SheCodes was a wonderful experience. The videos were very easy to follow and easy to understand. Matt is correct that it is fun to try and figure things out how to make your code unique and fun. I can now look at a piece of code and get a general idea of what it means and how it functions. I still have a lot to learn, but the basics is great and I feel like I learned a lot!
I wholeheartedly recommend the SheCodes Responsive Graduation course to anyone interested in learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design. SheCodes Basic Add-On was a little more complex but used very similar coding styles as Basic. You do learn more tricks to snag up a page and it was very fun to create something based on something I liked. Can't wait for the next round of learning!

I had the most incredible experience with SheCodes Plus, and I cannot express enough how valuable and empowering the workshop has been for me. I embarked on this coding journey with little to no knowledge about web development, but SheCodes transformed me into a confident and capable developer. The highlight of this workshop was learning to build an actual working weather app from scratch. I didn't expect to enjoy coding as much as I did with Matt and the community. I had some challenges, but I learned a lot in the last two months and feel proud of my final projects. It was rewarding to continue building my knowledge after each lesson and figuring out how to troubleshoot, especially if it took several hours. I found most of the answers I needed from the Slack channel. I hope to bring this knowledge with me as a UX, UI, or Product Designer. I really enjoyed this course! Matt explained everything very clearly and having access to the videos 24/7 allows you to learn at your own pace, which is very helpful. The challenges were engaging and allowed you to apply and test what was taught in each lesson. I felt this was a very safe space to begin learning to code.

Learning to code has been exciting! I like how the courses are brief yet very clear on what we need to learn. You can go at your own pace if you need more or less time on a lesson. You have access to all the tools and materials needed for the class. No matter what situation you may be in, I'm so thankful to have found this. Being a mom of 3 and my youngest being 3 years old, I can still be successful and achieve this goal without having to compromise my time or schedule. Thank you!!

This has been one of the most exciting and inspiring courses that I have done where it not only taught me so much in such a short period of time but, also pandered to my need for instant gratification. I say this as throughout the course, the challenges allowed me to see the fruits of my learning almost instantly and this spurred me on to learn more. Exceptionally well-designed and structured, timely results, and overall an excellent course.
SheCodes has given me a better understanding of coding. After following the Basic course back in 2021, I didn't do anything with my learnt skills. Despite that, I was able to complete the Basic add-on course relatively easily and had a blast during . It's amazing to see that Shecodes is able to quickly offer in-depth insights into coding that will stick with you for years.

There was some difficult parts but it was interesting to learn about bootstrap and API.
I struggled a little bit at the beginning but once I learned the basics and practiced, I felt more comfortable!
It was amazing learning how to code with SheCode, the learning videos were very professional and helpful.
I learned so much from SheCodes Plus. There were moments when it was already hard to follow but if you just review the modules again and again, it would make sense in the end. Just don't give up :)

SheCodes Plus provides a more in-depth view and experience on HTML/CSS/JS covering additional topics like APIs, development habits and version control processes. The weather app project wrapped up the course utilising all materials learnt. It was a really fun project!
In this workshop, I experienced lots of fun and joyful yet challenging moments learning how to code through React and I could run my own weather app with the forecasting features.
This workshop was a lot of work, but it was very rewarding. I learned a lot and love how easy it is to follow along.
SheCodes Plus is truly a great course, 11/10! I never thought I could make such a nice project. Before taking this course, I believed that learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be as hard as teaching calculus to baby haha. Even with the times of stress and frustration when I felt stuck doing a homework, I felt proud of the work I've done so far. I had a blast the past few weeks as a student of SheCodes. I came from knowing nothing about code to being able to read three coding languages, and even other languages I didn't learn about in this course like Python seem more approachable now. I'm learning a lot with SheCodes and I think that the workshop was great and highly educational. I could learn a lot and since there are challenges after every class, it helped me fixing the lesson and everything I've learned.
Loving it...learnt so many new skills.
Despite the course being a little bit spenny, it's still the best coding learning resource I have come across (and trust me I have tried everything lmao). Matt's teaching is thorough and patient, and unlike a lot of other resources online, actually talks you through the practical elements of say how to use other resources and how to host websites online etc, rather than just the care bones of 'this is how this particular language works'
I learned a lot in the Add-On. I thought it would be mostly review and extra practice but it actually adds more to your tool-belt for a more polished website. Challenging but worth it!

I loved this course, I've tried multiple other courses before but they all got me at learning JavaScript. It all seemed too complicated and there were no videos to help. Matt explains everything in a fun way so now I understand what I am doing and what I need to do to fix problems.

I've really enjoyed all of the Shecodes workshops. I've learned a lot which I'm already using in my own business. I also have really appreciated having a bit of a deadline to get things completed by. Without that I may have not finished this final workshop, but the prompts kept reminding me to get back to it, and I got it done :)
Before signing up, I didn't have any knowledge about front-end. However, thanks to the way each lesson was designed and the resources provided by the course, I learned a lot and made significant progress in a short period of time.
It was hard at first to take in so much information at once, I even had to watch more than a few videos multiple times because I didn't understand it the first time around. I feel so proud of myself now that I finished the first course. I'm excited to keep learning more in-depth material!
Learning advanced Javascript was not an easy journey. But, with Matt's instruction and the warm and helpful answers from the Slack community, I could strive to achieve my goal.

Having experience working with design software's like Photoshop and Illustrator the concept of CSS was fairly easy to grasp and made sense. JavaScript was a completely new language to me but reminded me of DAX functions that I've some, but limited, knowledge of. I consider myself more creative than analytical and the logic of JavaScript took some time figure out. The workshop was a lot of fun and Matt is very pedagogical and made it easy to follow and not get overwhelmed. The lessons gave me a great foundation to build on and now I know what to look for when I inspect the developer tool in the browser. The course left me wanting to learn more!
I had the honor of participating in this workshop on HTML, CSS and JS and it was an exciting experience. The instructors had a great command of the material and offered clear and understandable explanations. During the workshop, I learned many interesting tricks and techniques that allow you to create attractive and functional web pages.
