Finished another step into my coding journey! SheCodes Responsive has helped me deepen my knowledge into coding and sharpen my skills thru challenges given each lesson and by building a real-life project-my very own portfolio showcasing my project to potential employers. Like SheCodes Basics and Plus, I received all the necessary tools, updated materials and software, together with their live technical support in case I’m feeling stuck and needed help with the assignments. Importantly, I can take the lessons at my own pace, it can be easily accessed any time and it’s not a problem if I needed more time to finish the course; I can ask for extension to so that I can get back to it any time I’m ready. I find it quite rewarding that I was able to solve each problem by myself, getting back to Matt’s bite-size lessons which are all very clear. He delivers topics such as advanced Bootstrap (Navigation, Utility Classes, etc.), Flexbox, Multiple Page Hosting, Media Queries, and more in such a way that it is transparent, fun to learn and easy to understand. The workshop was structured in a way that allowed for plenty of hands-on practice, with coding exercises, weekly homework and final project that challenged me to apply what I had learned. The online format allowed me to work at my own pace and revisit material as needed, which was incredibly helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this online coding workshop to anyone interested in learning to code or looking to improve their skills. The quality of instruction and the interactive format made for an enjoyable and rewarding experience that I would not hesitate to participate in again.

Previously I had tried to learn html, css and javascript and for the life of me I could not come right. Then I came across SheCodes and with only just 3-4 weeks of being a part of the family I can truly say that this is the best platform to learn from. Not only does it offer hands on experience, but it also comes with an incredible instructor. Matt is so passionate and it is so inspirational. I can definitely see myself becoming a developer.

I recently completed the SheCodes program, led by Matt, and it was an incredible experience. I was able to learn a lot of excellent fundamental coding skills in just three weeks which have helped me feel more confident making the transition into tech.
