I started this course as a "true beginner" and I feel like I've learned SO much so far! The lessons and challenges are tricky BUT very manageable. I definitely recommend this course to women who work full-time and are looking for a course to take that works with their schedule.

I have always had the notion that coding is extremely difficult and I may not be able to understand how to go about it. However, learning with SheCodes so far has been an amazing experience. The various videos are short, loaded with the necessary information, and straight to the point. I'm excited I gave this a try. I had very basic knowledge of HTML from when I was in school. SheCodes allowed me to explore my interest in coding further without being thrown in the deep end or feeling over-whelmed! I've received so much satisfaction from seeing my work develop and cannot wait to learn more! :)

The workshops are getting more advanced and I enjoy the challenge. For me, it requires more time then estimated, but that is probably because I am such a perfectionist and very details oriented. I can't wait to learn some more.
So far, so good. The way each workshop is planned, Matt's teaching, the challenges and assignments of each stage, and the fact that I can use the content in any free time I have during the week, undoubtedly make this course one of the best online courses for learning how to code. It's been really fun!
Although it might get complicated and hard to understand sometimes, as you go further, you'll find it more interesting and that's because Dear Mr.Delac tries to explain the process every time. I believe that, practice makes perfect. I hope, I can have an opportunity to practice what I have learnt so far, and learn more,(even as a volunteer) in a team. Can't wait to start this new carrier.

This was a great course to learn how to make responsive web pages. I really liked that we were able to make a responsive personal portfolio. The SheCodes team provides great support and Matt is an awesome teacher.

Due to past experiences with different coding courses, i had expected this to be a really difficult course. I was very surprised as how, it was set out and how easy it was to follow. I love that it is set out in bite size chunks, with challenges to show that we've understood what we've just learned. It's set out perfectly and i highly recommend it if you want to get into coding.
After this course I'm curious to continue learning coding,thank you a lot! I've tried before to learn in marathones but it was too complicated and unclear at start -so I gave up and was convinced java and css - definitely not for me, appreciated I had seen that it's pretty logical, creative and interesting
The SheCodes React Workshop was a solid introduction to React. I am excited to use React in my future projects. It's hard to believe I embarked on this journey 5 months ago and learned so much! I've been trying to learn how to code for the last year but couldn't really get the hang of it. I also wasn't sure where to start or what I should focus on as there is so much to learn. I finally decided to enroll in SheCodes and have really enjoyed the coursework thus far. It's very easy to understand and the projects are enjoyable to work through. It can be a challenge at times but once my work is done, I love being able to see what I've created.
I really enjoyed this course and it inspired me to learn coding professionally in the future.

This was an excellent experience, I learned a lot and I would definitely keep doing all the courses in SheCodes. Matt is a great instructor, every topic is very well explained. Having to create not one but two different weather apps using two different languages has been so interesting. From having little to no knowledge about react to learning and creating a weather app is fascinating. After completing SheCodes Basic Bootcamp, I must say that it was an incredible experience. I had always been interested in coding, but I was intimidated by the idea of learning it on my own. However, SheCodes made it easy and accessible. The course was well-structured, and the instructors were knowledgeable and patient. The lessons were broken down into manageable segments, making it easy to understand and apply the concepts. Additionally, the practice exercises and projects were challenging yet rewarding, providing ample opportunities to apply what I had learned.

Before joining SheCodes, I had no idea what coding was. And because of that I anticipated it would be challenging to learn or even understand, but Matt made it simple to comprehend. All I had ever known was science, and I never in a million years imagined that I would be here today writing code. I can state with confidence that I know what HTML, CSS and Javascript basic is and I can create websites, not yet professional, but I do know a few things. All I can say is that I'm eager to study more and develop my skills because the future looks too promising. Who knows, maybe I, a South African woman, might return and claim that I also work for Google. Crazy right!

With the coding knowledge that I have gained within the past few months, it's as if I can see behind the curtains of some apps now. I'm picturing what the HTML looks like and wondering how they got the font that is being used. In all honesty, coding seemed a bit intimidating, because the art of learning new things has never come easy for me, due to dyslexia. But the love of puzzles has pushed me through, whenever I broke my own codes. If it wasn't for the SheCodes slack team, I would have thrown my laptop outside the window by week #6. I appreciate that team for the times that I have gotten stuck and I must have worn out their patience.

Matt is a great teacher and the Slack moderators are encouraging and always there when you need them! I found the weather app to be a bit challenging, but I'm happy to have learned more about Javascript, and so happy with the end result of my weather project.
I would suggest this workshop to a friend. It was easy and fun to learn but also helpful to review some concepts.

Juggling full time work and a family of two young children is a challenge, the desire to up-skill myself is also a priority for me. Data Analytics and coding interests me greatly. I stumbled upon SheCodes and it was a perfect option that allowed me to study at my own pace and in my own time. The lessons and challenges are short and sweet. This allowed me to fit studying in my very busy week. I would highly recommend this course for anyone interested in learning the basics of coding.
