I've attempted to learn Python before and I am not going to lie, it seemed scary and overwhelming. I like Matt's teaching style and how he breaks things down. I'm excited to learn more and dig further into Python.
I picked up the SheCodes Python basics course about a while after I have done the front end certificates back in 2020 - I picked SheCodes because I was comfortable and confident with the style of teaching. I encountered some challenges as a beginner, but the project allowed me to learn essential web development and technology skills, including structuring content and basic styling. Overall this HTML project was a fantastic learning experience and I am happy with what I have accomplished.

Greatly setup for people who have some experience, but even if you don't, the lessons are small and manageable with any little time you have to practice and learn! For anyone who does not know where to start learning to code, I would highly recommend SheCodes. I was looking for structure and a good place to start and I found it. Matt does such a good job explaining concepts and makes it so easy to follow. Having challenges to work on after each lesson also helps you to practice and the community is always available to answer any questions you might have. Starting the course was the best decision I made for myself and I would do it again!

I’ve found that building this website has significantly enhanced my coding skills. The project was challenging, but it was a valuable learning experience. I learned many new concepts and techniques that have greatly expanded my understanding of web development. Additionally, the support from my instructor, Matt, has been incredibly beneficial. React is more simplified than Javascript. It has been fun learning how to code! Always learning something new.
Learning responsive design was super challenging but totally worth it! There was so much to take in, from fluid grids and flexible images to media queries and breakpoints. At times, it felt like information overload. But thanks to Matt, I managed to navigate through it all. He really helped me understand how everything fits together to make websites look great on any device. Getting the hang of responsive design really pushed me to up my game and think more about usability and accessibility. This introduction into Python makes the language digestible and easy to learn.
This will test what you have learned so far and you will see your improvement from Basic to Plus. I definitely did enjoy a lot more and learned to be comfortable on being okay if a code does not work for the first time. There were lots of learning curves as I completed the weather app. Overall, SheCodes Plus was satisfying and fulfilling to complete a whole project.
The content was clear, well-structured, and easy to follow. The hands-on projects and practical examples really helped solidify my understanding. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn React!

Over the past three weeks, I deepened my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, building on my prior experience in web development.
