Enrolling in the SheCodes Basics workshop was such a great experience. I've always been intimidated by coding, but Matt and the SheCodes team made the learning process so approachable by breaking down concepts into bite-sized pieces. I've learned so much more in the 3 weeks of the workshop than I did after months on other platforms. The support through the Slack channel I received throughout the workshop was invaluable. I love walking away from the workshop with a complete project to demonstrate my new skills and look forward to continuing my coding journey.

There's a lot to learn each week but the material is laid out in a way that is easy to follow. The challenges are very helpful for reviewing and practising the skills covered in each lesson.

I really enjoyed the way this workshop was laid out. It was really helpful to watch the lesson video first and then do a challenge myself. That is the best way to learn. I was initially skeptical about joining the SheCodes bootcamp, having tried various other coding courses in the past that were not straightforward and left me constantly filling gaps by watching YouTube videos on my own time. However, from the very start of the SheCodes degree program, Matt's explanations were clear and made the learning process much easier. I found that I barely had to use any external help, which was a refreshing change. The team were also incredibly responsive and helpful whenever I had general enquiries or issues with my work. Overall, I had an excellent experience with SheCodes and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into coding. The program was well-structured and easy to follow, and the support provided by the SheCodes team was second to none. I'm now much more confident in my coding abilities and excited to continue my learning journey in this exciting field.
It was a wonderful experience! A professional team that will promptly help with all questions and difficulties. But there were not many questions, as the video tutorials are very clear and visual. It's nice to see the result of creativity in the form of a working application :) I would just like to ask you to add subtitles, because with them it will be easier for foreigners to learn the material in English. Not everything can be immediately understood by ear, so you need to reduce the playback speed, which slows down the process. I really enjoy the class and was amazed by myself for being able to code basic HTML websites! Matt really simplifies the process and make it easy to understand the different elements. It can sometimes feel overwhelming on juggling my full-time job and learning an entirely new skillset but the course goes with your own pace and there's always an option to take a step back while keeping things on track!
I had good expectations going into the workshop, and they were not only met, but exceeded. I learned so much, and felt genuinely invested in what I was doing the entire time. Will be upgrading to the max workshop, and am excited to start!

The SheCodes Responsive workshop was, like the others, as interesting and challenging, but I had more fun in completing my final project and using the tools we learned throughout the weeks. I felt more confident in completing my Portfolio and put finishing touches to my previous projects. Even after weeks of following the workshops, seeing a project come to life, after hours of work, will always be satisfying and rewarding.
As a self-learner, I got a chance to learn a lot of new things through this course and this will indeed help me in my web development journey.

SheCodes workshops are best introduction to coding. I didn't know anything about codes or much about software in general before I joined the free coding class and by the end of it I was insipred to learn. At first I was hesitant to join but I'm glad I did because the basic workshop was broken down into simple manageable steps.

The SheCodes Plus add-on is a great expansion to SheCodes Plus. I really liked learning how to code with SheCodes, at first I was a bit scared but after the first free hour, I realised that this could not only be a new passion of mine, but my future job.
During the SheCodes Plus Workshop I had the opportunity to build a weather app using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The experience was both challenging and fun, and I learned a lot along the way (Bootstrap, Github, API). The format of the workshop was excellent, and I enjoyed creating the weather app despite the difficulty. I found that Matt, our instructor, did an excellent job of explaining each element and function clearly, making it easy for everyone to understand JavaScript.
Great workshops that have been a heap of fun to progress through and I'd highly recommend. The projects have been integral to cementing the skills learned. I have no hesitation in recommending the course and if you apply yourself fully you will really progress quickly.

Learning how to build a weather app from Mat proved to be a steep learning curve. Analytical thinking and slowing down to break things into logical steps is a must-have skill for anyone wanting to be successful in writing code. Mat showed us that it can be done, and that coding is fun. If you want to learn the fundamentals of coding, you are in the right place.
The perfect workshop to start learning from scratch. The structure of the program and the teaching methods are well thought out. Information is presented gradually and dosed, and therefore it is assimilated easily and without haste. My subjective opinion: a wonderful start that fuels interest in further study.
I never ever thought that I would be embarking on a journey to coding. I must admit it was terrifying in the beginning that I kept on postponing my start date until I gathered enough courage to 'bite' the proverbial 'bullet' and 'jump off the (coding) cliff', only to find out that I actually do enjoy it a lot! With limited experience in the world of technology, I was only surprised and delighted to discover that it was very satisfying and such a pleasure to have learned it, especially under the expert tutelage of Matthieu Delac. I would encourage women to try it out and see for themselves. I personally have discovered how engaging, challenging and very useful coding really is. Like anything, practice makes perfect, and that is up to me. Thank you SheCodes! I applaud you for making this accessible to many women around the world who otherwise would not have had the courage or opportunity to learn it.

The Basic Workshop was well-structured and easy to follow, even for someone like me who had no prior coding experience.
