Fantastic coding course for beginners - well thought out curriculum and content, and delivered in a way that makes you feel so empowered and pro after doing the first 3 lessons (despite there being at least 20more to do!). Would highly recommend for those who are dabbling their toes into the "world of coding", and who want to learn something completely new.
SheCodes Plus is that next step that will make coding even more fun and challenging. Matt explains everything perfectly and there is always someone to assist you when you are stuck. I can not wait for what I am going to learn next.

A lot of the content was intimidating but in the end it was very accessible and I am proud of everything I learned and what I created!

Definitely gets more "intense"/complicated compared to the previous workshop but that is expected. This course was very interesting and i learnt a lot. Some of the videos, audio and information is outdated and hard to understand. I also wish there would be more information under the video which would help with note taking and understanding the content better. This course was very challenging but feel very glad i completed it.

I had so much fun learning more about JavaScript's capability and being able to build a weather app! You never know what you're capable of until you give it a try. While some of the scripting was super challenging, it was still manageable due to the amazing instructions and how the lessons are laid out. I'm so excited to continue my journey and see what other fun projects lie ahead.
This was by far the most challenging workshop of all. I learned a lot about React, and I had fun solving every roadblock I faced. I won't deny that sometimes I went to bed not knowing how to fix something, but ideas came through the next morning. Thanks to all the Shecodes team for being there when I needed it! Having the knowledge of how to make a webpage responsive is a must. Some of us use a mobile device to search for information, if is not responsive it will not show a proper way. I'm amazed how this course was able to provide these tools for me to learn.

I enjoyed taking this short-term coding course, it was fun when I wasn't stressed about meeting a deadline which they are very lenient about. One day I'll take one of the longer courses, but until then, I'll build on my skills from what I've learned so far and keep practicing. I'm thankful for SheCodes because I can now add coding to my list of skills.
This was a very challenging course. React is not easy, but it is repetitive so once you learn the basics it does get better.

No doubt about it this course is challenging. There were many times I wanted to give up, but I do like the fact that I'm learning something new, challenging myself, and I have an end product to look at. There's always assistance when you need it, because the shecodes team gets to you as soon as they can. I still feel like I fully don't understand but I'm getting there. Also, some advice, don't take a long break in the middle of the course.I had to and I do feel that it hindered how well I grasped the courses. Either way still glad I did it

Self paced, and able to speed up or slow down based on your week. I really enjoy Matt Delacs teaching technique. You feel like you are playing a game, where you WANT to learn, compared to learning at a lecture in college where you zone in and out. AKA it is highly enjoyable and easy to understand.
This React course was packed with new information and challenged, especially the final week of putting all the components together and getting them all to work together. I have learned so much during this course, and spent hours trying to figure things out while I kept breaking it! Had a blast! React is fun. Hard, but fun! :)

Learned a lot in this course again and saw how important react is for developing a great website. I rate this course a little bit lower than the others, since the documentation is not as complete and thorough as in the other courses. I had a great time designing my own icons and backgrounds for my project to mix it up, but it would have been great if this would have been a new project subject, not a weather app again.
I haven't taken time to do anything educational since I left school, I've just concentrated on working my way up through my corporate career which I have done with little qualifications, but I found myself wanting to learn something new and had no idea what; I don't know how I came across SheCodes but I am SO glad I did! I have really enjoyed learning a new skill and who knows if I'll take it any further than that, but for someone who isn't one for education, this has certainly taught me a lot!
I was an absolute beginner starting out, I had no experience of CCS or JavaScript and I've learnt so much. I really enjoyed the challenges throughout the course to help me test out my understanding and the final project was really fun to work out. I'm looking for a career change so this course was brilliant to help boost my skills and confidence in trying a new industry.
Taking this course was a game-changer. I went from zero coding knowledge to building my own websites confidently. The instructors were fantastic, and the hands-on projects made learning enjoyable.

SheCodes has two important features that helps learners a lot: First feature is its well designed learning path that consists of many small challenges. These small challenges guide yo step by step to code an app. And the second feature is its kind and supporting team that help learners fix their problems in learning path. I think the second one is the main advantages of SheCodes. Maybe there are many resources for self-learn but not all of them has such companions along the way of learning. I spoke about SheCodes with many friends during the months I was using it to learn how to code. If you decide to learn coding with it, I wish you the best of learning experience in SheCodes.

This course has been a fantastic introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript and I've enjoyed every minute. Sessions are delivered in well explained segments with small recap tasks to really help consolidate the teaching, the challenges are well explained and build upon the skills learnt, and the concepts are taught and demonstrated through engaging examples. There's also a really lovely community of other students eager to help each other out, which has been super useful for learning how to troubleshoot and problem solve. This one was so much fun, I feel like I was breezing past it! It was really interesting learning how to use APIs. Also, I'm glad I know how to use GitHub properly now haha. As always, Matt did a wonderful job teaching. I can't wait to move on to the next workshop!
It was fun and rewarding to build the app from scratch by learning all the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, JS, and API.
In this workshop, I became more familiar with Javascript, React, API calls, CSS styling and more. I learned the importance of folder structure and how to deploy a React application to Netlify. I am confidence my experience gained here will help me in my future projects!
The course was very informative and really helped break down everything. My only dislike is there is a time frame to complete each section. I would like to be able to learn on my own time, at my own pace but other than that It was very informative and easy to follow :)
