I really enjoyed accessing this module so I could practise and build on the skills I'd developed in SheCodes Basics. I've learnt some really useful skills and I've surprised myself with my final project! I'm actually proud of what I've been able to achieve. The SheCodes Basics Course is an excellent starting point to familiarize yourself with the introductory concepts of coding. The course was excellent in providing a step-by-step guide that encourages learning in a fun way. The content was easy to grasp, and it was beginner-friendly. I really enjoyed the learning process throughout the duration of this course.
After two and half years, I decided to take another SheCodes course to refresh my memory and to learn some more about how to code using other technologies. I wanted to challenge myself to see what I can do and if I still had the drive like I did the first time. I'm glad to say that it was as enjoyable, but also exasperating as it was back then. The course has given me something to think about, whether I continue on into this field. Perhaps I can try to integrate this in my language teaching background or in something entirely new. Overall, I recommend it to anyone who wants to test out the waters and who is seeking a new career path. Who knows where your passions will lead you.

Plus is a big step up from Basics but in such a good way - you cover so much ground from beginning to end and I really felt like I was making progress throughout, really proud of what I've learnt and definitely excited to learn more as I have been enjoying coding so much more than I thought I would. Lessons are great, accessible, and the explanations very clear.

It is been super fun, even for a complete beginner with zero math skills! I completed the workshop in 3 days, so it has been a lot of hours of learning and coding but it went by in no time!

SheCodes is an incredibly accessible way for women around the world to learn how to code. The lessons are easy to follow and move at a good pace. The projects are not only interesting, but also have real life value as examples of what you can do for potential employers. I appreciate that Matt always encourages us to have fun and to take breaks when we get frustrated - it's a healthy attitude that helps prevent me from getting overwhelmed. When I was a teacher, I learned that the most valuable thing we can teach our students is the ability to learn. Teaching people how to learn, problem solve, and figure things out on their own is incredibly empowering. SheCodes does that for you. While it's not always the most fun as a student (😅), being put in situations where you have to apply previous knowledge to figure out a new puzzle is a great exercise for learning. You'll often find yourself in positions like that during your lessons, but you become all the more stronger for it.

The SheCodes Basics Add-On is much more simple than the basic course because it's truly step-by-step. I actually did this course after I took SheCodes+ which, honestly, gave me some necessary breathing room. SheCodes+ was a bit of a struggle for me, so after learning more CSS and simple javascript with this course it kind of reignited that wanting to learn more flame. This course was a lot of fun.
So far the program has been great. I only finished the basic course and I think I can build a decent webpage now. It explains things clearly and gives you many problems in practicing what you learned.

SheCodes Plus was very challenging at times, but equally as rewarding in the end. I realised how much I could take with me from the SheCodes Basics course but also how much more there is to learn. It was a pretty difficult journey hey, at some point I thought I wouldn't be able to do it but I managed to push through and make sure I do all my homeworks and challenges and the final project, which was super challenging. I am very thankful to our tutor and his team for always helping me out when I didn't even have a clue on what I was doing. I have been working in tech for over a year right now, and I noticed that coding can be essential in my work. Not only is it something extra I give myself to learn outside working hours, but it opens new doors. Coding is my new therapy, which stimulates me to do more and to learn more while doing so.

Fantastic coding course for beginners - well thought out curriculum and content, and delivered in a way that makes you feel so empowered and pro after doing the first 3 lessons (despite there being at least 20more to do!).
