search for a platform to learn to code. this journey has been great and as someone with zero knowledge who now knows the basics of coding, it blows my mind. I am really grateful to the team on slack for their quick response to questions and to Matt you are amazing. joining the SheCodes plus class as soon as possible because, with the basic knowledge, I don't think project management will be enough maybe I can be a web developer or a skilled engineer...
Challenging but very enjoyable. Matt explains the concepts and the advanced content in a way that is very easy to understand. The challenges with every lesson were useful for understanding the concepts, but it is has been fun doing the lessons on a daily basis. I hope that I will be able to continue learning coding and hope to use the knowledge I learnt in future careers.

The SheCodes Basic workshop gave me a really good introduction into coding. The lessons were easy to understand and follow. Initially, React was a little tough to follow along with, being that it was new to me. As always, Matt explains things in a way that just makes you get it. This is the most effective workshop to understand the basis of development. I was searching on Google and it's difficult to find the motivation online, since the topic is a little bit scary and confusional. The best thing about Shecodes is that you find motivation. Everything is clear and you will have the need to learn more.
Taking part in SheCodes has been a great experience for me. For example, I've had the opportunity to learn coding in a supportive environment with other women and have gained valuable skills that I can use in my future career. This course is highly recommended because I love the way Matt teaches. I was initially interested in the workshop to familiarize myself with coding and enhance my work with software and game localization. I am now much more confident to work with software-related projects, all thanks to the practical skills I learned in this course.
Easy to follow along and learn. Mind you however: The 3 weeks will not get you fluent in the coding language, it will take longer to get routed and comfortable. Nevertheless, would def. recommend to beginners!

Studying coding with SheCodes has been a fantastic experience for me. I just started two weeks ago and knew nothing about coding. After two weeks I am delighted to say that I confidently have learned the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. These classes are full of fun, intrigue, and sometimes intensity. I mean intensity, positively. The pre-recorded lessons are excellent. However, video recordings alone are not enough to convey information. Hence, in order to learn faster, you need to listen attentively, take notes, and practice rewriting codes repeatedly. In spite of the fact that I only asked one question and found the solution before receiving a reply from the team. There is no doubt in my mind that the SheCodes team is awesome. Their support is always available to students, and students can count on them at any time. Prior to enrolling in the course, I had a lot of doubts about whether I should invest money in SheCodes. As a result of taking the classes covered in the first three weeks, I can say without a doubt that this has been the most valuable investment I have ever made. In addition to that, I also had concerns about payment and wrote an email to Matt elaborating on this topic. Upon receiving a response, I was offered a discount and the option of making monthly payments, which was very comforting for me. As a side note, I'd like to mention that I was neither paid nor pressured to write this testimony. It was entirely my wish to do so. (My motivation for writing this sentence is because I found some upsetting YouTube videos that were misrepresenting the SheCodes course)! Thank you, SheCodes for creating such an incredible course. Learning about SheCodes, was one of the best things that have happened to me. Prior to me learning about SheCodes, I had already been teaching myself to code but my commitment level was nothing to write home about. I was excited to see the new add-ons! 💜🤩 In SheCodes plus add-on I learned how to implement date and time in an easier manner with Moment.js. It was a great workshop for extra-practice!

Great place to learn about responsive design, how to make your website to look great on any device and any screen size. I've leaned so much about building fast, responsive sites with Bootstrap and CSS media queries.

As a complete beginner with no prior knowledge in coding, I was initially intimidated by the thought of learning how to code. However, the course I took was designed in a way that made it easy to understand even for someone with no background in coding. The lessons were well-structured and the instructors were very patient in explaining the concepts. The course started with the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and gradually built upon that foundation, allowing me to gradually gain confidence in my abilities. The course also provided plenty of hands-on exercises and projects, which helped me to apply what I had learned and solidify my understanding. Overall, the course was a great introduction to the world of coding and I feel much more comfortable diving deeper into coding.

The first time coding was brought to my attention, I thought to myself that it was going to be extremely difficult. Since, I am a person who loves a challenge, I went for it. When I decided to use SheCodes as my learning platform, I was nervous. But, after the first lesson, I knew I made the right decision. Matt's teaching style is definitely very clear to understand and follow. Especially for individuals who have never seen coding before. In the 2nd week, I started to doubt if I could really do this or not. And this was because I caught myself getting stuck on challenges. I started to feel intimidated. After reaching out for help from other students and SheCodes staff, I gained my confidence and excitement back. Coding so far is fun and very interesting. After completing SheCode's basic workshop, I know without a doubt coding is for me. I look forward to learning more programming languages, techniques, and skills with SheCodes!!
The add-on projects are a fun way to refresh what I learned in the original workshops while still building my portfolio.
I loved how SheCodes had short videos that didn't feel overwhelming and you could watch at your own time. There is always help available when you need it but I think when your code is not working and giving you the result you want, trying to figure out what is wrong helps you learn better! Matt is a great instructor that makes coding really fun and exciting. Would definitely recommend this course!
