I recently finished a beginner level web development course. I'm absolutely thrilled, with how it went. The course was incredibly well organized making it easy for me to grasp concepts. The instructors did a job of explaining things and providing relatable examples, which was immensely helpful. One thing that made the course truly fantastic was the hands on approach. Through coding exercises and small projects I was able to apply what I had learned boosting my confidence along the way. SheCodes has changed my life! For a really long time I did not know what I wanted to do professionally. I am currently in college, doing a major that I know is not what I want to do long term. Having taken the SheCodes courses, it has helped me identify and put my best foot forward towards my career. The lesson plans were easy to follow, fun and engaging! I knew nothing about coding before starting the workshop and now know how to build a (very basic) website. Love that there was flexibility to learn at your own pace and the possibility to push back deadlines if required. The support team were also very helpful.
For anyone who wants to start learning code, this workshop is very interesting. You will be challenged with different exercises, and everything is well explained.

I loved this! Thanks for everything, this was a great lil intro to get into coding. I WISH I HAD TIME TO SIGN UP FOR THE BIG WORKSHOP. I really wish I could just roll straight into the MAX workshop. But now I've started school and this is going to be a huge uphill battle for me to go from band director and musician to IT. Yikes! I will keep this in mind for later. It is soooo tempting, to keep the party going, but I will end up failing both sides. But again, I enjoyed this so much the FOMO IS REAL!!! I do recommend the workshops, even just the 3 week one to learn a few basics to get you going.
I enjoyed how well-balanced the course is when it comes to learning the skill of coding while putting in the work. You would expect that just because you're learning on your own that the course would be easy, but I was wrong. Matt truly pushes you out of your comfort zone to apply the skills you acquire within each lesson. I would recommend this course 100%

It was very helpful to build the project alongside the videos. Then it was fun to go back at the end and make any tweaks to the project to really make it your own. I learned so much from working on this project!
I must admit that this was the most difficult and intense course offered by SheCodes, and it took me a while to get into the React mindset. I am not very satisfied with the outcome, but I think this may be the first step for further future learning.
I highly recommend this React workshop. Matt teaches everything you need to know to build your first React app and gives you all the basic concepts to continue this learning journey on your own.
I wanted to get into Web Development, but found that free courses and YouTube tutorials didn't have enough structure to be conducive to learning. I've been so inspired to keep learning to code by means of SheCodes. During these workshops, my confidence has grown so much. This was a clear guide on how to start a developer career, it answered all the millions of questions I had already asked myself before even finishing the previous workshops.
