As a homeschool mom of 2 I wasn't sure if I would have the time to try to learn to code. I've been out of college and the workforce for a few years now and I looked at a handful of possible bootcamps to try. I'm so glad I went with SheCodes. Not only is it perfect for people who need to do lessons at random, odd hours, but the content is great and easy to understand. Matt is seriously the best instructor I've come across so far in this field. I've done a few self learning courses and youtube tutorials and other things but learning from Matt's videos have definitely been the best experience I've had in the last 2 years of me trying to decide if I wanted to do this or not. The projects are exciting, providing a lot of creativity and excellent examples. The learning platform helped me to feel confident and safe. This was an awesome dive into coding! My biggest compliments to Matt for creating such a cool corner of the internet! I am amazed at what I was able to learn in 3 weeks. Matt's teaching style made the content easy to understand and digest. The challenges at the end of each lesson were great at allowing me to apply what I had just learned. This helped me with retaining the lesson details so that I could easily apply them in the next lesson.
I found this workshop to be very informative and easy to follow, although not so easy that I feel like I didn't learn anything. I feel as though I now have a strong grasp of HTML and CSS basics and I can't wait to learn more!
SheCodes makes learning really fun with a great balance of theory, practicals and code-a-long videos. I've found that the structure of the lessons has helped me to pick up concepts quickly and you do feel you have achieved something each week with the homework tasks. I've also picked up lots of tools and tips that aren't necessarily taught in other self-learning platforms I've tried.
Wow, I made a teensy "webpage" for the first time in my life, all by myself! Feel so excited!! I had fun learning html, css and javascript. Ha ha, makes me feel so smart! Wonderful beginner class that I thoroughly enjoyed. I look forward to learning more.

SheCodes Basic has been fun to learn! I really like that we are able to learn at our own pace. The lessons are explained well and it's great that we can rewatch the videos at any time. I’ve been working in retail, healthcare , and in Customer Service since I’ve graduated college. I currently work at a call center as a Customer Support Specialist and I was in desperate need of a career change. I was hesitant of making a big transition into coding until I gave it a shot to see if I would like it. I tried SheCodes and discovered a love and interest in coding.She code definitely helped me overcome imposter syndrome and gave me the confidence to want to learn how to code. I appreciated the flexibility or learning at my own pace and having workshops that are detailed and break concepts down to where it’s easy to follow along.I’m now going to focus on learning how to code to become a front end developer one day.
This is a good introduction course for newbies to coding. Weeks 1 and 2 were long, but you learn a lot about HTML, CSS, and Java. Week 3 was my favorite since you get to create a page from scratch. I recommend SheCodes to others that are curious about coding and webpage designing.

This was my favorite bootcamp so far. I've learned a lot from it! Definitely more than I've learned with my other front-end bootcamps.
I really enjoyed this workshop. within my first three weeks I knew the basics os coding and i feel confident in progressing my learning. Matt made the sessions so easy and beginner friendly. I was able to digest all the information with no problems.
The Add-On programme supplements a series of very interesting and useful elements, while guiding you through the elements required for its final project. Just like in its main course, the classes are bite-sized, yet provide food for thought and elicit curiosity, all the while allowing to maintain learning momentum. Very satisfied so far 😊

It was a fun course and you learned a lot about how a website can be viewed on different screens. You must be creative to change your website in such a way where it is still beautiful to look at but it also looks clean.

I have learned so much, very quickly and managed to do it in my own time. The deadline tactic has made a huge difference for me, there has been no excuse to not continue my studies. Learning online has also made it so much much easier, I've been able to fit my learning around my work and family. I would highly recommend the course to everyone, not just those of us who want to move into a career in coding.
I enjoy how flexible this program is; I worked full time the entire time of the program and studied on the weekends, and a couple of hours on Mondays and Wednesdays. To be honest, I still feel a little lost and my final project is not 'perfect,' but I would like to continue learning to develop these skills and take my project to the next level. Everyone is very helpful on Slack and I am excited to review the next topics, I am doing SheCodes Max.

This five-week program is great! I have started with SheCodes Basics and I can feel how they integrate into your developing skills. The outline is very practical and easy to follow. If you're a girl looking for an opportunity to learn Front-end development, SheCodes would be one of the best places to start. I have recently made a career change from working in healthcare to wanting to become a software engineer. Since completing SheCodes Basics I realized this was the perfect choice for me!
