Great course. Really challenging at times, but learnt so much.
I really enjoyed this workshop. It was challenging but reminded me of why I want to pursue a career in coding. From learning new things, to doing research, to creating, and then tweaking was a great experience! I like to see the difference between the world clock I made during a previous workshop vs this workshop. I recommend doing this workshop, not only because it will amplify your knowledge but as a coder, it is important to keep learning/growing and stay as much up-to-date on the coding possibilities (which change/grow on a day-to-day basis.
I recently completed the SheCodes basic course, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. SheCodes has been a game-changer for me, as it has provided me with a solid foundation in web development, which is a crucial step in my journey to pursue a career in the IT industry. A few years ago, I embarked on an computer science degree. This left me with some coding experience, but not in the areas of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that are so essential in web development. The course content was well-structured and easy to follow. As a result of completing the SheCodes basic course, I now have a much better understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I feel more confident in my ability to create websites and work on coding projects, which brings me one step closer to achieving my goal of working in the IT field. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone interested in learning how to code. It's a fantastic program that provides a supportive learning environment and equips you with the skills you need to succeed in the world of web development. SheCodes Basic was a great introduction to coding, I had so much fun learning how to use HTML/ CSS and JavaScript. Matt gave a great overview on what to expect when learning code. SheCodes was a great introduction to coding and to the tools and knowledge needed for a job as a front-end developer. I learned a lot that I was able to immediately apply in my work and hope to continue growing my skillset!
I learned more than i thought I would. It's easy to follow, straight to the point and I want to move forward and complete the next courses.

I am so glad that I enrolled on the She Codes Plus coding course, and I must say it was a game-changer for me. This course has been fantastic in teaching me coding skills and I feel more confident, inspired, motivated, and ready to move on and learn more. I definitely feel a sense of accomplishment upon completing the course. SheCodes Basics was an EXCELLENT experience. I am pumped to continue the journey and move on to the max version. I have always been scared of "STEM" programs because I've never been very "quick" when it comes to logic. But Matt made this course easy to understand. He really understands what the student needs in order to get it -- or at least feel like they can get it. He pushes students to do the heavy-lifting so that we can genuinely learn the material. He assures students throughout the course that, even if they don't get it now -- they will get it with practice. One thousand times thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team!
For having so much information thrown your way, these workshops really cover everything simply and in detail, making it easier to learn and complete the homework and projects. I loved creating a portfolio to practice the latest lessons and display my projects all in one place.

I'd never imagined writing a code would be so entertaining and enjoyable instead of dull and tedious. The most exciting part of SheCodes Basics is that within three weeks (four weeks in case of taking SheCodes Basics Add-On), you'll be able to put everything you've learned throughout the course into practice and build a page.

Finally! I couldn't be happier to have completed this part of the amazing SheCodes workshops. It took me much longer than most people, I was in a really dark place mentally, and even though it was hard, I did keep pushing (pun intented) and I am extremely joyful that I did. I learned so much more about JavaScript, got acquainted with GitHub, Axios and APIs. Understood the importance of an organized code, now I'm confident that the flexibility of the code always comes first and beats aesthetics.
